Cora's POV

I woke up more early than usual to try and catch the singing guy before he disappears. I returned everyone to their pokeballs and left my room. I wait outside the person's door to meet them. As I wait, I hear Cake's door open. "Good morning Vermillion!" She says loudly. She seems more confident today. "Cora let's go on a shopping spree!" She takes my arm and runs down the hall through the front door of the hotel.

Red's POV

"Shopping spree!" I jolt up at the booming voice which reminded me of Green. If I want to hide from Blue and Green, I should change what I wear. I get up and change into the clothes people know me by. I leave my room to the lobby to return my room key. As I was about to leave the hotel, I bump into a kid on my way out.

Leo's POV

I woke up to Cake's usual morning greeting and take a quick shower.

~one shower later~

I finished getting dressed into new clothes that I been meaning to wear for a while and leave my room with Layla on my shoulder. I bumped into someone on my way out and widen my eyes at who I saw. It was the Champion of Kanto himself, Red. I quickly get up and offer my hand to help him up. He accepts and I pull him up. "Sorry, I was in a hurry..." I apologized and bowed. "I was going after my friends and wasn't paying attention." I told him. Red just looked at me. "I'll help you train." He tells me. I'm speechless, I wanted to say 'thank you' but I couldn't make words. "Under one condition." He lifts one finger. "I join your little group."

~At the store~

Cora's POV

"Cake are you sure about this?" I ask her. She dragged me all the way to Celadon city for the mall. We were certainly in the cloths department trying on new outfits and styles. Cake found a outfit that suits her pretty well. It was a pink blouse, a pair of frayed denim shorts faded black color. low-heeled black sandals. I on the other hand, got a blue striped halter top, black casual shorts, and black sporty sneakers.

"So why did you drag me to Celadon city to go shopping?" I ask her. Cake pays for the clothes and turns to me. "I didn't want your job to change the way I think of you so I decided to take you shopping and have a friend day." We went to a nearby food stand for a snack.

Breaking News: Team Rocket has invaded Hoenn during a ball that the champion hosted for the strongest trainers and champions of the world. The ball was to determine who would be the new guardian of the blue orb. The orb that summons Kyogre. In a fierce battle to insure the orbs safety, Team Rocket has stolen the orb! We have leads on one of the members of this evil organization, Cora Lexus, 16 years of age and is a rank 3 grunt. She is extremely dangerous and should be dealt with great caution. I widen my eyes and looked behind me to see several heavily armed officers and pokemon. "Put your hands in the air!" Officer A yelled. I put my hand around Salamence's pokeball. "Put your hands in the air!!" Officer B yelled too. I grabbed the pokeball and put my hands in the air. I looked around carefully to find a way out. "Drop the pokeball!" Officer A yelled. I dropped the ball and yelled. "Hyper Beam!" Salamence popped out of the pokeball and glared at the officers and their pokemon. Salamence unleashed a powerful hyper beam at them. The side of the building was blown away by the attack and created an a massive opening. I saw this as an escape route. I jumped on salamence back. "Cake jump on!" I called out. Cake jumped on and I commanded salamence to fly back to Vermillion city.

"Dragon pulse!" I hear someone yell behind us. I dragon pulse flew by us almost hitting salamence. Me and Cake looked behind to see who tried to hit us to see that the officers have Dragonites. 'Salamence has draco meteor, hyper beam, flamethrower and dragon claw. I'll have to use dragon claw to avoid the sp.atk drop from draco meteor.' "Salamence use dragon claw!" Salamence turn quickly around and slashed the dragonite's chest with a powerful dragon claw. The dragonite probably fainted since it stopped flapping it's wings and started falling. We continued our flight back to vermillion. "Cora why are we going?" Cake asked over the sound of wind passing us. "Back to Vermillion City. We still need to get Leo." I told her. We flew over route 6 and saw Leo walking along the path. I told Salamence to land somewhere nearby so we can meet up him. We landed with a loud thud because of Salamence's weight 'He should really cut back on the ice cream...' I returned him to his pokeball for some rest.

Me and Cake walked over to where Leo was but stopped about 30 feet away. "Great job Layla! You gained another level!" We hear Leo yell happily. We sneaked over to a boulder and hid behind it. Who was he training with? "Good job Leo and Layla." I hear a sort of mysterious voice say. It wasn't sound but it was projected like it was. Infact, I remember that voice. I widen my eyes when I realized whose voice it was. It was Mewtwo. Cake saw my shocked expression and asked what was wrong but I couldn't speak. "Oh? Glad to meet again Cora." I hear Mewtwo's voice in my head once more. I get up to make a run for it but I freeze in my tracks. I couldn't move my body and noticed that there was a faint blue glow around me. I slowly rise off the ground and start to hover over to where Mewtwo was. ".............." Red came out of the trees and stood next to Mewtwo. I noticed he changed his clothes. He wore blue jeans, a white shirt with red short sleeves and has some symbol now the shirt. He is also wearing a red hat with a white pokeball insignia. Oh and a yellow backpack. He looks at Mewtwo as Mewtwo looks back at him. They seem to have some kind of mental conversation. The blue glow disappears and I fall to the ground. "What was that for?" I asked them dusting myself off. "We'll be traveling with your group for a while." Mewtwo informs me via telepathy. I just nod and look at Leo. He also had a wardrobe change as well. He wore blue pants, a blue shirt with a lighter shade of blue for stripes on it, and a dark blue headband with a white pokeball insignia. "I bumped into him at the hotel. Red said that he's hiding from Blue and that girl Green." Leo said. Red nods his head in agreement and returns Mewtwo into a master ball.
