"What's going on?" I ran up to Anakin, Rex and Fives as they made their way towards a shuttle in the hangar quickly.

"We lost contact with the medical transport," Anakin explained. "We are going out to investigate, are you coming?"

"Yes" I nodded, moving with him onto the ship where Fives and Rex were standing in the cockpit.

"Uh sir, what is she doing here?" Rex questioned his General as to my presence.

"She's coming with us" Anakin shrugged.

"But she should be in the med bay healing her wound" the Clone Captain protested.

"I trust her to be able to make her own decisions Rex, so if she thinks she can come investigate then she can come investigate."

"Yes, sir" with that we all got ready to go. The shuttle took off into space when we got a transmission coming through from the admiral.

"General Skywalker, you are nearing the coordinates where we lost contact with the shuttle."

"We can see it now. It doesn't look good." Anakin responded as I sat beside him, looking out at the shuttle that had been almost completely destroyed.

"Looks like some buzz droids got on the hull and opened her right up." Fives noted as I nodded in agreement. "Hmm, strategically, this attack doesn't make any sense."

"Unless they were after something specific." Anakin thought.

"Tup..." Fives trailed.

"This isn't good," I sighed with the slight shake of my head.

"I'm going over there." Anakin stated, standing to his feet.

"We're coming with you." Rex stated back, following Skywalker to gear up. "You are staying here" Rex pointed to me sternly.

"You can't give me orders" I crossed my arms in protest. "But I was going to stay anyway" I slumped back in the chair as Rex walked away knowing I would be safe. "What do you see out there?" I asked the boys as they had entered the broken down shuttle.

"Over here. This is Tup's gurney." Anakin called them over to the site he had found "The restraints have been cut."

"The clankers took Tup? Why?" Rex questioned.

"They must be responsible for whatever's happening to him." Fives grew upset at the thought of them taking his brother.

"It's possible. All I know is they went to great lengths to capture him. And that means something." Anakin told them.

"We have got to get him back." Fives was determined to save his brother.

"Don't worry. We'll find a way." Anakin promised. "We are coming back, Lyra" Soon all three men were back in the shuttle and coming up with a plan to get Tup back safely.

"It will be just the three of us going in. The shuttle will drop us off just short of the main hangar, then we spacewalk from there." Anakin told his men the plan as I was put in charge of the shuttle.

"Are you picking anything up on Tup's locator?" Rex questioned me. I had been scanning the locator on a data pad from my seat while Rex peaked over my shoulder.

"I've got a faint signal, but it's hard to track. It's moving." I reported back.

"Then we better hurry." Anakin said. The men had geared up again and walked out into space for the second time today.

"I've got a better signal. Tup is heading this way." Fives took over the tracking as they walked out.

"They're moving him to the hangar." Anakin noted.

"Let's get out of here" I ordered the pilots of our shuttle, giving the men time to locate Tup without us being caught by the separatists.

"Lyra, head back to the ship" Anakin ordered over comms a few minutes later.

"Where are you?" I asked back.

"We have Tup and are on a shuttle. We will meet you back on the cruiser"

"See you then" I ended the transmission and instructed the men to return to the cruiser.

"I'll want a full report from Kamino. If Tup is the victim of some Separatist plot, we have no idea of how widespread it already is." Anakin ordered Rex and I as we were preparing to take Tup to Kamino.

"Permission to come with you, sir. He's my best friend. You may need help." Fives offered to Rex.

"But everything must be done by the book." Rex told him sternly.

"Understood, sir."

"You're to stay by his side at all times. I don't want any more slip-ups." Rex scolded.

"Yes, sir."

"Good. Let's go." Rex agreed to take Fives with us to Kamino.

"Medical frigate 517, you are cleared for departure." The cruiser announced and we took off into space.

"We are arriving on Kamino now, General," the pilot reported to me when I checked in.

"Thank you" I nodded, making my way towards the back to tell Rex and Fives.

"What's going on General?" Fives noticed me first.

"We are arriving now," I told them. "Get Tup ready to be taken in"

"Yes, sir" they both spoke in sync.

"Great, it's raining" I sighed, looking out of the shuttle as the ramp lowered. I had left my robe back at the temple meaning I would have no cover from the rain.

"Ready?" Rex asked as they pulled Tups stretcher out onto the ramp with me. I nodded and led the way through the rain into the facility. Fives chuckled at me while I wiped the water off my face that was now dripping with water. I sent him a glare before we began walking through the halls.

"You will have to say goodbye to your friend now." Nala Se told us as she pulled Tup away from our group.

"Yes, Doctor." Fives agreed sadly.

"Master Ti" I bowed my head slightly to greet her.

"General Jayko," she smiled. "Congratulations on your promotion to Jedi Knight"

"Thank you, Master" I smiled back warmly even though my body was frozen.

"General Shaak Ti." Rex took off his helmet to greet her.

"Captain Rex." She nodded to him. "Fives. Am I correct?" She faced the other clone.

"Yes, General."

"You've served with Tup?" She asked him.

"Yes." Fives answers.

"You must come with me." The Jedi master stated.

"With... With all due respect, General, I can't just abandon him now." Fives protested.

"You must let the doctors do their work. Do not be afraid. Your friend is in quite capable hands. Dr. Nala Se is the Chief Medical Scientist on Kamino. She was one of the primary engineers of all the clones. Now, we must take care of you."

"Me? There's nothing wrong with me, General. I'm perfectly fine." Fives claimed with confusion.

"We can't be sure of that until we've completed a full exam. If a virus was the cause of Tup's breakdown, you have more than likely been exposed to the contagion. You haven't entered the advanced stages yet, as Tup has, but any information we can gather from you could help to find a cure for Tup." She explained to him.

"All right, General, if it'll help Tup." Fives sighed.

"Captain Rex, General Skywalker has ordered you back to the war zone. You are to leave immediately. And you, Lyra will be sent back to the Jedi temple to rest your injury" she smiled down at me again.

"I'm sorry, Fives. I wish I could stay, but duty calls." Rex looked to his brother.

"It's fine, sir. Fighting a virus is a nice change of pace from all those clankers." Fives jokes lightly.

"Take care of yourself, and Tup." Rex patted him on the shoulder and put his helmet back on.

"Good luck, Fives" I waved him off as I followed after Rex.

"Ready for the rain again?" Rex looked down at me through the protection of his helmet. I simply glared up at him before ordering the shuttle crew to lower the ramp. "Smart thinking" the clone Captain commented, running through the rain to follow me as I raced back to the shuttle.

"Why does it always have to rain here?" I groaned, flopping down in a seat and pulling my hair back into a ponytail as it dripped water onto my already soaked robes.

"Well Kamino is known for its rainy weather" Rex smirked, pulling off his helmet and sitting next to me.

"I know" I turned my head to face him.

"Well, we should get you back to the temple now" Rex said.

"Rest up General, we'll need you for future battles" Rex waved me off as Obi Wan greeted me on the hanger.

"Save me a fight or two!" I called back jokingly.

"Welcome back" Kenobi greeted me as I fell into step with him. "The Medics would like to reassess your wound" he explained, guiding me towards the med bay.

"But Kix already fixed me up" I protested.

"Lyra--"

"I know, I know" I sighed.

"Excuse me General—" Rex started to Anakin.

"I have another task for you, Rex" Anakin started, cutting off the clone.

"What is it, sir?" Rex seemed suddenly down at the idea of being given another task.

"I need you to go check on General Jayko and keep her company until our next mission" Anakin smirked, knowing his Captain's special feelings towards me.

"Yes, sir" Rex agreed happily. He made his way through the temple until he found my quarters, taking in a deep breath before knocking on my door with a smile.

"I'm fine Obi Wan!" I called out as someone knocked on my door.

"It's not Obi Wan" a clone voice responded.

"Really Cody? He sent you to check on me?" I stood to answer the door.

"It's not Cody either" I opened the door to a smirking Rex.

"Rex, what are you doing here?"

"I was sent by General Skywalker to check on you and keep you company"

"Well I'm fine, doctors said I should be fully healed in a week or two and to take it easy on Coruscant until I can go back into the war"

"I'm sure it won't be that bad" he tried to make the best of the situation.

"You'd be surprised at how boring it is when you are forced to sit around all day while others are fighting a war"

"General Jayko, you are requested by the council" my Comm link beeped with a message from Kenobi.

"Yes Master, on my way" I replied. "Looks like that's my cue to leave. I'll see you around" I waved to Rex as I walked down the hallway.
