Madalyn, Ratchet, and Optimus were at a Decepticon digging site. Ratchet say's that the signal came from an autobot relic that Optimus decoded for Megatron when he was Oran Pax. They were watching them as Megatron flew in, transformed into robot mode, and explored the site. "Megatron?" asked Ratchet, "What's he doing here? And what are they looking for? Energon maybe?" asked Madalyn. "It seem's you have detected the Acient Autobot frequncey purcisly because it was unearthed." explained Optimus. "So, it's not energon that they found?" asked Madalyn. "Well our backup shouldn't be far behind." said Ratchet. "Without knowing what the Decepticons have exumed." said Optimus as he transformed his hand into a blaster "I do not think I'm willing to wait." Optimus walked out from hiding and ran towards the site, while Ratchet followed him. Madalyn turned on her communicator and activated her Autobot form. Once she transformed, she ran out of hiding aswell and caught up with the boys who were nearly face to face with Megatron. "Megatron! I can not allow you to pillfur Autobot relics!" said Optimus as he aimed his blaster at him. "Yeah, hand it over, while you still have a chance." added Madalyn. "Not only are you misinformed Optimus, but I would strongly advise you to lower your weapons." said Megatron as he took out the relic from the container and aimed it at Madalyn and the Autobots "Unless your in the mode for mutualy insured destruction." "What is that?" asked Madalyn. "It can't be!" said Ratchet. "The Spark Extractor!" answered Optimus. "Spark Extractor? Not good!" thought Madalyn.

As Madalyn and the Autobots acted surprise to see the Spark Extractor, more Vehicons surrounded them. "Oh boy. I sense a showdown coming on." thought Madalyn. "Rather unisuming. Yet capiable of extracing every spark in it's radious. And to think YOU led me stright to it Optimus Prime! Or should I say, Oran Pax did!" said Megatron. "Back off, Decepticreep!" said Madalyn as she transformed her hand into a blaster and aimed it at Megatron. "You really should have left your Decepticon Insignia in tacted. For you have no idea how much your code hacking skills proved to be. During our all too breif time together." continued Megatron "Soundwave! Send the ground bridge!" A ground bridge opened up on the left side of the site "Ingage them!" As Megatron headed for the ground bridge, the vehicons attacked Madalyn, Optimus, and Ratchet. Optimus put his face mask on, then transformed both of his hands into blasters, then began shooting at the Vehicons. Madalyn did the same and stood by Optimus's side, while Ratchet brought out his daggers and attack the other vehicons. That's when Madalyn heard a car engine noise, and saw Bumblebee drive up the cliff and knocking down the last remaining Vehicons. "Bumblebee! Secure the package!" ordered Optimus. Madalyn watched as Bumblebee drove at full speed into the Decepticon ground bridge. "Bumblebee!" yelled Madalyn. Ratchet then opened up a ground bridge that led back to the Autobot base. "Madalyn, wait here and make sure Bumblebee get's back through our bridge!" said Optimus. "You got it Prime!" replyed Madalyn. Optimus and Ratchet ran through their ground bridge while Madalyn stayed near it, waiting for Bumblebee. "Come on, Bumblebee!" whispered Madalyn. After endless seconds of waiting, Madalyn saw Bumblebee drive out of the Decepticon ground bridge in a 360 flip, then landed on his wheels and drove towards Madalyn. "Beep bop bop beep! 'Got the relic!" said Bumblebee. "Awesome! Quick let's get out of here, before Megatron get's back!" replyed Madalyn. Madalyn ran through the ground bridge while Bumblebee drove in behind her as the ground bridge closed.

"Hey guys! How did it go?" asked Cole. He, Jack, Miko, and Raf were waiting for them at the base with Arcee and Bulkhead. "It was unbelivable! Raf, you should have seen Bee out there! He was like a daredevil! Tell'em Bumblebee, I'll get the relic to Ratchet." explained Madalyn. "Beep bop 'Alright." answered Bumblebee. Bumblebee handed the Spark Extractor over to Madalyn. As Madalyn walked away she heard Bumblebee telling the kids, and the others the story. "Got the relic for ya boys!" said Madalyn as she walked into Ratchet's lab. "Exellent." replyed Ratchet. Madalyn handed over the relic to Ratchet and he attached it to his computer scanner. "Well done Madalyn. You've been becoming stronger and stronger ever sense you first used the communicator." said Optimus. "Thanks Optimus. I've always dreamed of being an Autobot. And now, thanks to you guys, I finally get that chance." replyed Madalyn, but then her insiginia started beeping again and she transformed back into her human form "Well, for a limited time, though." Optimus smiled at her then lowered his hand down. "Ha, ha, come on up." said Optimus. Madalyn smiled and ran over and jumped on Optimus's hand. Optimus raised his hand and placed Madalyn on his shoulder and Madalyn sat down. "Optimus!" said Ratchet. "You got something Ratchet?" asked Madalyn. The computer screen zoomed in at the bottom of the spark extractor, then suddenly an Autobot Insignia appeared on it. "Here. The source of the acient frequncy we detected." answered Ratchet. "An Iacon homing becon."said Optimus."What's an Autobot locator doing on that?' asked Arcee as she and Bulkhead and Bumblebee walked over to the lab. "The class A Decepticon weapons confiscated during the war, were sealed in the vaults below Iacon." answered Optimus as he turned towards them. "At the Iacon Hall of Records!" added Madalyn. "Where you once worked as an archivist?"asked Bulkhead. "Iacon was both a cultural center and a stronghold. Where Megatron invaded when Autobot forces were at their naydeer. It stands to reason, that in anticapation of Iacon, being over run by enemy forces, these weapons were jetasend off world. To keep them far from Decepticon reach." explained Optimus. "Clearly the becon was added as a safety measure, should the weapons ever be found by the undesired party." added Ratchet. "Like the Decepticons." said Arcee. "Well thanks to our hotshot stunt driver, this one is going in OUR vault!" said Bulkhead. "Optimus? Do you think that this is the only intel you supplied to Megatron?" asked Madalyn nervously. "Madalyn, you are right to ask. And I am afaird I, do not remember." answered Optimus while closiing his optics, looking down slightly and skaing his head. "Optimus, Megatron clearly took advantage of your amensia. But for all we know, this Spark Extractor is the extent of it. Have you stoped to consider that he might have suggested unwise, mearly to plauge your thoughts?" asked Ratchet. "Ratchet does have a pont. Megatron used you, to decode the Iacon database, because he knew your hacking skills would do the trick. But I'm glad that you knew something wasn't right, and that you took on Megatron. And that's the Optimus we all know and love." said Madalyn.

Later that night, Madalyn went on patrol with Bumblebee and Bulkhead, but not in her Autobot form, she thought it wouldn't be nessacary. She was in the front driver seat with Bumblebee. "Hey Bulkhead, me and Bumblebee are picking somesort of signal." said Madalyn. "Yeah, I'm picking it up too. Could be another homing becon. Let's rendezvous at the coordinates." said Bulkhead through the com-link. "You got it Bulk'!." replyed Madalyn as she ended the transmission "Let's go, Bee!" Bumblebee speeded down the road for awhile then turned left and drove off the road and into the canyons. He stoped to let Madalyn out, then he transformed to robot mode, and he and Madalyn walked towards the signal.

As they were walking they heard a deep beeping noise coming from close by. "Bumblebee! Over there!" said Madalyn as she pointed to wahat appeared to be a signal rod of somesort. Madalyn and Bumblebee ran over to it and examained it. "Definatly the source of the signal. But is it Cybertronian?" asked Madalyn. Then they heard some eletric type noise and a eletric strike coming out of nowhere and shocking Bumblebee. "Bumblebee!" yelled Madalyn. Bumblebee collapsed to the ground and powered down. Madalyn watched as the blue light of Bumbelebee's optics dissepear and just lay there on the ground. Madalyn ran over to check on her friend, when she heard something fall to the ground. She looked behind her to see a grenade. "A smoke grenade!" yelled Madalyn. The grenade exploded and there was green smoke all around her. Madalyn cough constinantly, and got on to her kness and hands, and within moments, collapsed on the ground unconcious.

Madalyn and Bumblebee woke up to the noises of a helicopter turbine. Madalyn got up slightly to see ahelicopter flying away. "Who was that?" said Madalyn. Then they heard engine noises and saw Bulkhead drive towards them, then transform into robot mode, and knelt down beside them. "Bee! Madalyn! Who did this? 'Cons?" asked Bulkhead. "Beep beep bop beep ' I'm not sure." answered Bumblebee. "I don't know either." answered Madalyn. Only one way to find out! Come on!" said Bulkhead. Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Madalyn got up and ran back towards the road. Bulkhead transformed into vehicle mode and drove ahead of Madalyn and Bumblebee. "Let's roll out, Bumblebee!" said Madalyn. From behind her, Madalyn heard the transforming sound come from Bumblebee, but it sounded alot different. She stoped in her tracks and turned to Bumblebee. "Bee, you alright?" asked Madalyn. Then Madalyn watched as Bumblebee tried to move his lights from his chest, but they would only move a few inctes and move back to it's original spot. "That, doesn't sound good." said Madalyn "Hey Bulkhead!" Bulkhead stoped, then drove backwards, made a U-turn, while transforming into robot mode and walked back towards Bumblebee and Madalyn. "We rolling or not?" said Bulkhead. "Bulkhead, something's wrong with Bumblebee!" replyed Madalyn. "Beep beep beep bop bop beep bop bop beep 'Bulkhead this is gonna sound crazy but, I, I can't transform!" said Bumblebee. "What do you mean you can't?" asked Bulkhead. "Can't what? Whats going on?" asked Madalyn. "Bumblebee says he can't transform!" answered Bulkhead. "What?!?" asked Madalyn.

Madalyn and Bulkhead brought Bumblebee back to base, and sat him down on one of the medic beds while Ratchet scanned him. Raf ran over to the bed. "You can fix Bee, can't you?" asked Raf. "Bumblebee was hit pretty hard. The stun blast might have damaged his T-Cog." explained Ratchet while he checked his computer then scanned Bumblebee again. "What's a T-Cog?" asked Madalyn. "Is it part of your Cybertronian skeleton or something?" asked Cole. "Is it like a T-Bone?" asked Miko. "Not exactly. It's the organ that allows us to scan vehicles and transform." answered Arcee. "Ah-ha! So it does involve your system!" said Cole. "And it is the organ that allows us to use our weapons." added Optimus. Then there was a 'beep' noise coming from Ratchet's scanner. "By the allsaprk!" said Ratchet as he turned off the scanner "Bumblebee's T-cog isn't damaged. It's missing!" Everyone had shcoked looks on there faces. "What?!?" replyed Madalyn. "But the Decepticons transform too." said Jack. "Yeah, why would they steal that?" asked Cole. "Megatron may be known to raise zombies, but he's no goowl." said Ratchet. "If Megatron wasn't behind this, then who?" asked Raf. "I got an idea." answered Madalyn. "The one's who canaviliazed Breakdown." added Bulkhead. "And tried to gut me." added Arcee. "M.E.C.H." answered Ratchet. "Bingo, give the Autobot a prize." said Madalyn. "And it would appear that their knowledge on Cybertronian biotech as grown more cefisticated." said Ratchet. "But why would they want Bumblebee's part?" asked Raf. "Beep beep bop beep bop bop beep bop 'Don't know and don't care! I'm going out there and getting my T-Cog back!" said Bumblebee as he got up from his medic bed. "Bumblebee please." said Optimus as he placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him "You are not presently equiped to handle this." "Beep beep bop bop beep beep bop bop beep 'But Optimus, you don't know what it's like to lose something like this!" said Bumblebee. "You are mistaken my friend, I do know what it's like to lose a vital part of one's self. And as a result, I kow the value of putting ones fate in those strenghts with thous around you. We vow to do everything in our power to make you whole again." explained Optimus. "We promise Bumblebee." added Madalyn. "And if not, Ratchet can just build you a new T-Cog right?" asked Miko. "Beep? Baaaaaaah bop bep 'What? Awwwww! He can't!" said Bumblebee as he wined then sat back down on the edge of the medic bed. "Not the best choice of workds Miko." said Madalyn while facepalming "What? What did I say?" asked Miko."Miko, a T-Cog is a biomechanisim not a scrap yard find. If it was that easy, do you think I would have replaced Bumblebee's voice box by now?" said Ratchet. "Beep, bop bop bop bop bop beep beep bpo 'Tell me about it! I fel useless!" said Bumblebee. "Don't say that Bee, your not useless." replyed Raf. "Yeah, your just as cool without wheels!" added Cole. Bumblebee looked at them, then turned his head away, made a dissapointed sigh and looked down at the floor. "Hang in there Bumblebee. We'll find a way." thought Madalyn.

"Alright, alright, I say none of us, including Madalyn. transforms untill we get Bumblebee's T-Cog back." said Bulkhead. "Your spark's in the right place Bulkhead." said Arcee. "But now, I don't think is the time to be limiting ourselves." added Madalyn. "Not with Megatron seeking other doom's day devices. And I fear, not while M.E.C.H. uses Bumblebee's T-Cog for their own sinister purpose." said Optimus. "Then we'd better start looking." said Cole. "Cole is right. Me and Bulkhead will begin the search. Arcee, you Ratchet and the childern will stay here with Bumblebee." explained Optimus. "Got it!" replyed Arcee. "Let's go!" replyed Bulkhead.

About 2 hours has past. Optimus and Bulkhead were still searching while Ratchet, Miko, Raf, and Madalyn stayed behind with Bumblebee. Arcee left to pick up Jack and Cole from work. Madalyn, Miko, and Raf were playing 'Mario Kart Double Dash' when they heard Ratchet start yelling. "Will someone keep him ocupied so I can get some work done?!" yelled Ratchet. "We got 'em Ratchet!" replyed Madalyn. "Hey Bumblebee!" called Raf. "Bop? 'Yeah?" asked Bumblebee. "How about a video game?" asked Raf. "beep bop 'Ok." answered Bumblebee as he walked over to the TV area and watchd from behind the reiling. Bumblebee watched the TV screen as Raf speeded past Miko and Madalyn's cars. "Beep beep bop beep? 'Racing Game? Seriously?" asked Bumblebee. "Oh, bad call." commented Miko. "Sorry" apoligized Raf. "No worries! That game was lame!" said Miko as she tossed her controller away. "How about we watch some TV?" asked Madalyn. "Beep bop! 'Yeah!" replyed Bumblebee. Madalyn grabbed the romote and changed the input to regualr TV. Right when the TV came on, a car commerical for the exact same car Bumblebee turns into came on. When the commerical was over. Everyone was speechless. "Oh scrap!" whispered Madalyn as she facepalmed. "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep bop 'It's tearing me apart!" cried out Bumblebee as he walked away. "Ok, taking the 'Auto' out of an Autobot is SO not a good thing." said Miko. "Gee, yeah think?" sarcastically asked Madalyn. Madalyn and Raf got off the couch and ran towards Bumblebee. "Come on Bee, your just as amazing without wheels!" said Raf. "Yeah! Don't let this situation get you down." added Madalyn. "Besides, speed isn't everything." said Raf. Bumblebee looked at them and nodded his head meaning he's ok. Then they all heard a motorcycle engine noise, and Arcee zoomed in with Jack riding her, followed by Cole riding his own motorcycle behind them. "Who! That was awesome!" cheered Cole. "Nice ride you guys! We hit 120 easy!" said Jack as he took his helmut and hiigh fived Cole. Bumblebee glared at them with an angry look in his optics and his car door wings flaped down against his back. "Ah oh." said Arcee, Jack, and Cole in unison. Bumblebee beeped furestratedly and walked towards the exit. "Bumblebee! Where do you think your going?" asked Ratchet. "Beep bop bop beep bop beep 'For a walk. That ok with you?" replyed Bumblebee. "You can't just go for a walk! Were robot's in disguise! Leaving the base in this form could get you at risk of being seen! And us being discovered!" explained Ratchet as he guided Bumblebee back towards the medic bed "You'll have to remain in the base untill..." "Beep bop bop beep bop? 'Untill what? Untill you can fix me?!?" asked Bumblebee angerly as he pulled his hand away from Ratchet and walked away and into the hallway. "Yes Bumblebee, untill I can fix you." whispered Ratchet. "well, that went well." thought Madalyn.

It was the next day in Jaspear, Nevada. Madalyn offered to spend the night at the Autobot base to help keep an eye on Bumblebee. That afternoon, Madalyn went with Ratchet to pick up Raf from school. Madalyn was in the drivers seat, so the people passing by wouldn't get concerned about an emergency vehicle driving it self. They pulled up infront of the school were Raf was waiting for them. He got his back-pack and climbed in. "In ya go." said Ratchet as he closed the door. "Thanks for the ride home, firnd of Jack's mom, who's a nurse!" said Raf so he wouldn't be embarrest. "Nice save." teased Madalyn. "Where's the others?" asked Ratchet. "Jack and Cole are at work. ANd Miko's in detention." answered Raf. "Again." said Madalyn and Raf in unison. "I was expecting Bulkhead." continued Raf. "Well I'm sorry to dissapoint but he's on watch duty." explained Ratchet. Raf slouched in the passenger seat looking out the window, while Madalyn pretended to be driving Ratchet, for people passing by. There was an akward silence for a few seconds. "You wanna ride with the siren on?" asked Ratchet. "No thank you." answered Raf.

"Something wrong, Raf? You seem quiet." asked Madalyn. "I'm alright Madalyn. I'm just thinking that's all. Hey Ratchet, what happened to Bumblebee's voice box anyway?" asked Raf. "Yeah, did he lose it during the war?' asked Madalyn. "It was severaly damaged in battle." answered Ratchet. "How?" asked Raf. "How do you think? Tragicaly of course. It happened at TigerPax. Our brave scout was captured by Megatron's forces and interigated. But he refused to provide intell. And payed a grave sacrifiace for his courage." explained Ratchet. "Poor Bumblebee. And then?" asked Madalyn. "Bumblebee was left for scrap, but Autobot troops found him and evacuated him to a triage facilaty. Where a field medic was able to stablize his condition." finnished Ratchet. "So, we owe Bumblebee's life to that field medic." said Raf. "That's one way of looking at it I suppose." replyed Ratchet. "Well whereever he may be now, he has our thank." added Madalyn. "Though the medic, could have done better." said Ratchet.

Ratchet, Madalyn, and Raf arrived back at the base with none to be found. Ratchet let the kids out then transformed to robot mode. "Strange. Bulkhead! Bumblebee! You in here?" called out Ratchet. Then he walked over to his computer and looked for their signals. "Where did they go?" asked Raf. "Wasn't Bulkhead incharge of Bumblebee?" asked Madalyn. "Ah-ha! I'm locked on. Looks like they picked up a signal for another relic and they left to investigate." explained Rhet. "Reopen the bridge Ratchet. I'll go find them!" said Madalyn. "Very well." replyed Ratchet. Ratchet activated the ground bridge and the portal opened. Madalyn turned on her communicator and transformed ito her Autobot form. "I'm going in!" said Madalyn as she ran though the ground bridge.

Madalyn arrived at the other side of the bridge, to find herself in the middle of the road on a canyon highway near an abandon gas station. "What have we here?' thought Madalyn as she knelt down and examained tire tracks heading down the road. She ran down the road towards a turn, but the railing had a busted hole in it. She ran towards the edge and looked down to see an old white tow-truck crashed into the ground in peices. And next to it, saw a yellow and black autobot. "Is that..... BUMBLEBEE!" cried Madalyn.
