Needing supplies for the Ghost, Hera had sent her crew - minus Chopper who was helping with some of the ship's repairs - into Capital City with a check list. They were walking around the many streets when Zeb, curious with something that had popped into his head, spoke up "hey kid" he called out to the youngest crew member "how did you survive on the streets if you didn't have any credits??" he asked. The question took his friends by surprised, though it make both Kanan and Sabine wonder the same thing and want to know the answer "how did you survive living on the streets??" the girl repeated "you have no credits, no food, no water". Smirking, Ezra chuckled as he patted the lasat on the back "I'll show you big guy" and with that, he raced off towards a crowd of towns folk. "What's the kid doing??" Sabine wondered out loud, only to receive two shrugs from her male friends; they stood still, patiently waiting to see what was about to happen. They sure weren't ready for it.

Once the whole 'show' was over, the teenager ran over and returned to his stunned and shocked crew. "And that, my friends, is how I survived living on the streets of Capital City" he declared; his crew members were actually speechless, earning a chuckle from Ezra "come on" he waved towards the exit of the town "let's head back to the ghost". During his performace, the teenager had collected the last few items on the list; they had all they needed. On their journey back, however, the crew noticed how silent Ezra had become and looked behind them to see he was a few feet away, his face showing a look of both sadness and pain. "Hey Ezra" Sabine called out, her voice stained with concern "what's wrong??" she asked; the boy only sighed before beginning to sing.

Understanding what he meant, Kanan wrapped an arm around his padawan's shoulders and pulled him into his side "there is so much more to you Ezra" he agreed with a smile "an we are lucky and happy to see that" they all agreed with his words, earning a small smile from Ezra who thanked them.
