Cora's POV

Red, Blue, Richie, Ash, May, Brandon, Cynthia, Silver, Tobias and me got our one pokémon healed and ready for the semi finals.

All the trainers that were just watching went to take seats. The tent was kind of set up like a opera house. Anyway, May spoke again. "For the semi finals, it will be a double battle!" The crowd cheered as Red and Blue looked annoyed. They're not good at double battles. "We will have a random draw to see who gets paired." A butler came up to her with a bowl. She mixed the names around and picked two names at random. "The first trainer will be.........Richie!" Everyone looked over to Richie as he walked to the red side of the battle field. May then said the next named. "Your partner will be.......Ash!" Richie paled as Ash walked over to him. "Let's work together!" Ash motivated him.

"Now to pick the next trainers." May put her hand back in the bowl and started mixing again. 'Don't be me. Don't be me. Don't be me!' I thought to myself, hoping I didn't have to fight Richie. May pulls out to names. "This trainer is......Tobias!" May announced. Tobias walked over to the blue side. I may not know pokémon outside of kanto but I do know that he has some legendary pokemon on his team. I did some research before coming to Hoenn about all the pokémon, but only their names. "His partner will be....Drew!?" May announced shocked. 'Who's Drew???' I thought as a green hair boy, about a year younger than may, stepped forward. "Have a rose my lady~" Drew pulled out a rose from his sleeve and gave it to May. May, who is now blushing, accepted the rose and spoke to him. "Why was your name in the bowl?" May asked as she put the rose between a loose cloth in her dress. "I wanted to battle and prove that I'm better than you sweetie~" Drew said lustfully. May seemed a little ticked off and pulled one of her pokeball's off her belt. "Beautifly use sleep powder!" May commanded while pointing at him. Drew didn't have time to react and fell backwards from the attack. She returned her pokemon. "Sorry you had to see that!" May said as she got a butler to remove Drew from the battle field.

"Now then." May picks a new name from the bowl. "Your partner is....Cynthia!" The crowd goes wild as Cynthia makes her way to Tobias. "Looks like this time we'll be fighting together." She said as she pulls out a pokeball. "You may use as many pokémon you like and are allowed to switch during battle. Begin!!!!" May moves to the sidelines with us as the battle begins. "Go Greninja!" Ash sends out his Greninja. "Go Zippo!" Richie sent out his Charzard. "Go Garchomp." Cynthia sent out her unbeatable Garchomp. "Darkrai defeat them...." Tobias sends the legendary pokemon Darkrai to battle.

"Zippo use outrage on Garchomp!" Richie commanded. "Dodge and use dragon claw." Garchomp did as told and dodged the attack. "Greninja cover Zippo with water shuriken!" "Dark void.." Tobias commanded. Darkrai did as told and put Greninja to sleep before he can use water shuriken. Zippo was hit by dragon claw and fainted. It was basically a 1-hit KO! Richie returned Zippo to his pokeball. "Go Happy!" Richie sent out his Butterfree. "Greninja wake up!" Ash tries to wake Greninja up but it failed. He switched out Greninja and tossed a different pokeball to the field. "Krookodile use earthquake!" Krookodile used earthquake the moment it landed. Garchomp took little damage but it did do some. Darkrai took a huge blow but was still able to battle. Happy was not effected. "Happy use bug buzz on Darkrai!" Richie said as he point at Darkrai. "Darkrai use darkpulse." Darkrai was too slow charging the darkpulse and took the bug buzz head on. Darkrai fainted. "Garchomp use fire fang!" Garchomp used fire fang on Happy knocking her out in one hit.

'Richie only has one Pokemon left.....can he win?' I thought to myself as I see the battle rage on. 'You know for a Team Rocket member, you're surprisingly innocent.' A voice told me in my head. I was so distracted that I forgot the battle. When I focused again, Ash and Richie lost to Tobias Latios. "W-What happened???" I asked no one in particular. 'Your friend lost the battle. This lowered your chance to get the blue orb.' The voice answered my poorly aimed question. 'Who are you?' I asked in my thoughts. "Next will be a triple battle in tribute of the Kalos region going the international Pokemon league." May announced. "Wait. What?" I asked not fully understanding what a triple battle was.

Hello fellow wattpaders! I present to you chapter 6. Was that to formal? I feel like that was to formal. Anyway this chapter was easier to write then chapter 5 was. And I know the DrewXMay shippers are probably happy by now. *looks at shippers*

Oh and everyone is not 10-12 years old. This story is 8 years to the future from the start of the game and anime which means Red and Blue are around 23ish? Gold and Silver 20ish. May, Brandon, Drew,Richie and Ash between 18-20. The older ones like Cynthia, Iris, Alder, N, and Tobias are a few years older than when they were introduced. Cora is the only 16 year old here. Hope that cleared something up.

As for the tournament, yes I noticed there can't be anymore double battles. So why not triple? Than after that there will be three left and in honor of sun and moon, they will have to do that free for all battle thingy.
