Out of all the kids, Madalyn was the first to wake up the next morning. She woke up from the sound of her alarm on her communicator telling her to wake up. It was 8:00am. "Man, what a night." said Madayn. 

Madalyn looked around and noticed that Jack, Miko, and Raf were still asleep. She got out of her sleeping-bag, and quietly walked over to a mini fridge next to the TV, and pulled out yogurt drink. Then she sat on the couch and turned on the TV, but kept to the volume down so she wouldn't wake the others. About half an hour later, Optimus, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Arcee walked in to Ratchet's medic lab, and Optimus walked inside the energon healing chamber, and Ratchet strapped him in. 

"Hey guys, whats going on?" asked Madalyn. 

"It's Optimus' last check up. Ratchet's gonna see if he's fully healed from the Cybonic Plauge." answered Arcee. 

"That's THIS morning?" said Madalyn acting all shocked. She turned off the TV, and woke up the others. "Guys wake up!" she tugged on Raf, Jack, and Miko's shoulders. 

"Huh? What's up?" asked Raf as he put on his glasses. 

"Is Optimus' check up starting now?" asked Jack. 

"Yes, come on!" said Madalyn. 

Jack and Raf got out of their sleeping-bags, and the three of them ran towards Ratchet's lab. But then stopped and turned back to see Miko still in her sleeping-bag. They sigh at each other then walked back to the TV area. They picked up each of their pillows then threw them at Miko's head. "Miko, wake up!" they all shouted. 

Miko heard them then shot up from her sleeping back pushing the pillows off her. "What! What! I'm up! I'm up! I'm up!" yelled Miko. 

The boys laughed then they ran over to Ratchet's lab. 

"Miko come on, Optimus' check up is starting soon, we can't miss it!" said Madalyn. 

"Well, why didn't you say so?!" said Miko as she ran past Madalyn, and caught up the the boys while Madalyn followed behind her.

Ratchet brought out a flashlight, turned it on, and shined it upon Optimus's right optic. "Follow the light," commanded Ratchet "Good, good. I wouldn't advise anything strenuous Optimus, but it appears that your systems have fully recovered from the Cybonic Plague." 

"Yes!" said all the kids as they high fived each other. 

Ratchet opened the metallic strap and let Optimus out. "Thanks to your medical expertise, old friend." said Optimus with a smile. 

"It was your scout who ventured in unknown territory to collect the cure." explained Ratchet. 

"Beep beep beep bop bop 'I can't take all the credit. Madalyn and Arcee helped.'" said Bumblebee while waving his hands. 

"Lucky for us Megatron was still alive." said Arcee. 

"Beep beep beep bop? 'You really said that?'" asked Bumblebee. 

"Yeah, I actually said that." answered Arcee.

 "What matters, is you are on the mend Optimus. While Megatron.." before Ratchet could finish, Bumblebee interrupted him. 

"Beep beep bop bop bop beep beep bop 'Actually, Madalyn and Arcee gave Megatron the final blow.'" explained Bumblebee. 

"Bee said that you and Arcee finished off Megatron. You remember that?" asked Raf. 

Madalyn nodded at Raf "Yep. Bee's right." answered Madalyn. 

"We did our best to finish Megatron's story. Just couldn't stick around long enough to see how it ended." said Arcee. 

As Jack, Miko, Raf, and Arcee chatted with Optimus and Ratchet, Madalyn noticed Bumblebee leaving the room. Being worried and curious, Madalyn followed him into the hallway. She saw his pupils in his optic's turn smaller then he had an angry expression on his face all of a sudden, and he was looking at his hands. "Bumblebee?" asked Madalyn. 

Bumblebee's optic's went back to normal and turned, and looked down at Madalyn. "You alright?" asked Madalyn. 

"Beep beep bop bop beep 'I'm fine, just a slight headache.'" said Bumblebee. 

"Huh? Sorry, I forgot I couldn't understand you." said Madalyn. 

Bumblebee thinks for a moment then give's Madalyn a thumbs up. "Thumbs up? Oh! That means your alright. That's good. Hey, wanna play Basketball with Me, Bulkhead, and the others?" asked Madalyn. 

"Beep beep bop? 'Whats basketball?'" asked Bumblebee as he shrugged. 

"Oh? You don't know how to play? Come on, We'll teach ya!" said Madalyn as she waved at Bumblebee and walked out of the room, while Bumblebee followed.

"Basketball, by way of Cybertron! Let the games begin!" Miko cheered as she blew her whistle and the game started. 

Miko was up on the cat walk being a referee so she could get a good view of the game, while Madalyn, Jack, and Raf sat on a ledge of a big circular vent to watch the game. Bumblebee spun the giant metal ball on his finger then tried to make the shot, but Bulkhead caught it then he shot it into the basket. 

"Yeah! Go Bulk!" cheered Miko! 

"You got this Bumblebee!" said Madalyn while fist pumping. 

Bulkhead picks up the ball and faces Bumblebee, a smirk plastered on his faceplate. "Come on,best two out of three!" said Bulkhead as he tossed Bumblebee the ball. 

Bumblebee runs towards the basket while dodging Bulkhead's attack. "Bee! Your in the clear!" yelled Raf ."Dunk it Bee!" 

"Focus Bee! You got this!" cheered Madalyn. 

Bumblebee stopped in front of the basket and he just stood there. 

"Come on Bumblebee, quit hogging the ball!" said Bulkhead. 

Then out of nowhere Madalyn as Bumblebee's pupils in his Optics shrink again then he threw the ball at Bulkhead. "Whoa!" said Bulkhead as he ducked and the ball smashed into the wall.

Miko slid down the ladder while blowing her whistle. "Ang! Flagrant fowl!" 

"Heh, dodge ball by way of Cybertron." joked Jack. 

"Bee, the hoop's over there!" said Bulkhead as he pointed to the basketball hoop. 

"Beep beep bop bop bop beep 'What? Sorry, still getting used to this game.'" said Bumblebee.

"Bee? You ok?" asked Raf. 

"Beep beep bop bop bopbeep. 'I'm fine. How about we try again, this time three out of five?'" asked Bumblebee while showing the kids three of his fingers meaning three out of five.

 "Yeah, no problem. Three out of five."said Raf.

The next day, Madalyn was talking to Raf on her cellphone. "Hey Raf, have you noticed Bumblebee has been acting weird lately?" asked Madalyn. 

"I don't think so. He seems fine to me." answered Raf. 

"It's strange though. The entire day yesterday, every once in while I see the pupils in Bumblebee's optic's shrink. Then right after that he does something he wouldn't do. Like the thing that happened in the basketball game." explained Madalyn. 

"He's probably not feeling fell or something. I gotta go now. My mom wants me to get ready for school." said Raf. 

"No problem. I'll let Bee know, that he has to drive you to school, bye." said Madalyn as she hung up her cell phone. "Speaking of Bumblebee, where is he?" said Madalyn talking to herself "Okay, I really need to stop talking to myself!" 

Just then Bumblebee walked into the command room where Madalyn was, but he didn't pay any attention to her. "Bee! There you are! What have you been doing, should you be driving Raf to school by now?" asked Madalyn. 

Then Bumblebee stopped walking and faced Ratchet's flashlight. Then his pupils shrank again and he walked over to the flashlight and picked it up. 

"Uh, Bumblebee? What you doing?" asked Madalyn as she walked closer to him. 

Then out of nowhere, Bumblebee crushed the flashlight in his hand. Madalyn stops in her tracks, and gasps while watching Bumblebee crush the flashlight. 

"Bumblebee!" said Ratchet as he came walking into the room. Bumblebee's optics went back to normal and he turned to face Ratchet. 

"I needed that!" said Ratchet. 

"Beep? 'Huh?'" said Bumblebee. 

Madalyn could tell Bumblebee had no idea what was going on. 

"What has gotten into you?" asked Ratchet. 

"Beep bop beep beep beep bop bop beep beep bop 'Ratchet, this is gonna sound weird, but I'm seeing Megatron in my head.'" explained Bumblebee. 

"Your seeing Megatron's face?" asked Ratchet. 

Madalyn gulped after she heard the name. "Megatron? Oh no..."

A few hours later, Madalyn picked up Raf from school and they arrived back at the Autobot base. Bumblebee was locked inside the metal strap, then he powered down. Optimus and Ratchet were checking his stats. 

"So, what's wrong with him Ratchet?" asked Madalyn. 

"Bumblebee is complaining about intermediate visions," explained Ratchet "Waking nightmares, if you will." 

"But, you said Bee was fine when you checked him over yesterday." said Raf. 

"Physical he's fine, but the experience he endured seems to be having a effect on his mind. This power down will allow Bumblebee to rest and recover." explained Ratchet. 

Madalyn puts her hand on Raf's shoulder and looks down at him. "Don't worry Raf, it looks like Bumblebee is going to be okay." said Madalyn. 

Then they all hear an alarm go off in the communications area of the command center. Ratchet opens the transmission, to reveal Special Agent Fowler. 

"What's the situation dad?" asked Madalyn as Optimus helps her up onto his shoulder. 

"Prime! You've seen any Decepticons wearing hola skirts lately?" asked Fowler. "No special agentfowler. Why?" asked Optimus with a edge in hisvoice. "Did you get hit in the head with a coconut or something?" asked Madalyn. "Not funny! And no. Anyways, I was hoping you would have a lead on the Cons' who busted into the Kawhian Navail Observatory. The place looks like it got hit by an army of wreaking balls!" explained Fowler. "Why would Cons' break into an observatory?" asked Arcee. "Does the Hock-Negoesion ring any bells?" asked Fowler. "Didn't it used to be at the air and space museumin washington?" asked Madalyn. "Yeah, it's the space telescope." answered Raf as he walked next to Optimus."As of last night, its missing its primary lense." explained Fowler. "It's difficult to find Starscream intentions without knowing where the lense has been taken." said Optimus. "Good thing it come's with a tracking device." explained Fowler.

Fowler brought up the lense's tracking system and onRatchet's computer it shows where the lense's is. "The Arctic?!? Great! Another chance to freeze our sparkplugs off!" said Arcee."Another chance?" asked Madalyn giving Arcee a funny look. "I'll explain later."said Raf.Then the computer screen brings up the location of a nearby energon mine. "Whoa, thats a MB7 class! The biggest unminable energon deposit there is!" said Bulkhead. "Unminable, untillStarscream melts his way down to it." said Optimus. "With the help of the lense." finished Arcee. "Melting a glacier that size will cause sea levels to rise and demolish coastalcities." explained Fowler. "Not good. What do we do Optimus?" asked Madalyn. "We stop Starscream frommelting the ice. Arcee, Bulkhead, your with me." ordered Optimus she set Madalyn down beside Raf"It is bestifthe rest of you stay here and watch over Bumblebee." "You got it bigguy!" said Madalyn as she and Rafgave him a thumbs up. "Autobots! Roll out!" said Optimus as Ratchet opened the ground bridge, andOptimus, Arcee, and Bulkhead transformed and drove through the bridge. Madalyn and Raf walked back to Bumblebee, who was powered down and they say next to him. "You think, Bumblebee will wake up in time to help the others?" asked Raf. "We'll seeRaf, we'll see." answered Madalyn.

Afew minutes later, Raf was telling Bumblebee a story about him racing his two older sister's in a video game, while Madalyn sat next to him and listened. "So I speed past the finish line,then my other sister Palora asked how I got so goodat racing games. And I told her I know a guy who knows cars." explained Raf. "Ha, ha, spoken like a true pro."said Madalyn "What did you think Bee?" Madalyn and Raf looked up at Bumblebee, then Ratchet walked towards them. "Rafael, Madalyn, I'm afaird Bumblebee can't hear you two in power down mode. It's getting late, why don't I bridge you two back home?" asked Ratchet. "That ain't happening Ratchet. We promised Bumblebee we'd stay." said Madalyn. "Besides, he's family too." said Raf. "Don't be rediculas, your not even the same species!" said Ratchet. "Thats being related. It's not the same thing. Here, I'll show you." said Raf as hetook out his cell phone and brought up a picture of his family and showed it to Ratchet. "This is my family." said Raf. Ratchet kneels down and looks at the picture. "Hmm, yes thats very nice." whispered Ratchet. Madalyn heard him, then gave him a serious look and crossed her arms. "Ratchet!"whispered Madalyn as she nodged her head towards Raf telling Ratchet to listen. "Very large! Sometime's Ican shout and nobody hears me." said Raf. "Yes, yes, yes, yes." whispered Ratchet. "Ratchet!"again whispered Madalyn while placing her hand on Raf's shoulder. "But Bumblebee always listens." said Raf. Ratchet had a shocked look on his face, then he smiled down at him. "Atta boy!" whispered Madalyn as she winked atRatchet. "And I can understand him. Im not sure why, but I do." said Raf.

A afew more minutes later, Madalyn and Raf had both their laptops out, and they were playing computer games. Then Ratchet walked over to them holding his broken flashlight. "Madalyn! Rafael! I'm going to the supply vault to try to findparts to repair this. You two know what that means?" asked Ratchet. "Don't touch anything."answered Madalyn and Raf. Ratchet walked away while Madalyn and Raf got back their computers. "Wait till you see this cool new laptopIm saving up for Madalyn." said Raf. Then Madalyn heard some beeping noises then looked up atBumblebee and noticed he was back online, but with his shrinked optics. "Uh,Raf. Bumblebee's optic's is doing the thing again!" said Madalyn. "No way, Bumblebeeis in powerdown, he'd have to be..." before Raf could finnish he too looked up at Bumblebee and saw that he was awake. Then Bumblebee walked out of the metal strap chamber and walked towards the ground bridge. "Uh Bumblebee?" asked Madalyn. "Bumblebee wait!" said Raf as he and Madalyn followed him to the ground bridge, as Bumblebee entered a set of cooridinates and walked through the ground bridge. Then Ratchet showed up behind the two kids. "What did you two do?" asked Ratchet. "We didn'tdo anything!" answered Madalyn. "Bumblebee just got up and..." before Raf could finnish, Ratchet interupted him."But he's in power down! Wheredoes he think he's off to?" asked Ratchet.
