"Guys! You will not believe what I found!" yelled Madalyn as she and Cole drove in on his motorcycle. Madalyn hooped off the bike, took off her helmet and ran straight up to the TV area where Jack, Bumblebee, and Raf were. "What's up Madalyn?" asked Jack. "A friend of mine sent me this photo of Bumblebee on Twitter! She got it from that conspiracy website we found earlier." explained Madalyn as she showed Jack and Raf the picture. Cole ran up the stairs to catch up with her sister. "Right when we found it, we came straight here. Think you can get rid of it Raf?" asked Cole. "No problem. It's a peice of cake." answered Raf. Madalyn and Cole gathered around at the couch and watched Raf log into the website and got to work. "Removing Bumblebee, and replacing him with...." said Raf as he deleted the photo and replaced it with.... "Gangnam Style?!? Dude that is genius!" said Cole. "Looks like PSY strikes again!" commented Jack as he and the other's highfived each other, while Bumblebee signed in relief. "Bumblebee's sightings are no laughing matter!" said Ratchet while working. "Hey, I just realized, where's Miko?" asked Madalyn. Jack pointed next to Ratchet, and Madalyn say Miko and Bulkhead laying on the floor stretching their legs out. "7, 8, 9,..." counted Miko as her and Bulkhead's leg's lifted up and down, then Bulkhead let it drop. "Why can't I just drive from now on?" asked Bulkhead in annoyance. "Because your legs will atrophy if you choose not to use them." answered Ratchet. "Yeah Bulk', you gotta keep your strenght up. Faster you do this, the sooner you'll get your legs back." pointed out Madalyn. "Ugh, fine." replyed Bulkhead. "Ok, let's try again. 1, 2, 3..." said Miko as she and Bulkhead continued training. "Wait, what's that?" asked Jack. Raf zoomed in on a new picture on the website. "Is that...?" asked Cole. "A Cybertronian escape pod!" finnsihed Raf. "What?!?" asked Madalyn as she ran back to the laptop to see the photo. Optimus and Arcee walked in when they heard the news. "Here in Earth's atmosphere?" asked Raf. "Raf, put it up on the big screen." said Madalyn. "You got it." replyed Raf. Raf pressed afew keys on his laptop and the photo appeared on Ratchet's computer screen. "Autobot or Decepticon?" asked Arcee. "Impossible to tell given the image's ressolution." answered Ratchet. "In any event, this meret's investigation." said Optimus. "Could be a trap. And were down one bot. Should we reach out to Wheeljack?" asked Arcee. "I can hear you!" yelled Bulkhead. "I don't care if Bulkhead isn't combat ready! After at revenge stunt he pulled with Miko, Wheeljack can stay rouge!" protested Ratchet. "I'll go." suggested Madalyn. Optimus nodded in agreement. "An Autobot may be in distress. Ratchet, bring your medical kit." ordered Optimus "And prepare a ground bridge." Ratchet got his things together and activated the ground bridge. "Go smash some 'Cons sis!" said Cole. "You know it bro!" replyed Madalyn as she brofisted her brother. She ran down the stairs and met up with the Autobots. She activated her communicator and transformed into Aura. "Autobots! Transform and roll out!" ordered Optimus. The Autobots and Madalyn transformed into their vehicle modes and drove through the ground bridge.

Madalyn and the Autobots transformed into robot mode with weapons at the ready once they reached the other side of the ground bridge to arrive in a forest. They found a trail that was filled with energon with the crashed escape pod at the end of the trail. "Whoa. I've never seen one of these before." said Madalyn. They walked towards the escape pod and stoped infront of it. Arcee wiped off some of the dirt to reveal the Decepticon insignia. "It's of Decepticon origin." said Optimus. "And the 'Con inside blew his way out." added Arcee. "Which means he could be on the lose somewhere." added Madalyn. Then out of nowhere, coming from the left side of the group, was energon blaster fire. They turned to be face to face with a charging group of Vehicons and Insecticons. "We got company!" yelled Madalyn.

"Take cover!" yelled Madalyn as she and the Autobots hid behind some boulders while firing back at the Decepticons. "All those 'Cons came out of one pod?" asked Arcee. "Humans refer to the phenomina as a clown car!" said Ratchet. "Couldn't have said it better myself Ratchet!" commented Madalyn. An Insecticon came flying, and transformed into his robot mode and charged at Optimus. "Prime! 12 O'clock!" yelled Madalyn. Optimus looked straight to see the Insecticon running for him. He dodged it's first attack, then blocked a punch with his sword, sliced him in the chest, then Madalyn shot him in the chest, sending the Insecticon flying back. "Excellent stradegy Aura." said Optimus. "No problem. I got the one's over here, you take care of the rest." replyed Madalyn. Optimus nodded in agreement, then ran in the opposite direction, blasting more insecticons in sight. Then Madalyn heard the cry of an Insecticon, and saw Ratchet up against a boulder with an Insecticon almost on top of him. "Oh no!" yelled Madalyn "Arcee! Alittle help!" Madalyn and Arcee charged then punched the Insecticon in the face. Then the Insecticon grabed them and lifted them up into the air. Arcee and Madalyn kicked the Insecticon in the face, and got out of the Insectcon's grip with a back flip. Bumblebee joined them to finnish him off with blaster fire. Once the Insecticon was down, more 'Cons started coming. "I got the one's up front!" yelled Madalyn. As the rest of the Autobots fell back alittle, Madalyn ran towards the energon trail from the pod and took out the vehicons there, with some punches, kicks, and strikes with her daggers. But once she took down the last vehicon that was up in the front lines, she got hit in the back from one of the vehicons on the otherside of the trail. "Ahh!" yelled Madalyn in pain as she fell to the ground face first. The vehicon that stroke her, ran towards her and aimed his blaster at her face. "Down in front!" yelled an unknown male voice. Out of nowhere, blaster fire came in and shot down the vehicon that had Madalyn pinned down, and then a new transformer finnished him off with a jump kick, saving Madalyn's life. He was white with 2 car doors as wings, a blue chest plate, and red outlines across both sides of his face and over his head. "Friendly?" asked Arcee. The unknown transformer shot down almost every vehicon and insecticon in sight. "Stay behind me!" said the mech. Madalyn simply looked up to him and nodded. "Who is he?" thought Madalyn. Then an Insecticon came charging at them in it's bug mode shooting lasers at the new mech and Madalyn. "Look out!" yelled Madalyn. The transformer saw it coming, so he picked up Madalyn in his arms and back fliped in the ai to dodge the Insecticons charge attack. He sat her down, then began shoting at the insecticon. But one of his blasts bounced off the Insecticons shell, and landed in the energon trail, setting it on fire. And the fire started spreading towards the pod. "Not good!" said Madalyn. "Fall back!" ordered Optimus. Madalyn, the Autobots, and the new transformer ran for cover behind a series of giant rocks. Just as the new mech got in for cover, the pod exploded. Destroying all Decepticons and Insecticons in the area. Once the Autobots amerged, there was blue fire everywhere. The new transformer got up on one of the rocks then looked around at the battlefield. He then brought up a smile on his face and started cheering. "Whoo! Too hot for ya 'Cons?" taunted the transformer. "Friend of yours?" asked Ratchet. "Beep bop bop beep 'Nope, I don't know him.'" said Bumblebee. "Never seen him before." said Arcee.

The new mech jumped down from the rock infront of Arcee, Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Madalyn. "Um, thanks for the save back there." said Madalyn. "No problem. Torching that energon leak. Pretty good plan right?" said the mech. "Except it wasn't your plan. It was a lousy shot that almost blew us to a chrisp!" replyed Arcee. "Worked out didn't it?" asked the mech. "Thank you, fellow Autobot. Your valor, is to be comended." said Optimus as walked towards him. The mech turned to face Optimus and his face just lit up with excitement and shock. Like he was meeting a celebraty. "I, I don't believe it! Your Optimus Prime! He's Optimus Prime!" said the mech excitedly. "We know." said Arcee. "Yes, yes, yes." said Ratchet annoyingly. "Beep bop bop beep bop beep 'We've know this for like forever!'" said Bumblebee. Madalyn giggled alittle at the mech's excitement. "This guy is kinda cute, for an Autobot." thought Madalyn. "What is your name soldier?" asked Optimus. The mech saluted at Optimus. "Smokescreen, sir!" answered Smokescreen. "Welcome to Earth, Smokescreen." said Optimus as he extended his hand. "It's an honnor to be here. Especially with you." replyed Smokescreen as he shook Optimus's hand. "Fan boy much." thought Madalyn. "Now what?" asked Ratchet "It's not like we could just bring him back to base!" "Wouldn't be the first time an allie turned out to be a plant." added Arcee. "She's right, with the incident with Wheeljack, and Nemesis Prime." said Madalyn. Optimus examined Smokescreen carefully. As Madalyn took a quick glance at Smokescreen, she noticed that he had a different Autobot insignia than the other Autobots. "Optimus, we does he have a different Autobot insiginia?" whispered Madalyn to Optimus. Optimus looked at Smokescreen's shoulder to see the insignia at striped wings on each side of the symbol. "I see that you recieved your training in Cybertron's Elite Guard." said Optimus. "Elite Guard?" thought Madalyn. "True enough. But it wasn't much of a boot camp by the time I got there. Never even got a proper graduation ceremony." explained Smokescreen. "You didn't graduate?" asked Madalyn. "There was a war going on." pointed out Arcee. "Hey, all I wanted was to be a soldier. Serve the Autobot cause. But what I got, was security detail at Iacon." explained Smokescreen. "No way!" said Madalyn with a shocked look on her face. "The Iacon Hall of Records of all places! Optimus, don't you find this highly suspcious?" asked Ratchet. "Smokescreen, if you don't mind me asking, but, what was your assignment in the hall?" asked Madalyn. "Guarding Alpha Trion which turned out to be the final days of the war." answered Smokescreen. "You served under the master archivist?" asked Optimus. "Yeah, but I wasn't thrilled at first, guarding an old bot, instead of kicking Decepticon tailpipe!" said Smokescreen as he punched his fists together. Everyone gave him a blank expression. "Sorry. But the big A turned out to be a great teacher, and a true friend. I mean, he was the one who paticioned Halogen in the high council to make you a Prime!" explained Smokescreen. Optimus and Madalyn had shocked looks on their faces. "Whoa! You know about that?" asked Madalyn "What do you think Optimus?" Optimus thought about it for a moment, then opened up his comlink. "Rafael, activate a ground bridge." ordered Optimus. "That's it? That's all you need to hear before inviting him to be party?" asked Arcee. "If my former mentor shared this information, it is because he considered Smokescreen to be a trusted allie." answered Optimus. The ground bridge opened up behind them, and Ratchet, Bumblebee, Arcee, and Optimus were the first to leave while Madalyn and Smokescreen followed behind. "Guess your coming with us." said Madalyn "Follow me." "With pleasure." replyed Smokescreen as he smiled at her. They both walked through the ground bridge just as it closed, with Madalyn leading the way.

Once they all arrived back at the base, Miko was just beside herself. "We haven't a new bot here since Wheeljack! What's your story Smoke? Where did you come from? How'd you get here? How many blaster's you packing?" asked Miko excitedly as she ran up the stairs to join Jack, Raf, and Cole. "Whoa Miko, take a chill pill!" said Cole. "These are the lifeforms were suppost to protect?" asked Smokescreen. "Yep." answered Madalyn. "Are they all like this?" asked Smokescreen. "Fortanitly not. But I too share Miko's fasication of how you came to arrive on Earth." answered Ratchet. "In a Decepticon escape pod." added Arcee as she crossed her arms. "Still got trust issue's huh?" asked Smokescreen. Madalyn just shurged her shoulders. "Tough crowd. Anyway, the main thrust of combat operations were at least 20 clicks from the Hall of Records. So things have been pretty quite. But the situation went downhill fast. The 'Cons's launched a massive surge that wiped out the whole last line of defenses surrounding Iacon. I was the only thing left to hold them back. And let me tell you, I was pumped. I mean, this was my first real chance to see real action for the first time, to prove myself! Untill everything went black. The 'Con's took me prisioner and dumbed me onto a transport ship. But I managed to give the guard the slip, and hooped into an escape pod. Of course it was a long distance pod, cause it knocked me into stasis. Next thing I knew, I'm hitting solid ground. Hard." explained Smokescreen. "The Decepticon Warship must have picked up the pod's beakcon and guided it to Earth." said Ratchet. "Which would explain Smokescreen's welcome comity." added Arcee. "Heh, guess the 'Cons were dissapointed not to find one of their own inside." said Madalyn. "Smokescreen, do you know of Alpha Trions fate? After the fall of Iacon?" asked Optimus. "I wish I did. But that was the last time I saw him." answered Smokescreen sadly. "Oh no..." whispered Madalyn. "That's it. My life story. Not the exact glory I invisioned for myself. Untill now! Being here with Optimus Prime! I know I was destined for great things! I mean, now that you have help, how hard could it be to end this war?" asked Smokescreen. Right at that moment, every heard a small screching metal noise. They looked up to the entrance of the base to see Bulkhead walking inside, dragging his right foot. "Take a good look nooby. This is how hard!" said Bulkhead. "Thank you, Bulkhead." thought Madalyn sarcastically.

"Smokescreen, I would suggest that you take some time to become aclomated to your new surroundings. A tour of the base, would be an excellent start." said Optimus. "No problem! I got that covered!" suggested Madalyn. Her autobot insignia started blinking, and the blue flash of light appeared, making Madalyn transform back into her human form. "Whoa! That's amazing! An Autobot who can transform into a human?" said Smokescreen as he knelt down next to Madalyn. "Actually, it's the other way around. I'm actaully a human who can transform into an autobot. Thanks to his watch Ratchet and Optimus hooked me up with. So I could help them out in the battlefield." explained Madalyn. "Whoa, seriously? Kicked any Decepticon tailpipe?" asked Smokescreen. "More than you know." answered Madalyn "Come on, let's get started on that tour. Jack! Care to help me out?" "Uh, sure thing." answered Jack. Jack, Madalyn and Smokescreen walked out of the command center and into the hallway.

"Over there is our energon supply chamber, weapons vault, repair storage room, all that cool stuff." said Madalyn "And down here, is were we keep our relics." Madalyn, and Jack leaded Smokescreen down the hallway showing him all the relics they've collected so far. "We got the Phase Shifter, Spark Extractor, and the Imobilizer. Just like Madalyn said, this is were we keep hidden relics buried here on Earth." explained Jack. "And talk about a small universe, because most of them came from the Iacon Hall of Records." said Madalyn. "Hall of Records huh? I remember these." replyed Smokescreen as he looked through the window door that had the Phase Shifter inside. "Oh yeah? Quiz time! What does the Phase Shifter do?" asked Madalyn. "Allows you to pass through solid objects." answered Smokescreen. "Spark extractor?" asked Madalyn. "Destroys every spark in it's radious." answered Smokescreen. "Oh your good." commented Madalyn with a smirk. "Why thank you." replyed Smokescreen smiling. They continued walking untill Smokescreen stoped at another of the vault doors. "Whoa! What kind of relic is she?" asked Smokescreen. Madalyn looked through the window to see inside was the stasis pod Airachnid is trapped in. "Trust us when we tell you, the kind you don't wanna mess with." answered Madalyn. Smokescreen looked at Madalyn then back at Airachnid and shuddered. "Kinda creepy." said Smokescreen. "Definatly agree with you on that one. Let's keep moving." said Jack as they continued the tour.

"Madalyn, report to the command center." said Optimus through Madalyn's communicator watch. "Copy that, Optimus. On my way." replyed Madalyn. "You go ahead Madalyn, I can handle the rest of the tour." said Jack. "Alright thanks Jack. I'll see you later, Smokescreen!" said Madalyn as she waved goodbye and ran back to the command center. "What's the situation guys?" asked Madalyn as she walked in to the command center. "Check out what we found!" said Raf as he pointed to Ratchet's computer screen. "Let me guess, another Bumblebee sight..... What is that?!?" asked Madalyn. "Red energon. An extrememly rare form of energon. Refined into fuel, it revives the power of hyperspeed." explained Ratchet. "Super speed? You serious? Wow." said Madalyn. "We must have Agent Fowler clear the dig site of all human presence." said Optimus "In the event we are not the only ones who have discovered it's location." "Now your talking!" said Smokescreen as he and Jack walked back in the command center. "Let's go scramble up some 'Con curcuits!" cheered Smokescreen as he punched his fists together. "Smokescreen, given your limited field experence, I believe further training is required before you are battle ready." suggested Optimus. "Optimus, with all due respect..." said Smokescreen. "Further more. We Autobots live on this planet as robots in dusguise." added Optimus. "You'll need to obtain an earth based vehicle mode." said Madalyn. "In order to keep a low profile. If that's posible for you." explained Arcee. "If your talking wheels, bring them on!" said Smokescreen.

"With the red energon making it's apperance here on earth, we'll need to spilt up. Madalyn, you come with me, Arcee and Bumblebee in securing the red energon." explained Optimus. "You got it." replyed Madalyn while giving him a thumbs up. "Jack, you will help Smokescreen aquire his earth based vehicle mode." said Optimus. "No problem." replyed Jack. "Autobots! Transform and roll out!" ordered Optimus. Ratchet opened the ground bridge, and the Autobots and Madalyn transformed into their vehicle modes and drove off through the ground bridge. They arrived at the other side to find themselves at a ship docking bay. The 'bots transformed into robot mode and transformed their hands into blasters. They walked towards this giant crane, and at the top attached to the hook, was a metal cage crate, with the red energon inside it. "There it is!" said Madalyn as she pointed to it. "Fowler couldn't have the crane operater lower the thing?" asked Arcee. "The humans must have been preparing it for transport when they received Agent Fowler's evacuation order." answered Optimus. "Run along home, Autobots!" yelled a familiar voice. The Autobots looked straight ahead of them to find, Starscream. "Starscream! He's back!" thought Madalyn. "That red energon has by name written all over it!" said Starscream as he placed a metal plate onto his chest, and the Apex Armour transformed all round him. "Oh no, not the Apex Armour, again!" complained Madalyn. "Heh, heh, heh, and I am more than willing to fight for it." added Starscream with an evil smile.

Starscream got into a battle stance and glared at the Autobots. "What's the plan?" asked Madalyn. "Secure the red energon and have Ratchet bridge it back to base." said Optimus. Madalyna and the other's nodded and ran off towards the side of the crane. They found a flight of stairs that led to the top of the crane. "Looks like we climb from here." said Madalyn. Arcee went up first, then Bumblebee, then Madalyn. Once they were half way up Madalyn heard a crashing noise and Starscream yelling. "Don't tell me you'v forgetton our last encounter Prime?!" yelled Starscream. Madalyn and Bumblebee stoped climbing to see Optimus in a pile of metal crates. "Optimus!" yelled Madalyn. "Bee! Aura! Keep moving!" said Arcee. "Right." said Madalyn as she and Bumblebee continued climbing up the crane. Once they made it to the top, the crane started shaking alittle. "Whoa! What the?" said Madalyn. They looked down to see Starscream climbing up the crane. "The higher you climb the harder you fall!" threatened Starscream. "Beep bop bop beep bop beep 'I'll hold him off! You guys get the red energon!'" said Bumblebee. "Got it!" said Madalyn as she and Arcee ran to the end of the crane where the hook and the crate was located. Madalyn climbed down to the handle bar of the crane, and tried to reach out and grab for the cable attached to the crate. "Come on! Come on!" said Madalyn. "Ugh, Aura?" asked Arcee. They both heard metal footsteps, and looked to see Starscream standing over them. "Time to unload some more dead weight!" said Starscream. At the corner of her eye, Madalyn found Optimus climbing up to the top of the crane next to them. He jumped off and landed a hard punch on Starscream, knocking him down, off the crane. Madalyn swung out of the way of Starscream's fall with the handle bar, and watched him rip open a hole in the cage with the red energon, and holding a tight grip on it. She watched as Starscream only managed to grab hold of a small chunck of red energon before losing his grip and falling to the ground. "Ahhhh!" yelled Starscream as he crashed to the ground.

Optimus helped Madalyn back up on the crane, then grabed a hold of the cable attached to the crate. He started pulling it with all his might, but then the crane shock abit. "Whoa! Now what's happening?" asked Madalyn. She looks down to see that Starscream has riped off and lifted up one of the supports for the crane. "Oh man, not good!" yelled Madalyn. "Watch your step, Autobots! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" taunted Starscream while laughing like a maniac. He lifted the support higher and higher, making the crane rock back and forth harder and harder, and faster, and faster. "Brace yourselves!" yelled Optimus. Just as Madalyn grabed on a metal beam to stop from falling, she saw a ground bridge open up near the crane. Out drove a white racing sports car with double 38's on the door's of the cars. "Is that... Smokescreen!" said Madalyn. "Look's like no one defined low profile for him." commented Arcee. Smokescreen transformed into his robot mode as Starscream put down the crane support and turned to face him. "So the Autobot's have a new recuirt?" said Starscream. "And you must be Starscream." replyed Smokescreen "I thought you'd be taller." "Oh! Burn!" said Madalyn. That made Starscream alittle mad. "This, will not end well." said Arcee. "Smokescreen! Stand down! You are no match against the Apex Armour!" warned Optimus. "Any last words, Smokescreen?" asked Starscream. "Just four." answered Smokescreen "Kiss your armour goodbye!" Then Smokescreen's right wrist started lighting up with a light blue light, and he charged at Starscream. "Huh?" said Starscream. Then Smokescreen jumped into the air and kicked Starscream. But, he and Starscream litterally phased right through the armour, with Smokescreen kicking Starscream out, and sending him flying to the ground, with Smokescreen landing on his feet behind the armour. "A phase shifter?!?" said Starscream in disbelief. "A phase shifter." said Madalyn. "Now that, was a plan!" cheered Smokescreen as the armour fell to the ground lifelessly. "Alright Smokescreen! Whoo-hoo!" cheered Madalyn. "Ugh." sighed Arcee in annoyance. "What?" asked Madalyn "What'd I say?" "You aren't the only one with sporting fancy wrist mounted device!" yelled Starscream "Think fast!" Starscream shot one of his wrist missles at the crane were Madalyn, Arcee, Bumblebee, and Optimus were. "Brace yourself!" yelled Madalyn as she raised her hands to cover her face and brace for impact. The missle hit the crane and a giant explosion noise came on. "No!" yelled Smokescreen. With that oppurtunity, Starscream grabed the small chunk of energon and ran off. But as far as Madalyn knew, she heard the explosion, but she didn't even feel it. No pain, no nothing. She slowly opened her eye's as the dust cleared, and saw a giant blue shield surrounding her, Bumblebee, Optimus, Arcee, and the entire top of the crane. She looked down to her hands and saw that they were glowing bright blue. "Did, did I do that?" asked Madalyn in shock. She moved her hands away and formed them into fists and the shield slowly dissapeared. "Nice work Romanoff." said Arcee smiling. "Hey! You guys ok up there?" asked Smokescreen. "Were fine Smokescreen! What about you?" replyed Madalyn. "I'm alright. But Starscream got away." said Smokescreen as he turned and looked at the unarmed Apex Armour.

After afew minutes, the Autobots arrived back at base. Madalyn transformed back into her human mode and sat on Optimus's shoulder. "Told you I just need to borrow it for awhile." said Smokescreen "Doc here thought I was trying to steal your relics." Ratchet swiped the phase shifter out of Smokescreen's hand. "What? No way!" said Madalyn with a smile. "Only untill you explained your plan. Which I then granted. Alittle thing called protocall." explained Ratchet. "Ratchet is correct. Standard procedure must be heard by every member of this team." said Optimus. Smokescreen lowered his head in dissapointment. "However, I think we should also comend Smokescreen." said Madalyn. "Madalyn is right, you have proven to be a quick study. By choosing to place stradegy above brovado." explained Optimus as he placed a hand on Smokescreen's shoulder. "There is gonna be no living with him now." commented Arcee. Madalyn couldn't help but giggle at the comment. "While this may lack the pathentry of a proper Elite Guardsmen graduation ceromony, I wish to welcome you to Team Prime." said Optimus. "Yeah! Let's hear it for Smokescreen!" cheered Madalyn. "Heh, heh, thanks guys. This means alot." said Smokescreen.
