Cora's P.O.V

"Let's see after stealing a Pokemon you head back to the base right?" I asked my teacher.

"NO!! You never come straight to the base after you go the other way and disappear so the policeman can't follow you!" He said.

"Oh ok." I replied. "Go on break you have ten minutes." He told me. I and the rest of the class got up to stretch are legs after 4 hours of that boring lesson. Here at the Team Rocket recruitment camp we learn how to mug people for their Pokemon and tribute to their true plan. I'm Cora Lexus, 16 years of age, 5'7" tall and I'm a rank 1 Rocket grunt. Well 47% of Team Rocket is rank 1 because they lost to some 10 year old kid a few years back. His name was a color...Blue? No...Red? Yeah it was Red, the kanto champion. Then two years after that it was Gold. Then 5 years after that there was reports of a boy named Ash with a very strong Pikachu. But I think my teacher Blake..no...Butch and his partner Cassidy told me that three of Team Rockets idiots are after him. Jessie, James and Meowth I think was their names.

Anyway, rank 1 grunts can only have up to 3 Pokemon. I only have one at the moment because I'm still in training. I have a level 7 Vulpix named Trig. All he know is ember, tailwhip, and roar. He has the drought ability so he's a little special. I have a fire stone for him but I'll evolve him when he get to maybe level 45.

"Time's up back to class you have a test to do!" Butch said as we started to enter the main building. The area the camp is located is viridian forest far from the road in the deep forest. A 5 day trip on foot to viridian city and 2 days by car.

"Listen up! Your test results will determine if you stay or not. If you fail your memory will be wipe clean and you'll be dumped by the Pokemon Center in viridian city. If you pass you will be able to go on missions like the other grunts. Your test is a mission, you will go in viridian forest and return with the items on the list I will pass out to you." He states as he pass the list.

"You have 2 days to retrieve these items either steal them from trainers or find them in the forest. We have rank 5 grunts near the road just in case one of you stumble that way they will help you back in the forest to continue your test. On your mark! GET SET?! GO!!!"

We dashed out of the room to the forest to get the items on the list. About five minutes pass and I already found 5 revives and 2 escape ropes. As I walked through the dense forest I could hear the Pokemon all around, Caterpie, Pikachu, Pidgey, Weedle, Metapod, Beedrill Butterfree, there's rumors of a level 95 Raichu in viridian forest but no one has seen it yet.

Walking a bit more I bumped in to another student taking the test. He was my friend that is also rank 1 but he has 2 Pokemon with him. He has more but he doesn't want Team Rocket to know. His Pikachu, Sparky, which is level 56 was on his shoulder. Sarah, his Eevee was in her pokeball. "Hi Cora. How is your list coming along?" "You tell me. 5 revives and 2 escape ropes." I told him. "5 revives! How did you get 5 revives?!" "There was a river over there and I found a trainer bag I guess the owner was swimming." I said as I spotted a rare candy. "Well I got to go and finish up my list bye!" And he left.

I don't know if I can find grea-AH HA!" I see two great balls near a tree root. "Great balls, check!" 'Now it's just the potions, escape rope and rare Pokemon!' I thought as I walk deeper into viridian forest. Five minutes of walking got me the last escape rope, and 5 potions. Now all is left is the rare Pokemon.

An hour pass since I found the potions and it's getting dark. I check my pokenav and it's 10:45pm. "It's getting late I should rest." I told my self as I laid a blanket down.

~time skip to 6:30am~

I woke up to my alarm on my pokenav. "Ok now rare Pokemon hunting." I sarcastically said. I got up and packed my blanket and started to make my way back to the camp and hopefully find a rare Pokemon on the way.

4 hours pass and I made it back to camp with no luck of a rare Pokemon. So I went back to the forest to try again we still have time so it's fine.

I see a Pokemon in the distance and I don't recognize it so it's not from Kanto. I uncliped a empty pokeball and threw it at the rare Pokemon and caught it.

"Let's see what you are." I pulled out my Pokemon identification device or P.I.D and scanned the pokeball. The Pokemon was a...
