"I gotta edmit, I wasn't sure about this, when I joined Team Prime, but I think I can keep a secret." said CrackerJack. "So Aunt Alexis and Uncle Carlos have no idea that your here?" asked Madalyn. "Well, I couldn't tell them I was going to a secert government base filled with giant robots! So I winged it and told them I'd be going to a friends house the entire day. Although I do sometimes hate lying to them. You know, because they're family and all." said CrackerJack. "I know how you feel CrackerJack. Jack's mom, June, got caught by M.E.C.H. and a rouge Decepticon named Arcahnid, so we had to gosave her, which of couse blew Arcee's cover. But, it was the right thing to do." replyed Madalyn "So while your here, please try to stay out of trouble." "What are you talking about? I never get in trouble!" stated CrackerJack. "Oh really? What about the time, back in 3rd grade, you glued Andy Gomez to his desk? Or in 5th grade when you replaced the school cafeteria's kethup with chicken blood? And in 8th grade at our middle school graduation, you blew the speaker's for the microphone up, and the smoke set off the emergency springclers?!?" said Madalyn. "Oh! Our middle school graduation I remember that! Best prank I ever pulled off! Oh wait, I see where your going with this. Don't worry Maddie, I won't mess around with the 'Bots." said Cracker Jack as he gave his sister a nuggie. "Ha, ha, alright, you have my trust again. But I'll be watching. But, if you do want to prank one of the 'bots, first you MUST seek my permission, AND you must tell me what the prank is. Deal?" said Madalyn as she gets out of the nuggie and extands her hand for a handshake. "Deal!" said CrackerJack as he spited on his hand and extended his hand to Madalyn's for the shake. "Ok, the deal is still on, but there's no way I'm touching that!" said Madalyn while slightly laughing.

Just then, Raf and Bumblebee arrived at the base. Bumblebee, let out Raf from the passenger seat, and he transformed to robot mode. "Hey Raf, hey Bumblebee!" said Madalyn. "Hey!" replyed Raf. "Beep bop 'Hi There!" said Bumblebee "Beep beep bop bop bop beep beep bop bop beep 'I'm gonna go see what the other's are doing. See ya.'" Bumblebee walked out of the room and into the hallway, while Raf joined Madalyn and CrackerJack. "Hey guys. So how you liking hanging with the Autobots Jack? Or is it CrackerJack?" asked Raf. "CrackerJack, is my nickname.But now-a-days, everyone calls me that." answered CrackerJack. "Come on, let's go see what Ratchet's up to." said Madalyn. The kids ran over to Ratchet's work-station from the TV area. He was working on the cynfectic energon. "Hmm, surprisingly stable." said Ratchet walking to himself. "Hey Ratchet!" said Raf. "What's up Doc Bot?" asked CrackerJack. Ratchet heard them, so he looked up at the kids. "Is that cynfectic energon?" asked Madalyn. "Well, yes, infact I'm preparing to test a sample. Rafael, I see you've come equiped with protective goggles." said Ratchet as he smiled. "I can watch?" asked Raf as he smiled back. "Hey! What about us?" asked CrackerJack. "Jack! Don't be rude!" whispered Madalyn as she nudged her brother in the arm. "Relax, all of you can watch." answered Ratchet. "Awesome! I'm loving this place already!" said CrackerJack, as he, Raf, and Madalyn, jumped over the railing and landed on the platform, Ratchet was using for the test. "We just add the sample to this test engine." explained Ratchet as he took the conaster of cynfectic energon and placed it inside a needle, then attaching it to the engine, and ejecting the energon into the engine. They all watched the engine carefully. They saw the part's of the engine where you could see the energon, turn from blue, to green. Then the engine started and it worked perfectly. "Whoa, that's amazing!" said Madalyn. "It works! Bee, check this out!" yelled Raf. "Ah, ah, ah, the formula requires far more trail, before we could even think about using it for fuel, amunition, or first-aid. Which is rather unfortunate since our own energon reserves are at an all time low." explained Ratchet. "Because of the Decepticons." said Madalyn. "Couldn't you guys use less energon, so that way you can save, more for later?" asked CrackerJack. "I'm afaird it isn't that simple, Jack. Our severly outnumbered warriors, have been burning through our stock pile of late, as the Decepticons continue to run us ragged and grind us down. Natural energon is in such sort supply here on your planet. And Megatron seems to have his oily claws in all of the earth's dioposites." continued Ratchet. "Stupid, Decepticons!" said CrackerJack as he kicked the floor and crossed his arms. "But, if we can sucessfully produce a cynfectic form, we can manufacture all the energy we'll ever need." finished Ratchet. Then the alarm on Ratchet's computer went off, and everyone came in to see what's going on. "More energon on the move!" said Arcee. "Again?" asked Bulkhead. "Their recent activity, suggests a familair pattern, the Decepticons are despertly scouting for new deposites to mine. Madalyn, activate your autobot form." said Optimus. "Me? In the fight? Your serious, Optimus?" asked Madalyn. "We may require the extra firepower and backup." stated Optimus. "You got it, Optimus!" said Madalyn. She jumped down from the platform and ran to Optimus, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee. She turned on her communicator and activated her transforming system. She pushed down on the button and the blue light shun around her, and she transformed into her autobot form. "Ready!" said Madalyn as she gave them a thumbs up. "By the way, Madalyn, now would be a good time to let you know, I installed a vehicle form for you aswell." said Ratchet. "Really? What is it?" asked Madalyn. "You'll find out!" answered Ratchet. "Alright, Autobots..." before Optimus gave the order, Ratchet stoped him. "Optimus, if one of you comes back wounded this time, well our energon reserves are nearly depleated." explained Ratchet. "Understood old friend. Activate the ground bridge." commanded Optimus. Ratchet went to the ground bridge controls and opened up the ground bridge. "Whoa! Wicked!" said CrackerJack. "Autobots! Roll out!" ordered Optimus. Optimus, Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Madalyn transformed into their vehicle modes. Madalyn's vehicle mode was her Nakamura Firehawk V4 motorcycle. "Sweet!" thought Madalyn. Then the Autobots drove through the ground bridge their destination.

Madalyn, and the Autobots arrive at the otherside of the ground bridge. Once everyone was out, they transformed to robot mode, and each transformed one of their hands into their blasters. "I can't believe I'm actually here! In the battlefield! With the Autobots!" thought Madalyn. She and the 'Bots looked around for any sign of energon or the Decepticons. "That's strange. I don't see them." said Madalyn. "Maybe they got away while we were coming in through our ground bridge?" suggested Bulkhead. "It's a possibilty." said Arcee. "Keep searching. They couldn't have gotten far." ordered Optimus. Madalyn and the Autobots started walking down a path. It was dark, and the wind was blowing the dust all over the ground. "They gotta be here somewhere." said Madalyn. "Correction! We were here!" yelled a Decepticon. Up on a ledge over them, Knockout and Breakdown jumped down from the ledge. As the jumped, Madalyn saw Breakdown carrying an energon cube in his hand. "They got the energon!" yelled Madalyn. Once they landed, Knockout threw a grenade at them and exploded at their feet. "Watch it! Grenade!" shouted Bulkhead. Everyone jumped out of the way and took cover. When the smoke cleared, Knockout and Breakdown already transformed into their vehicle modes and drove off. "After them!" ordered Optimus. Madalyn, and the Autobots transformed and drove after them.

"Knockout! Can't we just bridge out of here? This cube is putting some serious drag on me!" complained Breakdown. "The more we give the Autobots a work out, the more fuel they burn and we win the energon race! Besides, here come's air support!" replyed Knockout. "Air support?" said Madalyn. She used her reer-view mirror to look up in the sky and found flying vehicons. "We got company guys!" shouted Madalyn. The vehicons, shot missiles at the cliffs and rocks came tumbling down to block the Autobots path. "Oh no they don't!" said Madalyn, as speeded up towards the rocks. "Madalyn! Wait for me!" yelled Arcee as she caught up with her. Arcee and Madalyn ramped up a giant rock and flew into the air. They both transformed into robot mode, and jumped from rock to rock as they fell. On the last rock, they transformed back into vehicle mode, and acelerated off the rock and out of the tumbling rocks and drove after Knockout and Breakdown. "Arcee! Madalyn! Fall back! Your out-numbered!" ordered Optimus through the com-link. "Were always out numbered!" replyed Arcee "We need that energon!" Madalyn saw in her reer-view mirror, the flying vehicons still chasing them. "Arcee, Optimus is right, the 'Cons are still gaining on us!" said Madalyn. "Ratchet, lock on to Arcee and Madalyn's coordinates and prepare an emergency ground bridge!" ordered Optimus. "I'm locked on. Arcee, Madalyn, decelarate and prepare to return to base." said Ratchet. "Save it Ratchet! Were too close!" said Arcee. "But Arcee?" asked Madalyn. "Madalyn, trust me on this!" replyed Arcee. "Don't be a fool!" said Ratchet. The vehicons launched a huge amount of missiles at Arcee and Madalyn. "Incoming!" yelled Madalyn. Arcee and Madalyn tried to dodge the missiles, but they both got hit from behind. They fliped frontwards in vehicle mode, which forced them to transform into robot mode, barrel roll afew times, then slide across the ground, frontwards, into a big open area of the cannon. "Ow, my acheing everything." groaned Madalyn.

Arcee sat up alittle, and help Madalyn sat up, who appeared to be the most damaged. "Madalyn you alright?" asked Arcee as she helped her up. "I... I don't know.." answered Madalyn. Madalyn and Arcee looked up into the sky and saw the vehicons transform into their robot modes in thin air. Then they landed around the girls in a big circle. Once all the vehicons landed, the last one, who landed into fron of them, walked over to them and transformed his hand into a blaster and aimed it at them. The other vehcons did the same. "Oh scrap..." whispered Madalyn. Then up in the air behind them, a ground bridge opened up, and out flew, Ratchet, with his hands transformed into swords. "Ya!" shouted Ratchet as he landed on top the vehicon that was infront of Arcee and Madalyn. When the dust cleared, Ratchet picked up the vehicon and threw it at another 'Con and started fighting all of them. Arcee and Madalyn couldn't believe what they were seeing. "Ratchet?" whispered Arcee. "Whoa!" said Madalyn as she and Arcee watched Ratchet fight the vehicons. Then Madalyn saw some other blaster fire, start shooting at the vehicons, Knockout, and Breakdown. Optimus, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead came running down the pile of rock's while shooting at the Decepticons. "Alright! Back-up!" thought Madalyn. Knockout and Breakdown, then drove off, being out numbered and took off from the fighting, taking the energon with them. After Ratchet smashed the last 'Con, the others met up with Arcee and Madalyn. Bumblebee helped Arcee up, while Optimus helped Madalyn. "Are you hurt Madalyn?" asked Optimus. "I think, it's my leg." answered Madalyn. Optimus grabbed Madalyn's right arm, and moved it over his neck, while placing his other hand on the side of her stomach to help her up and carry her. Bumblebee did the same with Arcee. They watched as Ratchet, steped on the pile of dead vehicons, and punch another one in the face from behind him. "Hoo-ah!" cheered Ratchet. "That, was, awesome!" cheered Madalyn. Then Madalyn's Autobot insignia started blinking again, and the blue light changed her back into her human form. "Aww man! Well, at least my leg is better, now." said Madalyn.

Raf and CrackerJack opened a ground bridge for the others and they arrived back at the base. "What happened?" asked Raf. "Was there a fight?" asked CrackerJack. "I only saw the goory aftermath but I heard Ratchet was a one bot wreaking machine!" answered Bulkhead. "Cool!" said CrackerJack. Ratchet scooped up Raf in his hand. "Whoa!" yelled Raf. "Hey, little fella." said Ratchet as he set him back down next to the ground bridge controls. "Little fella? Ok, that is so not Ratchet!" said Madalyn as she was sitting on Optimus's shoulder. "Ok, what's your secert?" asked Arcee. "No secert. Just alittle thing I like to call, Cynfen" said Ratchet as he tossed Arcee one of the other cynfectic energon containers. "From the data Bulkhead transcribed?" asked Arcee "I thought the formula was..." "Incomplete? Well, not anymore!" answered Ratchet. Bumblebee took the container from Arcee and looked through the glass. "Beep beep bop beep bop 'So this stuff actually works now?'" asked Bumblebee as he passed it to Bulkhead. "So Ratchet makes a better tough guy then I do a smart guy?" said Bulkhead, as he passed it to Optimus. Optimus and Madalyn looked at the container. "Whoa. You think we should go forward with this?" asked Madalyn. "Ratchet, I question the wisdom of using yourself as a test subject." said Optimus. "Optimus! You didn't see Ratchet out there like me and Madalyn did, he was in overdrive! We should all try this stuff!" explained Arcee. "Or give him more so we can take a vacation!" added Bulkhead. "I agree that the results do seem promising." said Optimus as he walked over to Ratchet "But, I recommend that future testing be used on machines. Not, Autobots." Optimus handed Ratchet back the container "Out number though we may be old friend, but we need a warrior in the labratory, more then we need one in the field."

Bulkhead, Ratchet, Madalyn, and CrackerJack were all in the training room. Ratchet was showing them the moves he did on the vehicons and telling them the story of what happened. "What happened next Ratchet?" asked CrackerJack in excitement. "And then, he came right at me and..." said Ratchet as he jumped forwards then performed a kick and got into a battle stance "Well, come on Bulk', come at me!" "Uh, I don't wanna hurt you Ratchet." said Bulkhead. Then Ratchet slapped him in the face and got back to his battle stance. "Oh, snap! He did not just do what I think he just did!" said Madalyn. "I said come at me!" said Ratchet. Bulkhead growled then transformed his hand into a wreaking ball, and charged at Ratchet. He swung it at him, but missed, and Ratchet picked up Bulkhead and threw him towards the wall. But Bulkhead, broke through it and crashed into the wall of the hallway, upside down. "Whoa! That was awesome!" cheered CrackerJack. "Bulkhead you ok?" asked Madalyn as she and CrackerJack ran over to Bulkhead to check to see if he was ok. Then Bumblebee and Arcee turned the corner and saw the hole in the wall and Bulkhead upside down. "What was that?" asked Arcee. "Ratchet and Bulkhead were practicing, and Bulkhead got his butt kicked!" answered CrackerJack as he pounded his fists together. Then Ratchet came towards the hole from the training room. "You have competetion Bulk'. I'm a bit stronger then I used to be." said Ratchet as he walked out of the hole and into the hallway "Also a bit faster! Ha!" as he performed a punch but stoped it infront of Bumblebee's face. "Ratchet, be careful!" said Madalyn. "Think you can take me on muscle car?" taunted Ratchet. Bumblebee waved his hands at him and shoke his head, "Beep 'No thank you'" said Bumblebee. Ratchet up his arm down and walked down the hall. "Wimp." said Ratchet, then he made a 'click' sound with his metal teeth and winked at Arcee and walked away "Hey, how's it humming?" "Did he just?" asked Arcee. "He just flirted with you! That is so not like him!" said Madalyn. "Stronger, Faster, Studlier." said Bulkhead as he got up and rubbed his head.

"Come on Jack, we gotta tell Optimus, about how Ratchet is behaving!" said Madalyn. She ran down the hallway, into the control room while CrackerJack followed her. "Optimus, Ratchet is acting really weird, he's not himself!" said Madalyn. "We think the cynfectic energon is getting to him." added CrackerJack. Just then the alarm went off again. "Looks like the 'Cons hit another vain." said Arcee. "Another one?" asked CrackerJack. "Madalyn, come with us. Autobots! Roll out!" ordered Optimus. Madalyn activated her communicator and transformed into robot mode. "Lets go!" said Madalyn as she ran to the ground bridge. But Bulkhead got infront of her and Optimus. "hey, hey, hey, shouldn't we wait for our secert weapon?" asked Bulkhead. "This mission is unlikely to require medical expertice." answered Optimus. "But, you never know if it may require additional firepower!" said Ratchet as he was leaning againts the wall with his arms crossed at the hallway entrance "Bumblebee can handle ground bridge duty." "Beep beep bop? 'Is he serious?" asked Bumblebee. "And besides, somebody here, as to teach the rookie a thing or two about handling these Decepticons." said Ratchet he patted Madalyn on the head. "Did, he just call me a rookie?" asked Madalyn. "Time to put some hurt against those Decepticons!" said Ratchet.

"Ok, explain to me again, why he's coming with us?" asked Madalyn in her robot mode, as she and the Autobots ran down a hill, and Ratchet was way out infront, leading the pack. "We need the extra firepower. Besides, what could go wrong?" answered Bulkhead. "I got a few things in mind." thought Madalyn. Once they reached near the end of the hill, Ratchet hide behind a rock while, Madalyn, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Optimus hid behind one behind Ratchet. They saw a whole bunch of Decepticons and a drill, drilling through a cliff. Bulkhead took out his energon scanner. "How's it looking Bulkhead?" asked Madalyn. "The signal's weak, they may have hit a vain, but they won't find much of an energon pulse. Not here anyway." explained Bulkhead. "I think Megatron is as desprete to find this stuff as much as we are." said Arcee. "Do you three ALWAYS talk this much during these missions?" asked Ratchet annoyingly. "See, Ratchet's not acting like himself! Optimus, something is wrong." whispered Madalyn to Optimus. "I sense it too." Optimus whispered back. Then Ratchet jumped over the rock, transformed into vehicle mode, and drove down the hill. "Making a break!" yelled Madalyn as she, and the others ran after him. "Autobots!" shouted one of the vehicons at the bottom of the hill. Ratchet dodge all the blaster fire, then he rammed into a vehicle, then transformed back into robot mode, and landed ontop of the vehicon ontop the ground. "It's alright, I'm an emergency vehicle!" said Ratchet as he transformed his hands into swords and attacked the vehicons. Madalyn, Arcee, and Optimus transformed their hands into blasters, and blasted at the vehicons, Ratchet wasn't attack. "Well at least there's still some for us!" said Madalyn. Once they reached the bottom of the hill, they all started fighting with hand-to-hand combat. "Alright, lets see if all my miliarty training paid off." said Madalyn as she punched and kicked a few Decepticons who charged at her.

As Bulkhead smashed the last vehicon with his wreaking ball, Madalyn and the other's heard a scream coming from the top of the cliff. "AHHHH!" "What was that?" asked Madalyn with a scared expression. She, and the others climbed up to the top of the cliff, and saw Ratchet using his flametorch, to melt the vehicons head. "Whoa! What's he doing?" asked Madalyn in shock. "That's all I know! really!" yelled the vehicon. Within moments, the vehicon's face practicaly melted alittle, but was still alive. "Now, was that so hard?" asked Ratchet. He transformed his hand back to normal, then into a sword and raised his hand to deliever a final blow. "Ratchet! What are you doing?!?" yelled Optimus as he ran towards him, and stoped Ratchet from finishing of the vehicon. "Getting results." answered Ratchet. The vehicon got up and ran away while, Madalyn and the other's caught up with Optimus. "What the heck was that Ratchet? This isn't like you!" said Madalyn. "And breaking protocall." said Optimus then he turned to Madalyn "Let this be a lesson to teach you the ways of the Autobots, Madalyn." Madalyn nodded then Optimus turned back to Ratchet "That was a Decepticon miner. Servant class, NOT Warrior class." "Oh and let me guess, I'm just the medic!" talked back Ratchet. "Autobots, do not inflect harm unless all other options have been exhusted. It is what seperates us from the Decepticons." explained Optimus. "Wow. I gotta remember that." thought Madalyn. "HA! Is this really the time for another lecture Optimus?" asked Ratchet. "Ratchet, easy!" said Madalyn as she started walking towards Rachet but Optimus stoped her. She nodded knowing not to get involve and back away. "You didn't happen to discover Megatron's current location did you? Well I did! And do you know where the stock pile of raw energon is right for the taking? I do!" said Ratchet. Bulkhead walked towards Ratchet while Arcee walked next to Madalyn and Optimus. "Come on Ratchet, come it down!" said Bulkhead. "Calm is the last thing we need! Calm is what lost us Cybertron! The 'Cons hve a warship! An army! All this energon scouting, you think Megatron isn't gearing up for something big?!? Were squandering our resources, chasing after his goons! When we really need to be hitting him hard, and hitting him now!" said Ratchet as he pounded his fists together "Pursisly where it hurts!" Madalyn looked up at Optimus, who looked down at her. He knows she wants to talk to him. He nods in agreement, so Madalyn slowly walks over to Ratchet. "Ratchet, listen to me. The cynfectic energon is really starting to get to you. You need to stop this before it get's worse!" explained Madalyn as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "No! This cynfectic energon has given me the upgrade I need!" yelled Ratchet as he pushed Madalyn away from him, and as Madalyn was falling to the ground, Optimus caught her, and moved her behind him for protection. "Ratchet, that's enough! A direct assault on the Decepticons would only result in repullvocing retailiation. And lead to incalcuable losses." explained Optimus "I will not indanger innocent human lives" finnished Optimus as placed a hand on Madalyn's shoulder. "And yet you seem to not have a problem of indangering Autobots! Just ask Cliffjumper! Oh wait! He couldn't be here today!" said Ratchet. Arcee had a shocked look on her face, then it turned to anger. "Thats it!" yelled Arcee. Before she could charge at him, Bulkhead grabed her arms and holded her back. "You know your problem Optimus? For such a big strong 'Bot, your soft! You didn't pound Megatron when you had the chance! Many chances infact!" said Ratchet. Madalyn got infront Optimus, and she had a serious expression on her face. "Hey, back off, Ratchet! That's not your call to make! Optimus know's what he's doing. Unlike you and your cynfectic energon." said Madalyn. Madalyn walked back to Bulkhead and Arcee. "I'm afaird the cynfectic energon has impaired your judgement old friend. I am confinding you to base, untill future notice." ordered Optimus "Bumblebee! Bridge us back!" Bulkhead let go of Arcee, while a ground bridge opened up behind them. Ratchet sighed then walked to the ground bridge. "Fine." said Ratchet. Madalyn watched Ratchet with a mixed of a scraed, sad and worried expression on her face as he walked though the ground bridge. As Bulkhead walked towards the bridge to go through, Ratchet came charging back out and knocked down Bulkhead. "Bulkhead!" yelled Madalyn. As Arcee and Optimus helped Bulkhead up, Ratchet transformed and drived off. "Madalyn! Got after him!" ordered Optimus. "You got it!" replyed Madalyn. Madalyn ran then jumped in the air and transformed into vehicle mode and drove after Ratchet.

CrackerJack & Bumblebee were waiting for the Autobots to arrive back at the base. The ground bridge opened up, and they all drove in and transformed to robot mode. Arcee imediatly ran to the computer to find Ratchet's signal. "What happen? Where's Ratchet?" asked CrackerJack. "That cynfectic energon is messing up Ratchet. He's going after Megatron." explained Bulkhead. "What?!? Megatron?!?" said CrackerJack. "Don't worry, your sister's following him. If we can't find Ratchet's signal, we'll track her. She's follow Ratchet." explained Bulkhead. "I can't get a fix of Ratchet's signal. The bogus energon must be scrambling his signal." said Arcee. "Keep trying. We've got to find Ratchet. Before he finds Megatron." said Optimus.

Madalyn followed Ratchet to a Decepticon mine. Ratchet drove in, but Madalyn stoped at the entrance and transformed into robot mode. "Alright, this is it. Don't mess up now." whispered Madalyn talking to herself. She then ran into the mine, after Ratchet. She walked slowly when she came to a corner. She rested her back against the rocky wall, and peaked her head around the corner and found Ratchet walking towards Breakdown. "I was wondering when you might show!" said Breakdown with a smirk. He transformed his hand into a hammer and charged at Ratchet. "Oh he really shouldn't do that." thought Madalyn. Ratchet dodged the attack, and lifted up Breakdown and tossed him back to the vehicon Breakdown was with. Breakdown got up, wipping the energon off his face, and while he got up, Ratchet charged him, and punched him in the face a dozen times, then Breakdown turned and fell to the ground. Once he collaped, not to far from them was Knockout and Megatron. "Oh scrap!" thought Madalyn, as she moved to hide behind a giant boulder. "Well, uh.." said Knockout as he backed up abit when he saw Ratchet. "That, is your fearsome new attmotsary? Ha, ha, ha, ha, he's Optimus Prime's medic!" said Megatron. "Oh no Megatron." said Ratchet as he walked closer towards him "I am your doctor of doom!" Then Ratchet charged at Megatron, he jumped and punched him in the face. The punch was so powerfull, it pushed Megatron right into a wall behind him. "Oh no! Now were in trouble! Better send the others an s.o.s." thought Madalyn. She opend her communicator on her wrist. Once the s.o.s. was sent, she turned her attention back to the fight.

Megatron got up and wiped the energon that leaked down from his mouth. He looked at his finger with his spilled energon then looked at Ratchet. "Alright then." said Megatron. "For Cybertron!" shouted Ratchet as he tried to punch Megatron again. But Megatron caught his fist and bended it backwards. Ratchet cried out in pain, while Madalyn ducked down and looked away for a moment but then looked back up again. Ratchet was laying on the floor with a busted hole in his stomach with the cynfectic energon leaking out. "There's your labartory sample, doctor." said Megatron. "No... Ratchet..." thought Madalyn. "Find out, if a chemical can do this to Optimus's lab dog, imagine what it could do for our troops!" said Megatron. Megatron was walking in the tunnel, Madalyn was hiding behind the boulder in. Madalyn found an open crack, big enough for Madalyn, to hide in. So she moved into the crack, and stay there untill Megatron left the mine. Madalyn moved out of the crack and back behind the boulder and heard Ratchet talking. So she peaked her head over the boulder to watch. "Optimus.... I've been a fool...." said Ratchet.

"Optimus! I got Madalyn's s.o.s! And on the same frequncy, it's Ratchet's signal!" said Arcee as she pointed to the screen. "Bumblebee!" said Optimus. "beep? 'Yep?" asked Bumblebee "beep beep bop 'I'm on it!'" Bumblebee activated the ground bridge. "Go get 'em guys!" cheered CrackerJack. "Autobots! Roll out!" ordered Optimus as he transformed into vehicle mode and drove into the ground bridge, while Arcee, and Bulkhead followed behind him. Once they were all at the other side, they transformed their hands into blasters and attacked the vehicon forces.

"Doctor to doctor, I must say, your contribution to the Decepticon cause is very much appericiated. I'll be sure to boast of your accomplisement when your gone." said Knockout as he held a container of cynfectic energon in one hand and transformed his other hand into a chainsaw "Which will happen in about 3, 2, 1...." Then they all heard some explosions coming from the end of the tunnel. "scrap!" whispered Knockout. When Knockout wasn't looking, Madalyn moved out of her hiding place and transformed her hand into a blaster. "Ratchet!" yelled Madalyn as she shots at Knockout out, knocking him down and droping the container of the energon. Madalyn run's over to Ratchet and help's him up. "Ratchet you alright?" asked Madalyn. "I'm fine. Listen, I can't say your name infront of the Decepticons, or your cover will be blown." whispered Ratchet. "So, I'll need like a codename or something?" whispered Madalyn. Knockout got back up, and charged at Ratchet and Madalyn. "Aura! Look out!" yelled Ratchet as he pushed Madalyn out of the way, and Knockout ran into him, and pushed him against the wall, trying to slice him with his chainsaw. "Aura? Oh, that must be the code name, Ratchet came up with." thought Madalyn.

Madalyn heard some blaster fire coming from down the otherside of the tunnel. "Must be the others." She turned her attention back to the fight with Ratchet and Knockout. Knockout's chainsaw was up against Ratchet's helm, scratching it alittle, with small sparks flying from it, Ratchet pushed the chainsaw out of the way, and headbutted Knockout in the head. Knockout backed up abit, while rubbing his forehead. Madalyn took the advantage and kicked Knockout in the back, against the rocky wall. Knockout's chainsaw got stuck in it, so once he landed, he tried pulling his chainsaw out of the wall. Ratchet and Madalyn walked over to the cynfectic container, and Ratchet picked it up. "Ha, ha, ha, ha, what are you going to? Drink it?" said Knockout. Ratchet looked at the container, then at Madalyn who gave him a 'don't do it look' look, then he looked at the hole in his stomach, and covered it with his other hand. "No.... I'm going to destroy it!" answered Ratchet. "Alright, Ratchet!" thought Madalyn. Ratchet threw the container at the wall next to Knockout and it shattered. Knockout finally pulled the chainsaw out of the wall, and saw the broken container on the ground. "You idiot! Megatron will have my head!" yelled Knockout. "Like we care! Right Ratchet?" asked Madalyn. Ratchet back up slowly then collapse to the ground, laying down on his back. "Ratchet!" yelled Madalyn as she knelt down beside him. Madalyn and Knockout saw the last vehicon get shot down, and in came Optimus, Arcee, and Bulkhead. "Till we meet again...... Aura!" said Knockout as he transformed into his vehicle mode and drove down the otherside of the tunnel. Optimus ran towards Ratchet, the knelt down next to Madalyn, while Arcee and Bulkhead joined them. "Is he gonna be alright, Optimus?" asked Madalyn. "He lost alot of cynfectic energon, let's get him back to base." ordered Optimus.

Back at the base, Ratchet was laying down on the medic-bed with an energon tube attached to the hole in his stomach. While he rested, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee were horting out the energon from the mine, and into the base. Madalyn was back in her human form, and she and her brother CrackerJack were watching the 'Bots bring in the energon. "Man! Look at all that energon! I've never seen it up close!" said CrackerJack. "This energon will be perfect to fill up our stockpile." said Arcee. CrackerJack saw Madalyn with her arms crossed and looking down at the floor. "Hey sis, you ok?" asked CrackerJack. "Oh, it's just, I'm worried about Ratchet that's all." answered Madalyn. "Well come on, let's go see how he's doing." said CrackerJack. Madalyn and CrackerJack ran to Ratchet's medic-bed where Optimus kept an eye on him. That's when Ratchet started to wake up. He started sitting up but Optimus stoped him. "Easy old friend. You lost alot of energon. Good and bad." said Optimus with a smile. "See! I told you he'd be alright!" said CrackerJack. "I... I didn't intend to hurt.... anyone I just.. wanted so badly to.." said Ratchet. "Help us. We know. But you almost caused the loss of something un-replacable. Our medic. And a most trusted friend." said Optimus. Ratchet smiled back. "You did lead us to a much needed energon supply." said Optimus as he showed Bulkhead and Bumblebee bring in more energon. "Yeah! Thanks to you we hit the motherload!" said CrackerJack. "And for that, we should all be thankfull." added Optimus. "The synfectic energon clearly needs refining before we can use it again. On machines, not Autobots." said Ratchet. "Let us take comfort in the fact that you were able to dispose of the substance that remained." said Optimus. "Yeah, no way were using that thing ever again!" said CrackerJack. Madalyn climbed on the medic bed and stood next to Ratchet. "And Ratchet, I didn't get a chance to thank you, for saving me from Knockout. And for coming up with that totally awesome autobot name for me! It has a nice ring to it." said Madalyn. "Ha, ha, I'm glad I could help." replyed Ratchet. "I never knew being an Autobot would be so difficult! You guys make it look so easy. It was so cool though! Knockout was all like 'Till we meet again Aura!' That was amazing! I need to tag along with you guys more often." said Madalyn.
