*Amelia Pov*

I woke up suddenly due to the sounds coming from somewhere, when I first opened my eyes I was confused about the surroundings. Then I remembered that I am now living in Calder's house.

 Silly me, I am totally in mood to laugh at myself but now is not the time as there are still noises coming from downstairs maybe some robbers entered the house and robbing.

 But come on who dare to rob in alpha's house of course unless it's human because they don't know about alpha and all.

I think I have to save the house now. I took a vase near me and started going downstairs. It's past midnight. Does robbers don't have any time sense they just disturbed my sleep.

What if there are more people? Can I save the house and more important question can I save myself?

I can do it. I hold my breath and by tiptoeing I went to the living room. No one is there but there is a light coming from kitchen. And where the hell is this Ryland, he is my protector right but just left me and went away idiot.

What are robbers doing in kitchen maybe they are just hungry. I nervously tiptoed towards kitchen, there is a silhouette present but I know the wonderful smell entering my nose.

Shut!! He is not a robber he is my mate.

If I didn't have smelled him I would have hit him. I totally forgot about the smell each mate get after meeting their mate for the first time. So that we can know that our mate is near us without seeing them.

 He smells like a coconut but how does I smell.

 As I forgot about that smelling thing that's why I didn't know that he was the one standing behind me near ice cream shop yesterday. Now I will never forget.

Thinking all this I didn't see that Calder turned towards me. When I saw him he is standing there with a raised eyebrow at me.

 Then I realized that I still have vase in my hand raised over to hit. I laughed nervously and put the vase on the kitchen counter.

I looked at him he turned around again and went on searching the cupboards. Trust me it is not a good search. The whole kitchen is in chaos. What is he searching?

When did he return? May be that's why Ryland is not here like he told he will be here until Calder comes home.

I asked him the obvious question, "Are you hungry?"

He turned around and nodded. Can you please talk to me I asked him in my mind. May be he got that message and said "I would have asked pack's cook, but she is not feeling well. So I am searching for any food."

If this is how he searches then I don't know what he does for destroying. I am also hungry so I said, "I will find and fix something for us. Why don't you take a seat at dining table?"

"Ok." He said and went to the chair.

Now what is there to cook? There are not many items in the kitchen to do the task. Tomorrow I need to buy some groceries. Ha!! for now of course pasta. I started cooking it; it's very easy so it didn't take much time. I took two plates and forks divided the food and placed the plate in front of him. I sat across the table and waited for him to start eating.

He looked at food and me and said "you know how to cook." Isn't it obvious by the food in front of him? I just nodded. He started eating it and me too.

We both completed ours; I took our plates for cleaning. I got a doubt and asked "Does anyone come for cleaning the house."

"Yes, weekly once." He said.

I can't let the kitchen stay like this for the whole week. I have to clean it now.

"Ok I will clean it and then I will sleep." I told him.

"Uhmm ok. I have some work I will be at my office." He said.

I nodded and turned toward kitchen and started picking up all the utensils. He cleared his throat behind me. I turned around and looked at him. He said "Food is good."

I just smiled at him. He started going towards his office and I too started cleaning the kitchen.

After what seems like hours, the work is done and I am tired. I returned to my room and fell asleep.

When I woke up again its 9'o clock. I got up from my bed and started freshening up. After that I choose a simple top and jeans. After getting ready I got a call from my mom asking whether I am up or not. Jeez mom seriously have some trust.

My friends too called me. After few minutes, I went downstairs.

Calder was sitting on the sofa thinking something. "Shall I make breakfast." I asked him.

He nodded. I started making some pancakes batter and made them for both of us.

We both sat down and about to start eating when Ryland entered the kitchen. He nodded his head towards Clader and did the same with me.

Seriously?? I am not going to spare this so I said "Good morning Ryland."

He looked at me and then clader and nervously said "Good morning Luna."

"Ryland I told you not to call me that. I asked you to call me by my name isn't it?" I asked him.

"Yes Luna. I mean Meli." He told me nervously.

"Come on I made some extra breakfast why don't you sit down and eat. Did you have your breakfast." I asked him.

"No Meli. Rachael is angry at me that I didn't let her meet you yesterday. So she didn't made any breakfast." He told me in his normal behavior totally forgetting about Calder. Now this is what I am talking about.

I served him some pancakes and he immediately started eating them. After eating them he said that "Wow Meli, they are delicious. Now I hope that Rachael doesn't make me breakfast every day."

"Ya you can even hope that I forget to not unlock the house door when you come home every day." A voice came from the entrance.

Ryland gulped the food and got up walking toward the person. I can't see her as Ryland is blocking the view. "No sweetheart I was just joking you know. You make the best food in the world." He told her nervously.

She just passed him and came near me. She is beautiful; there is pureness in her eyes. She is skinny and tall not too tall but tall.

She smiled at me and took a piece of pancake from Ryland's plate. After eating it she just had a big grin on her face and said "If I can eat this food every day I hope Ryland forgets to bring any groceries to home at all. It's delicious Luna. Where did you learned to cook?"

She just kept on asking me questions. "Thank you. I learned from my mom. And please call me Amelia or Meli. I suppose you are Rachael."

"Yes Meli. And we are going to get along too well. I will be going to be your first friend in this pack." She told me excitingly.

Ryland came towards us and said that "Sorry sweet heart to break your heart, I am Meli's first friend."

Rachael said that "Don't lie Ry. I am her first friend."

"No I am her. If you don't believe ask Meli." He said and they both turned towards me.

"Sorry Rachael but Ryland is my first friend." I told her.

Out of nowhere we heard a growl. We all turned towards the sound and saw that is come from Calder. Ryland and Rachael were looking like about to pass out. And I was looking confused.

Clader cleared his throat and said "I am going towards pack's office. Ryland I need you with me I have some work."

Ryland nodded and they both went away. After that Rachael and I were sitting at the table and talking about our friends and school life.

Rachael turned towards me and said "I hope alpha is not very angry to hurt Ry."

I asked her "Why would he hurt Ryland?"

She told me that, "Mates are very possessive right. And alpha mates go over the top for possessiveness."

"Yes, so. What does that have to do anything with Ryland." I asked her confused.

"You are not understanding. You said that Ry is your friend right so that's why he growled. Simply we can say that Alpha is jealous."

Ohh!! So Calder is jealous.......
