I stood there shocked

"How do you know my name?" I asked him, then he just chuckled.

"I've known you since you were just a little girl. If you can remember correctly, I was your father's coworker" he answered. Then I started having a flashback.

*flashback*

I was standing behind my mommy as a big man walked in the door. He shook my daddy's hand then walked past me and mommy and into the living room. Mommy followed as I stayed close behind. Once we stood at the door of the living room daddy looked up.

"Oh Hank this is my wife Melissa and my daughter Luna" the big man walked over to mommy and shook her hand, then he bent down to shake mine. I quickly hid my face in mommy's long, navy blue dress.

"Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you"

*flashback over*

I came back to reality a little surprised. I looked up at Hank.

"I..it's you, but why are you a wolf. What happened to you?" He looked down and sighed.

"I was once a good man, but greed took over me. I was working on a serum to make a human stronger, but it didn't go so well. I put the needle into my arm and a few days later I was screaming in pain as fur started growing out everywhere and I grew taller. I didn't know what had happened, but I felt powerful. Greed took over and I started creating more serums and soon I had about one million. After several years it starts to go away. I regret everything I have done to these poor, innocent people" he finished.

"I wish I could change them back" he replied sadly. I then heard a knock on the door. I turned as Hank told the wolf to enter. Theron walked in and I smiled. He walked up next to me.

"Sir, River and Jackson are fighting again" he informed and I immediately tensed up. Jake squeezed my shoulder to reassure me that things are going to be ok. I looked to him and smiled.

"Well then stop them, I cant loose another one" Hank murmured. Theron nodded and walked out. Hank sighed and rubbed his forehead.

"I swear those two are going to kill each other" he whispered to himself. I looked at him.

"Hank if you want to save those people, then let us go. I have a secret stash of chemicals in my village. I could create a formula to change them back. To change you back" he looked up slowly. I stared into his deep brown eyes. The more I looked more kindness I saw. He still had good in him. He stared for a few more seconds.

"Are you sure you can do that?" He asked me doubtfully. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Yeah I can do it" he nodded.

"Ok you can go I'll have someone show you a secret way out" I looked at him confused.

"But all of those wolves are to evil, there is only one...." He cut me off as he grabbed a microphone.

"Bring Theron to my office" he talked into the microphone and a few minutes later there was a knock on the door.

"Come in Theron" Hank said. Theron walked in and stood beside me once again.

"You needed me sir" he said.

"I need you to take these people home. Please don't tell anyone about this, am I clear?" He asked and Theron nodded. He walked around us and walked out a door close to Hank's desk. We followed him until we got outside. It was somewhat dark. We must have been in there for awhile. Theron turned to us.

"We're gonna have to find a place to stay, but it cat be near here. Which way is your village?" He asked looking towards me. I looked around as something came to mind. My conversation with Aaron.

"West, we need to go west" I said and started walking, but was stopped. I turned and saw Theron holding me back.

"Theron what's wrong?" I asked. He smiled his weird, toothy smile.

"I know a faster way" he answered and got down on all four legs.

"Get on" he somewhat ordered.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Jake questioned him. Theron turned to look at us.

"Nope" he replied. With a little hesitation, Jake climbed on close to his shoulders. He turned to me.

"Come on, Luna" Jake said. I slowly got on. Without warning Theron took off running west. Did I mention that they can run super fast? I quickly wrapped my arms around Jake's waist tightly, but not to tight. Theron kept running for about an hour then slowed to a stop. We got off and Theron stood up.

"We can stay here for the night" he said, then went to go sleep up against a tree. Since Theron is just an oversized wolf, he still slept like a dog. You know walking in circles, then laying down. It was silent as me and Jake stood there. I looked up at the beautiful night sky.

"I told you we would get out" I turned to my right side. Jake was looking up as we'll, then he turned to me. I smiled.

"Yeah you were" I said then looked back up. I then felt something on my hands. I looked down and saw Jake's hands connected with mine. I looked up at Jake and he was smiling. I smiled back and stared into his eyes. He started leaning in until I looked down.

"You never did tell me why you stayed up last night" I reminded him then looked up seeing Jake's nose about an inch or two away from touching mine. He sighed and looked into my eyes.

"This is going to sound creepy, but I was watching you. I was making sure that you were ok then I realized that you could live without me..." I cut him off.

"I can't live without you. I'm glad I met you. You are an amazing person. I couldn't dream of living a life without you. You've changed me" I finished and without further hesitation I pressed my cold lips to his warm ones. I quickly pulled back, leaving him stunned, and walked over to Theron. I laid down resting my head on Theron's back. I soon heard footsteps coming closer, then an arm being draped over my waist. I smiled instantly and closed my eyes. As I was drifting off to sleep I felt a kiss to the back of my head.

"Goodnight" was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep.
