Cora's POV

We arrive at HQ only to be welcomed by Giovanni and some grunts. He smiles as Bill slowly regains consciousness.

"Well done Cora. You trained your grunts well." Giovanni complemented. "Take him to the integration room." He order the other grunts.

Me, and everyone else, dismount Flugdrake and entered HQ.

As we waited for orders, I took the time to check the new pokemon I've caught. It was very hostile when I released it from the pokeball.

Rockruff
The puppy pokemon
Rockruff has an excellent sense of smell, and once it has smelled an odor, it doesn’t forget it! There are tales of these Pokémon getting separated from their Trainers, then using the faintest traces of their scent to track them for days until they are reunited!

Rockruff is a sociable Pokémon, but as it grows, its disposition gets wilder. If it begins to howl when the sun goes down, that is proof that it’s close to evolving. It’s said that it leaves its Trainer’s side to evolve and returns again when fully evolved.

This Rockruff is level 3. It doesn't know many moves yet.

The Rockruff was in a attack stance growling ferociously. I sent Trig and Declan out to talk with it and to try to win it over.

~One hour later~

Rockruff seems to be calm now. Declan and Trig must of convinced it pretty well. I wonder what they told it.

Pokespeech is in bold and POV is set to normal.

Declan: I hope you calmed down now. He put a paw on Rockruff's shoulder.

Trig: You'll like traveling with Cora. We do all sorts of fun activities!

Rockruff: I...guess so. It wouldn't hurt to travel for a bit... He walks up to Cora and rubs the pebbles on his neck against her leg.

Cora: Oh? I guess you managed to turn him around.

Declan: Yes but only for a short while.

Cora: can you ask him how he got to this region?

Declan: I will. Rockruff, how did you arrive here?

Rockruff: I was woth my trainer at a trial. Then these people in gold snatched me away and knocked me unconscious.

Trig: You were pokenapped?

Rockruff let out a small whimper causing Cora to pick him up. She pet him till he calmed down to finish his story.

Rockruff: When I finally regain consciousness, I was in a cage in a room full of abused pokemon. He shudders at the memory. The handlers would take a random pokemon to the back room where they would conduct 'Experiments'. A Pikachu went in the back room once and came out without a tail and it's red cheeks.

Declan: That's horrible! He quickly translate to Cora. How did you escape?

Rockruff: I didn't... He start to sob quietly. Trig, Declan and Cora can see the tears roll down Rockruff's cheeks. I was picked to go to the back room. They removed one of my pebbles and put some sort of device in it's place. He tilts his head to show a different colored pebble. They also cut open my belly and put a device there too. He lays on his back to show a large scar down his belly. They said it would make me stronger but all it brought was pain. So much pain! He let's him cry.

This attracted the rest of Cora's group. She explained to them what was happening with the help of Declan to correct a few things. Trig starts to comfort Rockruff while Giovanni approaches Cora.

Giovanni: I have a mission for you.

He notices the Rockruff crying and Vulpix patting it's back.

Giovanni: Am I interrupting something?

Cora: No. It's just this pokemon has been through alot.

Giovanni: Good. Now then, I received information that Red and his companions our headed to Viridian Forest. I want you to go and stop them before they find this place.

Cora: Yes sir.

Giovanni leaves without looking at the sobbing pokemon. Cora starts to thinks of ways to stop Red, Leo and Cake without fighting them. She couldn't think of a way.

Cora: sigh I guess I have no choice...

I tried a new way of telling this story as well as introducing Rockruff.

I would like to hear your questions since I'm pretty sure you have a few by now.

Also I will need a nickname for Rockruff. You know, to keep this little tradition Cora has.
