We walked to the fire where everyone else is and sat down on a log. They were talking about random thins like how Sam found a bear in the forest and how Cameron killed his first animal. It was amazing how our family got a long so well. I looked over to Aaron and saw that he was flicking his head to the right, well my right. I nodded knowing that he wanted to talk. I turned to Jake.

"I'll be right back ok?" He nodded "go talk to some people alright" I said and he just nodded again. I got up and walked to where Aaron was standing. I faced towards him.

"Who is that guy?" He asked. I sighed knowing this question would come up.

"Is that all you wanted to talk about? Aaron whenever you need to talk to me you always tell me something important" I said almost on the verge of yelling. He shushed me and put his hands over my mouth. They smelled of vanilla. He must've found a vanilla plant nearby (there actually is such a plant).

He uncovered my mouth and continued talking.

"Alright alright, but be quiet. I may have found the wolves lair, but you can't tell anyone cause I'm not sure if it's actually it" he finished and my mouth opened wide. He smiled knowing that he now has my attention. I stared at him wide eyed.

"Can you tell me how you found it?" I asked. He nodded.

"Ok so me and Jason were walking through the forest when we got separated. I started walking east and continued on the trail for about two hours. Then I heard something. It sounded like a howl, but much more hoarse. I followed it until I found the place that it was coming from and I saw a cave. I believe that's the wolves lair" he finished.

"Wow that's ama....." Then I stopped when I heard a noise from outside the village. Me and Aaron walked over to the fire and I stood by Jake who seemed to have been talking to Josh. I leaned up as close as I could to his ear and whispered.

"Did you hear something coming from outside the village" he nodded.

"Yeah I did" I looked around at everyone still talking. They haven't seemed to have noticed us not listening. I looked back to the forest. The cold, dank, dark forest where anything could snatch you up and take you away never to be seen again. I leaned back up to his ear.

"You wanna go out there and see what's making that noise?" I questioned, then he nodded while smiling down at me. I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the forest while everyone else was busy talking. We ran and ran until the fire shining from the village was nothing but a speck. We just stood there. I was never one to be scared, but this night was different. Very different. You see when the plague started five years ago I kept track of what day it was. And today, well today was Halloween. It was ok to be scared on this day. Or is it. I heard something behind me and turned around immediately, but saw nothing but a little old bunny. I walked up to it and tried picking it up when I heard a heavy breathing behind me. I rolled my eyes.

"Jake stop trying to scare me. It's not going to work just because it's Halloween" I said then turned around, but didn't like what I saw. Two wolves were behind ms and one had Jake in his hands and covering his mouth so he couldn't talk very well. Then the other grabbed me and put a bag over my head. It felt like he started running because I felt wind on my legs. Then all of the sudden my head hit something hard and my vision went black.

Hey guys, ninja_of_steel here and I absolutely love this book, but I feel as if other people don't. I mean I just very recently uploaded an Anthem Lights One Shot book and that has more views than this one. Does nobody like this book cause if you don't then I'll stop putting up chapters.
