Rachael just started letting me know about the pack, how are the pack members and everything. I enjoyed her company a lot.

We spent the whole day just talking and getting to know each other. We were so engrossed in our talking that we didn't expect it's already dark outside.

She waited for some time waiting for the return of either Calder or Ryder but no one returned. So I assured her that I will be fine and she doesn't have to worry about me.

Finally she believed me and left. About one hour later, Calder returned.

"Do you want to have dinner?" I asked.

"Yes. I will just freshen up." He replied.

I nodded towards his answer and waited for him. When he came I served us the dinner and started eating calmly.

"How was your day?" I suddenly asked.

"It was good. Your's?"

"Not bad. Rachael said she will show me around the village. And she said Ryder may accompany us." I said immediately regretting taking Ryder's name.

I hope he is not going to stop me.

To my surprise he said "You don't have to go with them. I will show you around."

I blinked few times making sure he actually said that then asked "Won't you be busy?"

"No. So be ready by 9'o clock itself as it will take us lot of time to cover up entire place."

I nodded feeling excited. May be this is what we need to spend time together and make our bond stronger like our wolf's side.

After finishing our dinner, we called it night and went to our respective rooms.

I fell asleep with a smile on my face looking forward for tomorrow's tour.

Next day I was completely ready but one thought struck me.

So I asked him "We should inform Rachael right that I am going out with you?"

"Don't worry I already informed Ryder so we don't need to." He replied.

I nodded as we took his car to be a little more comfortable to explore around.

He slowly showed me mostly every single detail of the pack village. I can sense the pride in his voice when he was telling me.

We stopped at certain places where he wants to show me something more about those places.

He even took me to a small diner where we ate our lunch. The food was simple but delicious.

We even get to know each other somewhat. He was slowly opening up, maybe not too much but at least a little.

Like I said baby steps...

At some point I asked him to just take a little walk around as were sitting in the car for more than half day.

He was reluctant at first but gave in.

We both started walking slowly looking around and taking in beautiful and pleasant atmosphere.

When we turned around the corner where there are many shops filled with quiet a lot of people. Everyone watched him and bowed to him and was looking at me with questioning looks.

But I didn't miss some girls dagger looks towards me and flirt looks towards him. Some even winked at him, even though he caught the action he didn't say anything.

He urgently told me that we need to return as he has some work to do.

I just nodded and we walked towards his car and got in.

The ride was filled with silence. My mind filled with questions and his I don't know.

The whole day my wolf was very happy and jumping in joy that she got to spend the time with our mate.

When we reached his house he said "Rachael is already inside waiting for you as I asked her to. I will return in few hours."

"Ok. Is Ryder also here?" I asked.

"No and I forgot to say that he is not your protector anymore. My Third in command will return tomorrow and he is going to be your protector from now onwards." He replied.

With that he sped off. I slowly went inside the house where Rachael is already waiting sitting on the couch.

When she saw me, she reached towards me and gave me a hug. "How did you enjoy your tour?"

"It was good. But is it true that Ryder is not going to be my protector anymore?" I asked.

"Yes. Jack is going to return tomorrow so that's why." She replied.

It's ok until that 'Jack' is as friendly as these guys. There was something nagging me and I want to ask her but what if she doesn't answer me. But anyway what would I lose by just mere question.

"Can I ask you about something?" I asked her nervously.

"Ya sure."

"You know when we were roaming, there are some girls sending flirt looks and winks towards Calder and daggers toward me. Why?" I asked.

She seems reluctant but after looking at my pleading face she sighed and said "It's not my place to tell you but I am, so I hope Alpha will not kill me. So anyway you see he is I mean was a player. You know what I mean right so some of them may be those acquaintances of him."

After hearing this I have thin pain filling my heart, of all I could get as a mate 'A player'.

I guess she could see my pained expression so she squeezed my hand and said assuring "Hey look that's all in the past, now he got his mate. You know right, for us werewolf's finding their mate is equal to getting married. So it's like you both are married now and he would never cheat on you."

I smiled at her but deep inside I thought 'I hope so I really hope so'

When he returned, Rachael bid her goodbye.

I went inside our dining room when he went to get freshen up. I didn't talk to him throughout the whole dinner.

When I was about to leave the room he suddenly asked "Is everything ok?"

I nodded and just was about to leave again but he hold my wrist and the tingles appeared where he touched.

He pulled me towards him and trapped me between the wall and him without leaving any option for me to escape.

"What happened?" He asked me again slowly.

"Are you still a player?" I asked him looking straight at his face.

I can tell that he was taken aback by my direct question but composed himself and said "No. I am not still a player."

I was so happy by his answer that I had a big grin on my face.

Something flicked in his eyes and I didn't even have chance to analyze as he suddenly crashed his lips on mine roughly.

I just couldn't move and stood still. After recovering I too kissed him back as it got deepen, electricity had passed all over my body.

When I was out of breath he released me but started trailing kisses along my jaw then to my neck. I couldn't help but moan his name.

My wolf was surfacing and loving every second of it. He too growled appreciating at my moaning.

Suddenly I know what is going to happen, he got to the spot where he would mark me and licked there as if asking for my permission but I couldn't help but moan.

He took it as a 'yes' and the next thing I know he got his teeth sunk into my skin. I can't even explain how I felt at that movement it was like I was on fire. And there is some bond appearing between us. After he got satisfied with his mark, he retrieved his teeth and licked the mark to clean the blood and I couldn't help but moan loudly.

After that he gave me one long hard kiss and pressed his forehead to mine and said "Now you are mine and everyone can see that." Possessively.

When I looked into his eyes, I saw that they are pitch black. His wolf has surfaced.

I still felt jelly in my knees so I held on to him from falling down.

"Let me carry you to your room." He said.

I nodded as I don't even think I can say anything.

He carried me in bridal style to my room and laid me on my bed. After giving me a quick peck he said "Good night. Sleep well."

"You too." Those were the first words I said to him after smiling at him.

He too gave me a half smile and left the room.

I can only think about one thing, I finally got marked.

But what if it is too quick?.........
