We followed the indented path that led beyond the world as we knew it. The cold, crisp air that floated all around us was refreshing keeping us awake and alert for trouble.

"Yah look tired maybe we should stop and rest. Yah only got wee legs y'know." Flapped Bruce who looked more tired then us put together.

"Alright... but just a quick rest. These tracks aren't going to be here forever." I called out to everyone.

Flicker, Bell and Ember slowly fell to the ground exhausted from the walk we had just done.

A lot has happened since Dust, mum and Dad have gone. I still can't believe Bubble's alive.... I mean he shouldn't have survived. He doesn't deserve to live. I thought bitterly to myself.

"What's the matter Flame?" Asked Flicker tilting his head to the left.

"Nothing, everything's fine. " I lied.

"Ok." Responded Flicker quietly.

I walked over to a tree that was closest to everyone and started to climb it half heartedly. Before I would have climbed it easily but now I just didn't care anymore.

As I climbed to the top I could see our journey wasn't over yet because the tracks went off into the distance with no signs of stopping.

The grass was parted, it was flat but a very deep colour of green. The tree's had lost clumps of leaves so they looked diseased and deadly, and there was weird holes in the ground that looked like they were homes of other pokemon.

"Look!!! Over there!" I called out to everyone, "Those holes!"

"Can we look at them in the morning?" Yawned Bell bearly opening her eyes.

"No we can't, so get up!" I grumbled without patience.

"Come on, he must have a feeling about this or something." Whispered Ember to the other two.

As I jumped down from the hollow cracked tree to join them on the ground Bruce landed right in front of me. I tried moving to the left but he mirrored my every move.

"What?! What do you want, hm!?" I bellowed, a little bit to loudly.

"Don't go over there. I know what yah gonna do so don't. Hop back into that tree and forget about em stupid holes." Warned Bruce in a very serious but strong tone.

"You don't know what I'm going to do because I haven't done it yet." I sneered, thinking I sounded clever.

"Listen to meh don't. " Bruce came closer to me so I backed away.

"Can you please stop coming closer! Personal space you know." I yelled in a weird voice.

"Fine go!! See for yah self. But I did warn yah." With that Bruce flew high into the sky and landed on the furthest tree away from us.

"Wow, what was all that about?" Questioned Flicker looking over at Bruce's darkened figure.

"Ah he just told me not to stay up to late. No big deal." I lied again.

"Oh ok so, what did you want us to look at again?" Bell said rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Those holes." I answered moving my whole body in the hole's direction.

"Well let's go. The sooner we have checked it out the sooner we can go to sleep." Ember moaned.

As we went closer to the mysterious holes I felt Bruce's eyes burning into my back.

Maybe this isn't a good idea.....
