"Ava, it's not a dating app it's a place to meet people and maybe go out with them."

"So a dating app. Juli, you're desperate."

"No I'm not. I just really want to meet people and date someone and that stung." My phone dinged.

"I got another guy!" I viewed his profile. Same interest, but I didn't like his picture. Rejected. Ava sighed.

"Juli, you're never gonna get a date with those standards."

"Pssh I'm desperate but not that desperate."

"Why don't you have a profile picture?"

"Because I don't want people judging me by how I look."

"But you don't mind judging people by their looks"

"Exactly." She rolled her eyes.

"Wow Juli I never knew you were that desperate. It's a sad life you live in." I jumped. I didn't notice Kyle sneak up behind me. Kyle and Ava are siblings. Twins actually. Ava's older by two days. Right now I'm chilling at their house.

"What do you want Kyle and I'm not desperate I'm just trying to make friends."

"Whatever." I noticed he had his phone on. "What are you doing on your phone?" has cheeks started began to heat up. I bet they were hot enough to roast marshmallows. (I'm hungry don't judge) Ava saw what was on his screen.She gave him a look. His cheeks burned even more.

"Don't look at me that way." He walked away.

"What was on his on his phone?" She pondered for a moment then smirked.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" She went to Kyle. Whatever. I exited my dating app and switched on the TV. I could hear Kyle and Ava whispering. I turned up the volume. I've known Kyle and Ava since we were babies sucking fingers. They stopped. I've always been best friends with them. Ava has a boyfriend but still makes time to hang with us. Recently she been trying to set me up with people, but I had other plans. Another guy on the dating out wants to go out with me. He has the same interests as me, but he didn't have a picture? I wonder what he looks like? I accepted him. He probably super hot that's he didn't put a picture. He didn't want girls he didn't like to like him. Ha. A girl can dream. I guess I'll give him a shot. It could be fun and who know he could be nice. Scratch that. Any guy that calls himself 'HotStuff' Is definitely not what I call 'nice'. Eh I'll text to him just to prove my point.
