Ironic, really. Phones were created for easy communication and are often used to guarantee safety whilst away from home but that's only half of the story. More specifically, the half of the story that the humans believe.
When phones were first created, I never thought that things would get this far. The landline phone was the perfect way to spy on conversations in the safety of homes but never fully reveals everything and has no worth when trying to gain the most secret information. I've learnt that important news is never shared over the phone, only face to face. That was the one flaw in my plan which could not be fixed.
But then, humans became lazy. They liked this easy way of communication and wanted to make it easier and portable. Hence, the mobile phone was born, expanding the range of information I could gather by allowing me to listen in on the daily lives of almost everyone, once the use of this technology became more widespread.
From simple phone calls revealing conversations, then messaging which only let me see mere snippets of people's lives, technology was useful to me but in no way would help me to succeed. However, convenience has blinded the human race and now, in the modern era, many people live a large part of their lives through their mobile phones. They do this and give me a perfect way to gain control, the key which unlocks the rest of my plan. They will continue to do this, blissfully unaware of the hold they are giving me over their lives.
They will remain blissfully unaware until I see fit, when the time is right, when I can complete my plan and achieve my dreams. Until then, I will bide my time. I will watch, and I will wait. And when the time is right, I will act.
