Woke up this morning with a gigantic smile. It was Saturday, no classes, no work, no stress.

I decided to get in touch with Marissa last night but didn't because I fell off to sleep. Tiring day.
I sent her a quick text:

Hey bestie. Missing you so much. How's all? x

Knowing Marissa, she must be either asleep or still at a party. I crawl out of bed and stretch my body, yawning as I do.

Soon as I throw my phone back on my bed, it beeps signalling a new text.

Kaia bear i miss u so much. Hv 2 meet soon. I h8 SU already. Too much work. Hw r u? xoxo

I can almost hear her nagging voice calling me Kaia bear. That's been my nickname since I was 11, from both her and my family.

I've been gud jst missing you and home a bit. WCU is great. Managed to mke friends surprise surprise! xx

I decide to text Ash. Find out what he's up to. In a friendly, not flirty way. What even?

Morning Ash. Are you up?

There. That sounds friendly enough. Ha!

There was an instant reply. Guess he's awake too.

Good morning love. I jst got out of the shower. Fancy some breakfast? xx

Wow. I'm amazed you're awake! I thought you lot slept in on Saturdays lol

Ha! Ha! Well I got up early and cleaned up my room a bit. Since I'll be hving you over a lot mre I'll hv to keep it up to ur standard xx

OK what just happened? I was only supposed to say good morning. Great. I don't know how to act. Wait, why am I blushing? Oh shit.

I grab my shower gear and run to the showers as quick as I can. It felt like a record shower, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes but I made sure to shave and shampoo my hair. I should really start waxing or something.
After i felt like I was clean enough, I turned off the shower, grabbed my towel and hurried out. God I hope he doesn't come out of his room while I'm running to mine.

I reached my door safely and looked into my toiletry bag for my key.
I started digging around and began to panic when I couldn't find it.
Oh my God. No, no, no no nooooo!

I knelt down outside my door and emptied everything out of my toiletry bag, now everything was scattered on the hallway floor. I just couldn't find my key.
I turned my bag upside down and shook it hard.

Suddenly a small silver key fell out onto the floor. I picked it up and kissed it. Oh yes. Thank goodness!

I picked everything up and shoved them back into my bag.
I slowly stood up and adjusted my towel. Just as I was about to shove the key in and open the door, I heard a low voice from behind me. I shrieked and dropped my towel and toiletry bag. OH MY GODDDDDDDD!!!??!

Holy shit holy shit Oh my God!!!!

My face is burning red as I quickly bend over to pick up my towel and wrap it around me.
I don't dare look up, my face is so red a tomato would call me family. I'm so damn embarrassed. I don't say a word to Ash, I just shove my key in and open the door. I step inside and close it without looking back. I can't face him. He must be laughing at me. He will probably tell everyone. My life is ruined. I'm never leaving this room again. I'll probably transfer to another room later. I'll never see Ash's face again. Ever.

"What's going on?" Dani asks, sitting up on her bed. She rubs her eyes as she looks at me waiting for a reply.

"I'm too embarrassed to tell you" I answer her.

"Hey come on, it can't be that bad!" She says.

I take a deep breath and slowly exhale. She waits patiently for me to speak.

"Okay, long story short I couldn't find my key and when I finally did, Ash gave me a hell of a shock and I may have accidentally dropped my towel. Accidentally" I said, hanging my head in shame.

"Okay Kaia, and why do you look like you're about to die?" Dani says, getting up from her bed.

"I don't know. Guess I'm embarrassed. Totally not gonna speak to him ever again" I said as I head over to my closet and put on a pair of jeans and a casual top.

"Don't say that Kaia. Your body is beautiful, there's actually nothing to be ashamed of. If he saw it, I bet he'd want to see it again, not run for the hills" Dani says to me with a big smile.

I loved her smile. It was so genuine and kind. You could tell if she really cared for you or not, just by her smile. Best roommate ever.

I lay back on my bed and think of what to do today. Breakfast is the last thing on my mind right now. Dani's gone out for her morning run. I should be more like her, then maybe clumsy, embarrassing things won't happen to me. I sigh and close my eyes, trying to disappear from reality. I wish I could turn back time and not text him at all this morning. It would save me from humiliation. Thank heavens there weren't any other students outside or I'd be the talk of the school by now. Viral and all.
I'd probably cry for a year if that happened.

My daydreaming is suddenly interrupted by a loud knock on the door. I make my way over and twist the knob, unlocking it.
Standing there with takeaway coffee and food is Ash.
He had an apologetic look on his face. I had to let him in. Right?

I move aside and he steps in, setting the takeaway on my study table and handing me my coffee. He takes the other one for himself.
I look at him and smile.

"Thank you" I muttered.

"Anything for you, gorgeous" He said with a wink.

He took my hands in his and looked into my eyes. I didn't know how to react because I didn't know what was going on. Gulp.

"What happened this morning, it's alright. I just wanted to say I'm sorry! I shouldn't have snuck up behind you like that. I left you feeling embarrassed and I apologize love" He says, still looking deeply into my eyes. What is he searching for?

"I wasn't planning on ever speaking to you again. Honestly. I was too embarrassed Ash" I said quietly.

"You don't have to be embarrassed angel, you're so beautiful, too beautiful - even for me. And me seeing you in your natural form makes me want you more, your body is perfect and I'd love to see more of it again, with your permission this time".

He cups my cheeks with his warm hands and kisses me gently. I think of everything he just said and respond to his kiss almost immediately. I run my fingers through his hair as he lifts me up and places me on my study table.

As we break away breathless from our passionate kiss, there was a look on his face that said that he wanted to further what we had right now but he quickly shook it off.

I got off the table and sat on my bed. Ash sat on my chair.

"We should probably eat now, coffee's getting cold too" I suggested.

"Oh, of course" Ash answered, passing me a chocolate croissant.
