Cora's POV

We left our hotel and headed towards the huge tent which the ball was being held. I looked over to Richie just as Sparky almost fell off his shoulder by looking at the top of the tent. "Are you ready?" I asked as I finished brushing my hair with a portable brush. "Yeah. Let's get the blue orb...." We walked in the tent.

My eyes widen as I see how big the inside was. I also saw how many trainers were here, and champions of each region. Even past champions are here. Red, Gold, Blue, Brandon, Steven, Wallace, Lance, Iris, Alder, Diantha, Cynthia, N, and May. But that was just the champions, there are also really strong trainers here as well. Gary, Ash, Tobias I think it was his name, and many more that I have no idea who they are. I looked over to Richie as he locked eyes with Ash. "We have to make this quick bef-" he was interrupted by a hand on his shoulder. "Richie? What are you doing here?" Ash asked as Sparky and Pikachu started to have a conversation. I managed to get away before Ash even noticed me.

Giovanni's POV

I wait patiently in my swivel chair as I stare down at my top agents. "You are to assist Cora Lexus in her mission to retrieve the blue orb." I told them with a stare that can make a legendary quiver in fear. "Yes boss." The three said as they disappear. My persion wanted to be petted, so I pet her.

May's POV

'So many people here....' I thought as I danced with Brandon. The ballroom was beautiful as it was filled with bubbles from the water pokemon above us. The bubbles shine a brilliant purple as the light hit them.

Red's POV

'Something is wrong....' I thought as I danced with Cynthia. 'You should not worry and have fun for a change Red.' I hear a voice tell me in my head. 'Your right Mewtwo. I'm probably over thinking it.' I focused on dancing for now.

Cora's POV

Managed to dance my way through with a guy named Barry. He's a talker that's for sure. The music stop and I got way from Barry before he wants to dance again. I tap May's shoulder to get her attention. "Uh hi, can I have a battle?" I asked. I borrowed a Pokemon from the boss before I came.

May's POV

"Of course." I told the young girl. I cleared my throat for a announcement. "Ladies and gentleman. The tournament is about to begin. If you have not signed up yet please do so now." I point to a table that says 'sign up'. "The winner will get the blue orb." It was being presented as a prize because someone else needed to be its protector.

"This will be a one Pokemon per battle each battle. First up, Red versus Diantha."

Cora's POV

I watch Red and Diantha go to each side of the arena. Red tossed a pokeball to revile his Alakazam. Diantha sent out her gardevoir. There was a bright light and the next thing I know, Alakazam and Gardevoir changed appearance. I remember reading about this, it's mega evolution if I'm right. After some time of battling, Red won against Diantha.

Next was Gold versus Blue. Gold sent out his Sudowoodo and Blue sent out his Golduck. Blue win the match from type advantage.

Next was Gary versus Richie. Gary sent out his Blastoise and Richie sent Sparky. It was a very close match but Richie won from volt tackle.

Next was me and Iris. I sent out the borrowed Pokemon which was a salamance and Iris sent out a Haxorus. Salamance used Draco meteor and defeated the Haxorus in one shot. The rest of the battles were won easily.

May beat Steven, Brandon beat Wallace, Cynthia beat Lance, Ash beat Alder, Tobias beat Barry, and Silver beat N.

"We will continue to the semi finals after you get your Pokemon healed" May said as she went to a healing machine.

'All I need to do is beat everyone else....I need to....' I thought as I healed salamance.
