It was around 9:30 when some one impatiently banged on Armaan's bedroom door. He had just pulled his blanket over his head and was lazy enough to go all the way to the door to open it so he just yelled, asking who was it.
He had expected that it was either his aunt asking him to have some more pudding or Kaira wanting tell him how boring her day was.

In the past week, Armaan had grown closer to Kaira maybe because she was the only one treating him normally or because they had so much common to talk about. Whatever the reason was, they were enjoying each other's company.

Armaan secretly wished it was Kaira behind the door but no, It was Sameer, 'come on man, open up!' He yelled in his loud and deep voice, still knocking on the door.

When Armaan opened the door, Sameer attacked him with questions, 'where is my sister? Where.. Where are your cousins? Did they tell you anything? You know where they went? Come on! speak up?'

'Woah! Dude relax!' Armaan raised his hands in the air and took a step back.

'My sister is missing and so are yours. I don't have any time to relax and neither do you!' Sameer snapped at Armaan.

Armaan pulled out his phone and checked his chat with Kaira. Luckily, her location services were turned on, 'this,' he passed his phone to Sameer, 'she was here when she last messaged me.'

'Shit!' Sameer shouted, 'I have to make a move now, you wanna come?' He offer Armaan who could already figure out that these girls have put themselves into a deep pile of shit. Without questioning, Armaan picked up his jacket and closed his bedroom door behind him.

While Siya continuously checked her phone for network and Rhidhima tried figuring out what was wrong with the car, Kaira did no help.

'Bloody hell!' She shouted as she walked up and down the road, 'are you a hundred percent sure that it's the original Lexus? Darn this car!'

'For heaven's sake, Kaira Shut up!' Siya and Rhidhima screamed at the same time.

'Either be useful or zip it!' Siya ordered. Her tone suggested that she was really pissed off right now so Kaira didn't argue further. Having a fight on an isolated highway was not a nice idea, was it?

'By the way there was signal near the pond,' Kaira announced.

Siya and Rhidhima stopped what they were doing and looked at Kaira in disbelief. 'Seriously Kaira? Now you are telling us that?' Rhidhima questioned.

If Kaira would have told them earlier, then the girls could have already walked back to the pond and called for help. But now it was near impossible as it would take over two hours to do so and to add a bit more problems, their phone batteries were also dying and their only source of light was the moon.

'Do you think we are going to starve to death here?' Siya asked, getting back in the car.

'Hell no! There is so much left to do in life,' Rhidhima joined her as she sat on the front passenger seat.

'You guys! I don't want to die virgin!' Kaira complained.

Seriously, only Kaira could come up with such things even in the most difficult times. All she cared about right now was her virginity? Really? Rhidhima and Siya shrugged off and looked in different directions.

'Guess we will just have to wait,' Siya spoke up after a long pause, 'hopefully someone would come looking for us.' She knew that she would be getting in deep trouble when her family finds out about this trip but right now all she wanted was for someone to come looking for her.

'Keep looking,' Sameer ordered as he drove closer and closer to the pond, 'it's a red Lexus.'

Armaan nodded and kept his eyes on both sides of the road but the vision was limited as there were no street lights in this area. It was nearly 11:30pm right now and the girls were nowhere to be seen.

All sorts of things were going on in Sameer's mind. Why did Siya even go there? He kept on asking himself. What if something went wrong with her just like it did with Anjali?
Siya was very little when they visited this place last time and all she remembered about that trip was that Anjali had gone missing but what she did not remember was that what exactly happened to her during those few hours.

As the car took a turn around a curve, Armaan noticed a flash of light cutting through a few trees.
'There,' he pointed out, 'follow that light,' he said, bringing Sameer back to the reality.

Siya had just locked the doors of the car when a hand landed on the glass of the front window. It was big and scary! While the hand rapidly banged on the window, it's owner called out for someone to open the door.

Soon there were multiple hands on either side of the car. The girls just shut their eyes, covered their ears and waited for what else this night had in store for them.

They screamed their lungs out, 'no way!! No freaking way!' They cried.
