"You think Starscream survived the fall? These ice shelf are miles deep. And it's a long swim back to the states." asked Madalyn. "Who knows. But for now, lets focus on the other three relics. I just hope the others had better luck than we have." replied Optimus. "Think of it this way, we may have lost the Apex Armour, but at least we defeated Starscream. And we got on Dreadwing's good side..... sorta." explained Madalyn. Then their was call coming in through their com-links. "Optimus! Madalyn! You guys there?" asked Raf in shock. "Were here Rafael." answered Optimus. "Raf, what's wrong?" asked Madalyn. "It's Bulkhead! Something happened to him! He's in really bad shape! I, I, I don't know if he's going to make it!" explained Raf nervously. "Bridge us back to base! Imediatly!" ordered Optimus. Rafael activated a ground bridge for Optimus and Madalyn, and they both ran through it as fast as they could.

Once they arrived back, Madalyn transformed back into her human form. She and Optimus watched as Arcee and Bumblebee carried him off the the medical bay, with Ratchet already inside to prepare for surgery. Agent Fowler was holding Miko back from Bulkhead. As Bumblebee and Arcee carried Bulkhead off, she saw a missle like hole in the middle of his back, with small clouds of smoke coming out. "Bulkhead....." whispered Madalyn "What happened?" "Tox-N exposer." answered Fowler. "A toxic energon?" thought Madalyn. "Nooo!" yelled Miko as she got out of Fowler's grip "If I haven't gone to New York...." "There's nothing you could have done. Hardshell sucker punched the big lug while he was down." explained Fowler. "Who?" asked Miko in anger as she turned her head to Fowler. "Some insecticon, It doesn't matter." answered Fowler. "Miko listen, it's not your fault, you got that?" asked Madalyn. "Got it." answered Miko as she turned back to watch Bulkhead in the medical bay. Jack, Cole, Madalyn, and Raf regrouped with her to give her support. "It's going to be ok Miko. Ratchet's a genius at this kind of stuff. I'm sure he'll fix him up in no time." said Madalyn. The kids, and Agent Fowler watched as Ratchet, Optimus, and the other Autobots kept an eye on Bulkhead and began the operation.

(1 hour later)

"Madalyn! We'll need your assistance." said Ratchet from the medical bay. Madalyn got up from the couch at the TV area, and ran down the stairs to the medical bay. Bumblebee helped her up to the computer inside the room. "What do you need me to do Ratchet?" asked Madalyn. "She if you can reach Wheeljack. We all agreed that he, might want to see him." answered Ratchet. Madalyn nodded and got to work.

~Scanning for Wheeljack~

~Wheeljack online. Connecting to him now~

The computer screen brought up a chatroom like window up on the screen. Without a second thought Madalyn got to work typing.

Madalyn: Wheeljack, this is Madalyn from the Autobot base. We need you to get here on the double.

Wheeljack: Hey kid, it's been awhile. What's the trouble?

Madalyn: It's Bulkhead..... He's in critical condition. He got beat up pretty hard from an insecticon, aswell including exposed to Tox-N.

There was a short pause on Wheeljack's side. Madalyn could tell that Wheeljack took the news pretty hard. After all, he and Bulkhead are best friends.

Wheeljack: sit tight, I'm on my way. Be there soon.

~Messaging terminated. Scan complete~

"Wheeljack is on his way." reported Madalyn. The others turned to her and nodded in reply. "I can't believe your giving up on Bulkhead already!" yelled Miko. "Whoa, whoa, it's not like that Miko. Bulkhead and Wheeljack are close. We thought he'd wanna be here." explained Madalyn. "I know what you meant!" replied Miko as she began walking away. "Miko, where are you going?" asked Optimus. "Home! While Agent Fowler can still give me a lift." answered Miko as she frustratedly walked into the elevator and left the base. "Miko, wait!" said Madalyn as she began leaving, but Optimus stoped her. "She needs time." said Optimus. "I know, I just wanted to make sure, that she doesn't do the wrong thing." explained Madalyn. "What are you saying?" asked Arcee. "Let's just say, that I've been in a simular situation, where Miko was." explained Madalyn.

An hour has past, and Ratchet was putting the finnishing touches on Bulkhead's operation. Madalyn was sitting on a giant white cube at the entrance of the medical bay watching Bulkhead. "It's happening again....." thought Madalyn "Not again."

FLASHBACK

Madalyn was sitting in a waiting room at a hospital. She was all by herself. She got up from the chairs and walked down the hallway and into one of the patient rooms,to find a man in his early 40's hooked up to life support and everything. She watched as the man's head turned towards her own to meet her gaze. He gave her a comforting smile to let her know that everything was going to be fine. Madalyn tried to hold back a few tears and smiled back while walking towards the hospital bed. "Dad..... What happened to you?" asked Madalyn. "Just, had a little trouble at work honey. replied her father as he coughed "Don't worry kid, the doctors are taking good care of me." "But with you in the hospital, who will take care of me and Cole? I want to stay here with you, dad." said Madalyn. "I know you do darling. I know. But don't worry, I had the nurse call up Uncle William. He'll watch over you and Cole while I'm here." answered her father. Madalyn took her father's hand and held it tight. She didn't want to leave her father's side. Not now. Not while he was in so much pain.

BACK TO REALITY

"Madalyn? Are you alright?" asked an unknown voice. Madalyn escaped her flashback and returned to reality in the Autobot base, to see Arcee staring at her. "Huh?" replyed Madalyn losing her train of thought. "You alright? You seem, quite." asked Arcee again. "Yeah... I'm alright." answered Madalyn as she got up from the cube and walked next to Optimus "How's Bulkhead?" "Bulkhead is stable, at the moment. But I've had to induce stasis." explained Ratchet. "Well, it's a start of good news." thought Madalyn. Just then they all heard an engine noise, and saw Wheeljack drive into the base and transform into his robot mode walking into the medic bay. "What's the damage doc?" asked Wheeljack. "Bulkhead's suffered massive trama to his central nerual condueit." answered Ratchet. "I've watched you work. Your a mistro." commented Wheeljack. "The Tox-N exposer has caused system wide shutdown on a submicronic level. I can't even begin to operate untill he regains some strengh." explained Ratchet. Wheeljack nodded then looked up at Optimus. "You gonna tell me who did this to him?" asked Wheeljack. "At the moment, I believe it is best that we focus our attention on Bulkhead's recovery. Rather than revenge." replyed Optimus. Wheeljack looked around then back up at Optimus. "You do that." said Wheeljack and began walking away, but stoped near Madalyn and knelt down next to her. "Thanks for the call." said Wheeljack. "Your welcome. I'll, um, keep you posted." replyed Madalyn. Wheeljack smiled, then gently patted her on the head. He transformed into his vehicle mode and drove out of the base. "Wheeljack will most likely do something rash, you know." said Ratchet. "And I am not sure if we could stop him if he wanted to." replyed Optimus. "He's, he's out getting revenge." whispered Madalyn.

FLASHBACK

'Revenge' 'Revenge' 'Revenge' That was the one word that was going through Madalyn's head that day, as she and Cole watched the news back at their house. Fowler was keeping an eye on his neise and nefphew while his brother was in the hospital. "Miliatry and Police force personal are still searching for the man responcible for the attack on major Lennoz Kendrick." said the news reporter. "I can't believe no one has found this guy yet!" yelled Madalyn as she got up from the couch. "Madalyn, calm down." said Cole. "Calm down? Calm down?!? Cole, our dad was attacked! How can Inot calm down?!?" said Madalyn. Fowler hugged his neice. "Listen to me Madalyn, I know how you feel, I've seen many soilders and their family in these type of situatins. But revenge won't solve anything. It will only cause more trouble. The peaceful thing to do would be to put him behind bars, not hunt the guy down, and elminate him. Our best and only option is to have faith in your father. Can you do that?" explained Fowler. Madalyn sniffled then wiped a few tears of her face and nodded at her uncle. "Good. I love you, Madalyn." said Fowler. "Love you too Uncle Will." replyed Madalyn.

BACK TO REALITY

"Madalyn, you doing alright?" asked Raf. "Yeah, you don't seem like yourself sis." said Cole. "Oh, hey, it's nothing. Just, thinking about, stuff." answered Madalyn. Cole looked at her sister with a worried look, then turned to Raf. "Hey Raf, can you give me a moment alone with my sis?" asked Cole quitely. "Sure thing." replyed Raf as he got his laptop and walked over to the computer area. Cole moved other to sit next to his sister. "Come on Maddie, what's wrong?" asked Cole. "Nothing, it's just that, I'm worried about Bulkhead that's all. I mean, what if he, you know..." said Madalyn nervously. "Your worried the fate that happened to dad might happen to Bulkhead, aren't you?" answered Cole. Madalyn simply nodded. "Hey, I'm worried about Bulkhead too. But you know that's not going to happen. He's got Ratchet fixing him up. You've seen him work." said Cole. "I know, it's just, ever since I first met the 'Bots, I got to know them alot. To me they're more than friends. They're family. And just thinking about it, I would be devistated if something happened to one of them. And now when I see Bulkhead, I keep getting flashbacks of us, seeing dad at the hospital, and how upset I was when we saw the news report back at home when Fowler was watching over us. It's just I, never ever want to go through that again. Esspecially with the Autobots." explained Madalyn. "I feel for you sis. I really do. I'm just glad, even that was a pretty grim moment, you pulled through. And if you can do it then, you can do it now, for Bulkhead." replyed Cole. Madalyn smiled at her brother then gave him a huge. "Thanks bro. I need a good cheering up." said Madalyn. "Anytime sis." replyed Cole as they bro-fisted.

"Any word from Miko?" asked Madalyn. "No not yet. I've tried calling her, and sent her a couple texts, but no answer." answered Cole. "Hmm, you don't she, left with Wheeljack?" suggested Madalyn. "What? I thought she got a lift home from Fowler." replyed Cole. "Let me make a call and find out." said Madalyn as she got out her cellphone and dialed Fowler's number. "Fowler here." answered Fowler. "Dad, have you seen Miko, she said she'd get a lift home from you early." asked Madalyn. "I haven't seen her since I left the base for New York." answered Fowler. "Alright, just checking, thanks dad." replyed Madalyn as she hung up the phone "He hasn't seen her." "You mean she didn't go home?!?" asked Cole. "Right. That means, she must have gone with Wheeljack to hunt down hardshell!" stated Madalyn. "That, is not good." said Cole. They both ran over to the railing overlooking the medical bay, where the two of them found Optimus, Ratchet, and the rest of the Autobots. "Optimus. We have a problem." said Madalyn.

"I've found Miko's cell phone signal. But It's not in Jaspear, or anywhere in Nevada." said Ratchet. "I knew it. She followed Wheeljack, and must have told him it was Hardshell who hurt Bulkhead." stated Madalyn. "I've also detected a Decepticon singal. It appears to be.... Hardshell." added Ratchet. "He and Wheeljack must be going out in an all out brawl." said Cole. Madalyn looked at the computer screen, then looked over at the groundbridge. "You want to go after them, don't you?" asked Optimus. "I do. But I'm not going after Hardshell. I'm going to bring Miko and Wheeljack back. For Bulkhead." replyed Madalyn. Optimus nodded then turned to Ratchet. "Ratchet, lock on to Wheeljack's ship's coordinates, and activate a ground bridge, for Madalyn." ordered Optimus. Ratchet nodded and walked over to the ground bridge controls and pulled down the lever. The ground bridge opened and while running through, Madalyn activated her communicator and transformed into Aura.

Aura arrived at the other side of the ground bridge next to Wheeljack's ship in a canyon dessert. Straight ahead afew feet from her, was Wheeljack laying back first on the ground, with Hardshell looking down on him. "Your spark shall now belong to Lord Megatron!" threatened Hardshell as he raised his fist into the air. "Wheeljack no!" yelled Madalyn. Just then, Wheeljack's ship started to lift up into the air and hover in mid air. It launched two missiles, and they were a direct it on Hardshell, blasting him off of Wheeljack. The ship then decended back to the ground. Madalyn ran to the front of the ship, and looked through the front window to see Miko in the driver seat. Madalyn sighed in relief to see Miko was ok. Then she remembered Wheeljack and ran straight for him and knelt down next to him. "Wheeljack! You alright?" asked Madalyn. She helped him up, while brushing pieces of Hardshell off of him. "I'm fine." said Wheeljack, then he looked over to his ship to see Miko at the front window "Nice work kid." Then his face lit up and he faced Madalyn again. "Wait! What are you doing here?" asked Wheeljack. "Getting you and Miko out of here before getting into too much trouble. But it looks like you guys beat me to it." explained Madalyn. Wheeljack smiled at her as he sat up. Then they both heard stomping noises and they both looked up at the top of the cliff to find a hord of Insecticons. "We got company." said Madalyn. "Wheeljack! Aura! Run!" yelled Miko from the ship. Madalyn grabed Wheeljack's arm and placed it around her shoulder's and neck to help him run back to the ship. As they ran, they heard the cries of the Insecticons and thm flying towards them. Madalyn got Wheeljack back into his ship as Miko jumped back into the passenger seat. "I thought I told you to hit auto pilot!" said Wheeljack as he sat in the driver seat. "Bad things happen to 'bots when I leave their side." replyed Miko. "Come guys, the Insecticons are coming!" said Madalyn. The ship hovered up and took off into the sky, with the Insecticons not too far behind.

"The insecticons are gaining on us. And they're blaster fire isn't helping us much." said Madalyn. "Your telling me. There's too many to pick off. I need something with a wider blast raidious. Madalyn! Take the wheel!" said replyed Wheeljack as he quickly got up fromhis seat and put Madalyn into the driver's seat. "Me?!?" asked Madalyn in shock as she quickly grabbed the steering wheel "I don't even know how to fly this thing!" "Have you ever flown an earth plane?" asked Wheeljack. "Yeah, why?" answered Madalyn. "It's just like this. Keep it steady, and avoid the blaster fire." explained Wheeljack. "Got it." replyed Madalyn. Wheeljack got out a black breif case that contained all of his grenades. "But I thought you...." said Miko. "I only carry one, at a time." answered Wheeljack. He opened up a panel door at the top of the ship and climbed to the top. A few seconds later, there was a huge 'BOOM' noise and Madalyn heard an explosion. She looked on the computer screen to see the enitre hord of Insecticons destroyed by the blast. "Phew! Alright Wheeljack!" cheered Madalyn. Wheeljack came back down into the ship and closed the panel door. Madalyn got off the driver's seat and allowd Wheeljack back in to steer. "Welcome to the Wreakers kid. You did Bulkhead proud." said Wheeljack with a smile. Miko sloatched into the passenger chair with her knees tucked up to her chest. "Then why don't I feel any different?" asked Miko.

Wheeljack, Miko, and Madalyn arrived back at the Autobot base. Madalyn helped Wheeljack to the entrance while Miko followed. "I hoped you learned something from this Miko. Revenge isn't always, and will never be, the right thing to sole these types of problems. Agreed?" explained Madalyn. "Agreed." replyed Miko. Madalyn gave Wheeljack a look. "That includes you too Jackie." said Madalyn. "Hey, don't worry. I know better two." added Wheeljack. "Good." replyed Madalyn. They all walked inside the base to find all the Autobots, expect for Bulkhead, at the command center. "Miko, you alright?" asked Arcee in worry as she knelt down next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "She's fine. Kid's a pro." said Wheeljack. "I wasn't talking to you." replyed Arcee. Optimus walked up to Madalyn and Wheeljack. "Well done Madalyn, on bring back Miko and Wheeljack." said Optimus. "Nothing to it, Prime." replyed Madalyn as she released Wheeljack. "How is he?" asked Miko. "Beep bop bop 'Not too well...'" said Bumblebee as his head went down. "Bulkhead, will survive." said Ratchet. "Phew." signed Madalyn. "But, he may never, be fully functional again." added Ratchet. Madalyn, and Wheeljack, had shocked looks on their faces, but calmed down, glad to know that Bulkhead would survive. But Miko started to become upset and she ran off into the med bay to see Bulkhead. "Miko! I don't think It is wise for you to.." said Ratchet but Optimus and Madalyn stoped him. Optimus shook his head 'no' at Ratchet. "Let her see him. Just this once." said Madalyn. Wheeljack looked at Bulkhead then turned to the other Autobots. "I, don't think I'm ready to see Bulk' right now. Notlike this." said Wheeljack as he transformed into his vehicle mode and drove off. Madalyn walked into the medical bay to see Miko sitting on Bulkhead's chest, crying alittle. "I'm neverleaving you again." said Miko.
