You chose to be some other else other than where you were.
You found acceptance there.

We failed to protect you.

When you accept another country as a homeland,
It is your sole choice.

Once your story spreads,
People will be able to understand.
Some will wonder why.
Some others will think you're a traitor.
Some will be confused.
It is only you who truly knows your homeland.

A homeland isn't your blood,
A homeland isn't where you were born,
It is the place where you choose to be and want to be.
