"Anakin! Tal Merrik is the traitor, and he's taken Satine hostage." Kenobi told us over comm link while sprinting through the halls of the ship.

"Copy that, but I've got problems of my own right now." Anakin said through his teeth to keep quiet as we both made our way through the dark cargo hold, sabers lighting our path.

"Cody, Rex, have you found anything?" I asked the men through comms.

"All quiet over here, sir." Cody replied. Moments later we heard blasters firing from their location. Running to the scene, Anakin cut the droid on Cody while I cut one off Rex and R2-D2 zapped the last one off Rex.

"Thanks, little guy." Rex nodded to the droid. He looked up and me and nodded again in thanks, not needing to vocalize it.

"Well, we found the little ones. What about the mother?" Anakin asked, looking around from where he stood.

"Haven't seen it." Rex shook his head. Suddenly as if on cue the large droid tackled Rex to the ground. The trooper kicked it off of him and it began to scale the walls. Anakin threw his saber with the force to cut off the legs so that Rex could destroy it fully. Rex pinned it under his foot and shot at the head, destroying all of the droids inside as well.

"We should help Master Kenobi" I looked to Anakin when I spoke.

"Yes, let's go" he ran off, leaving me to follow after him. We turned a corner to find Obi Wan running towards us fast.

"Did you find them?" Obi Wan asked in a rush, panic evident in his voice.

"No, but I've stationed troopers at every escape pod." Anakin reported.

"Merrik will try to signal his allies for help. We have to find him." We all rushed to the lift with Kenobi's words.

"This may not be the time to ask, but were you and Satine ever..." Anakin began to ask as I shook my head while it hung low, knowing this was definitely not a good time.

"I don't see how that has any bearing on the situation at hand." Obi Wan snapped suddenly at his former Padawan. When we got off the lift there were troopers running towards what seemed to be an incoming danger.

"We'll take care of this, Obi-Wan. You, go find your girlfriend." Anakin and I ran off to help our men in the fight.

"Right. No, Anakin, she's not my..." my Master began to protest but sighed and ran off to save Satine instead of wasting his time arguing.

"Need some help?" I asked as I ran up behind Rex and Cody who were taking cover and shooting the droids.

"Yes sir" Cody looked up to me.

"Alright I'll cover you while you guys shoot down those droids" I explained the plan. With a curt nod I stood up and began using both of my sabers to deflect the attacks, green lights swinging around me gracefully while Cody and Rex stood behind me shooting down the droids. Moments later Anakin ran in and slayed the rest of the droid army dramatically.

"All done" Anakin proudly claimed. I pushed my hand out, knocking the last droid back before it could shoot Anakin from behind. "Thanks" he looked back at the droid then to me in shock that he had forgotten one and it almost shot him.

"We need to help Obi Wan" I prompted, racing down the hall to where he was last headed.

"Come on, then. Who will strike first and brand themselves a cold-blooded killer?" Merrik questioned the duo. Anakin and I snuck up behind him discreetly to not reveal our presence. Satine held the man at blaster point and Obi Wan stood ready with his saber, neither one making a move. A gasp left my mouth as Anakin impaled Merrill from behind with his saber. I quickly regained my composure and used the force to grab the detonator as it fell to the ground.

"Anakin" Obi Wan began to scold, Satine throwing the blaster away from herself in disgust. I pulled the trigger towards myself and grabbed it carefully before opening the small panel and snipping the wire to deactivate it.

"What? He was gonna blow up the ship." We all relaxed at Anakins words, putting away our sabers.

"Obi-Wan, I..." Satine started as she stepped closer to him.

"General Skywalker, the last of the droids have been defeated, sir." Cody reached us with his report.

"Very good, Cody." I nodded to him.

"I must get back to the business of diplomacy." Satine put on her focused face once more.

"As you say, Duchess, some other time." Obi Wan followed her out of the hall.

"Ooh" Anakin joked from behind me.

"Now I can see why I'm the better of Obi Wan's Padawans" I teased.

"Come on, you ship it too" Anakin nudged me as we began to walk out. I let out a laugh in response, knowing that attachments were not the Jedi way, but it was something we could not fully control.

Soon enough we had landed back home on Coruscant. I walked off the ramp with Master Kenobi and Master Skywalker to be greeted by the supreme chancellor himself.

"A job well done, Master Jedi."

"Thank you, Chancellor." Obi Wan bowed to the man.

"Your Excellency." Anakin bowed as well.

"How ironic to meet again only to find we're on opposing sides." Satine approached us on the landing pad after Palpatine had left.

"The needs of your people are all that matter. They couldn't be in better hands with you to guide their future." Obi Wan told her while Anakin and I simply watched the encounter as we had been forgotten by the pair.

"Kind words indeed from a mindful and committed Jedi. And yet..." she drifted off, stepping closer with a sigh and look of deep thought.

"What?" He began to worry.

"I'm still not sure about the beard." She cupped his jaw gently.

"Why? What's wrong with it?" He asked her with a faint smile.

"It hides too much of your handsome face." She tells him before walking off.

"What was that all about?" Anakin laughed as I hit his arm.

"A very remarkable woman." I said.

"She is indeed." My Master agreed as he watched her go.

"Padawan Jayko, you will be going with the 212th to deliver relief supplies to a republic planet in need." Master Windu instructed as I stood before the council.

"Dress warmly you should, rain it will" Yoda advised me.

"Thank you Master" I bowed slightly before taking my leave. I grabbed my cloak and made my way to meet up with the others.

"Ready to go, Ly?" Anakin asked me when I joined him in the bridge. I gave a small nod in reply, watching as the blue lines faded in front of us.

"Why did we have to get the mission in the rain?" I complained to Cody when we were sent down to evaluate a situation on a rainy planet similar to Kamino. "Skywalker and his men are in the cruiser up there, why don't they come down and join us?" I continued to rant angrily as rain poured down on my head.

"With all due respect sir, the rain doesn't bother us clones. We grew up on Kamino and our armour prevents us from getting soaked." Cody explained to me.

"Well lucky you!" I stomped off in frustration to talk to the leader of the people who we had just delivered supplies to, leaving Cody to chuckle at my situation.

"Thank you for your help" the leader smiled kindly while my hood was up and I was holding my arms close to myself to preserve warmth.

"Of course, it is what the republic does" I replied. "If you are all set we will be leaving now" I nodded to them before walking off towards our gunship that had taken us down to deliver the supplies.

"Leaving so soon, Commander?" Cody taunted me.

"Shut up" I grumbled back, standing in the gunship as it flew us up to the cruiser above.

"Looks like we got you out of there just in time" Cody told me as I started shivering more at the sudden change in air temperature.

"Uh huh" I nodded back. Once the ship landed I quickly pulled off my cloak which was dripping and did nothing to protect my inner layers of robes. "Great" I sighed. Setting aside my cloak I realized I didn't have any time to change and dry off before I had to report to the council. I quickly made my way towards the command Center of the ship to contact the council, hair dripping down my back with my ponytail falling loose.

"General Jayko, your mission was a success?" Windu started the meeting.

"Yes Master, the supplies have been delivered"

"Good, return to Coruscant you will" Yoda gurgled in his old voice. The council ended the transmission and I hugged my arms around myself to keep warm.

"You're back" Anakin cheered upon seeing me as he and Rex entered the bridge together. "And soaking wet" he added after looking me over, a puddle dripping under me.

"Yeah well that's what happens when it rains"

"Someone is not too happy" Anakin whispered to his Captain.

"Sir, you should go to the med bay" Rex recommended, ignoring his Generals comment.

"Why? I'm not hurt"

"No, but the boys said it was cold when you left and my best bet would be that you are developing a cold from the weather"

"Since when did you get so smart in the medical field?" I questioned him with amusement.

"Since Kix had to lecture General Skywalker about the same thing when he got sick" the trooper replied.

"Very well" I sighed.

"Wait! Kix will you escort the commander to the med bay?" Rex called through his comm link.

"Yes sir, I'm on my way" the medic replied and soon enough he was walking me to the med bay to check if I had a cold and give me meds to help.

"What's wrong with Lyra?" Kenobi questioned Anakin protectively as he watched me exit the gunship back on Coruscant with a blanket wrapped tightly around my shoulders and a scowl set on my face.

"She came down with a cold, sir" Rex answered for his General.

"How long is this going to last?" My Master worried for my safety and my patience of being on bed rest.

"Kix prescribed her to bed rest for three days and told her to stay warm and drink tea to help it go away faster" the Captain explained some more, having known all of this from when Anakin had developed a cold.

"Very well" Obi Wan sighed, knowing I would be out of commission for a few days to rest up. "At least she will handle it better than Anakin"

"Hey!" Anakin went to protest but Kenobi was already making sure I made it to my room safely.
