'Stop Screaming damn it!' Sameer shouted, 'it's me, Sameer!'
He could not believe that these girls could be so childish and coward. How could they just get scared and not fight back? This was even more disappointing than this trip.
'No!!!' Rhidhima and Siya cried continuously while Kaira calmed herself down and stepped out of the car.
'Oye! Shut up you two! It's Sameer!' She announced and looked over to the other side of the car where Armaan was standing with his hands on his head, 'and Armaan!'
After Listening to Kaira's words, Siya carelessly jumped out of the car and hugged her brother, 'Sameer! I am glad you are here,' she said, wrapping her arms around her brother. She was relieved after seeing him but deep down she knew what she had put herself into. Even after her father's and Sameer's strict warning, she had visited that pond and that too without letting anyone know. Although Siya stood there, holding her brother tightly, her heart was pounding louder and louder. She knew Sameer was acting all calm and caring right now but after everyone is gone, he will drop a bomb of questions at her.
'I am glad you guys are here,' Rhidhima got out of the car, 'the car stopped unexpectedly and there was no network in this area,' she sighed.
'Yeah,' Kaira joined in, 'and Siya even thought we were going to die tonight,' she announced and stuck her tongue out at Siya while Siya nudged her with her elbow and frowned at her.
Is this some kind of a payback thing for mocking you this morning? Siya thought.
'Come on, let's go home. We can get this picked up tomorrow,' Sameer ordered without paying any attention to what everyone was talking about. He was always like that. Whenever he gets angry, his neutral and ignorant personality takes over until he is ready to blow up.
The car ride was rather more awkward for Siya as Armaan had volunteered to drive and she had ended up sitting right behind him. Not once, not twice but seven times she found herself being watched through the rear view mirror by this gorgeous creature who smiled at her everytime their eyes met.
Although Siya felt like she could just look into those beautiful Brown eyes for as long as possible; every time she looked into Armaan's eyes, chills would run down her spine, making her shiver. She could feel her cheeks going red and so she would look away only to avoid looking stupid.
Siya tried getting involved in a conversation with Kaira and Rhidhima but that did not really help much. The only two things she could think about at that time were Sameer's silence and Armaan's penetrating gaze.
When everyone got out of the car, Siya felt like she had to thank Armaan for helping but she didn't know how so she briefly smiled at him and went inside her house, waiting for Sameer to follow her and start the game of twenty questions.
A couple of hours earlier Siya's heart was pounding as hard as it could but now she did not really care about Sameer's questions. She just felt happy. A weird tingling sensation rushed through her body and she felt like she could fly high up in the sky. It was not normal for her as she was supposed to be nervous about Sameer being angry. After all, he was the one who always stood up against Mr. Raichand for her. If he gets angry, it could mean that she would end up with no back up support until he cools down. And when Sameer gets angry, it could last for months.
Sameer did not question Siya when he came inside. He just quietly went to his room and the his bedroom's lights were turned off shortly after. It did force Siya into thinking what was wrong with Sameer. No complaints and no questions? Now this was Scary!
That night Siya couldn't stop thinking about what Sameer was up to. It would have been much better to get over with those questions in the middle of the night rather than waiting to meet up at the breakfast table. It was so hard to decide if this wait was for good or for bad. Giving up on those disturbing thoughts, Siya decided to sit on her favorite rocking chair that was kept in the balcony of her bedroom but not without a bar of chocolate and the new teddy she had received an anonymous guest.
On the other hand Armaan couldn't find any comfort in his new bed either. This time, every time he closed his eyes, Siya's innocent eyes would appear in front of him. Her face when she had to look away in an attempt of hiding her red cheeks from him was so adorable that now it wouldn't let Armaan sleep. How could he be thinking so much about a random girl? He kept on thinking.
To distract himself from Siya's thoughts, Armaan decided to take a short walk to the kitchen where Kaira and Rhidhima were still eating like pigs. While walking past the living room, he noticed a moving figure in Raichand Mansion's balcony through a slight gap between the two long curtains. When he went up closer, he realised that it was Siya seating herself on a huge wooden chair.
Armaan quickly ran back to his room and slightly opened the curtains of his window. Just enough to peek through. A smile appeared on his face and he did his yes! gesture when his eyes fell up on the brown teddy he had gifted Siya for her birthday.
Before gifting that teddy, Armaan was a hundred percent sure that the 'stranger' would like it. After all, all the girls in the entire world are in love with Teddybears. But when he ended up not getting a thank you message like everyone else did, he began to doubt his knowledge about girls because if not having his number was an issue then Siya could have walked across the street. How long does it take anyway?
