I was running through the forest as fast as my small legs could carry me. I looked over my shoulder to see if it was still following me. I didn't see anything so I slowed to a stop. As I turned forward I saw its pitch black eyes gleaming in the moonlight. I flinched back, then turned the other way and saw another with its sharp, menacing teeth bared back and ready to pounce. They were surrounding me. I had no where to go. The creatures were black as night and quick like a cheetah. They were also light on they're feet so that, even if you tried, you couldn't hear them. I reached behind me and pulled out my handmade, two edged, sword out of its leather crafted case. I got into my battle stance and got ready to take them down. I waited for a sign of movement. Waiting patiently to see what their next move was. I closed my eyes and exhaled. I sensed an attack to my right, then immediately opened my eyes and blocked its attack. I held my sword with both hands as I sliced through it and the creature disappeared into thin air. I sensed another attack and turned left and just as its claw was about to touch me, I quickly sliced him and he also disappeared. I waited for a few minutes to see if there were anymore, but they seem to have left. For now. They will soon be back and so it is not safe here so I continued on my journey further into the forest. I walked for hours until my feet started to feel wet with, I'm pretty sure was, blood so I sat down and rested for awhile. My eyes soon started to close as sleep took over me.

(time-skip to the next morning)

I woke up and saw the sun peaking over the treetops. It was a drastic change compared to what it was like last night. Before my journey started, I faced my backpack towards me and unzipped the biggest pocket. I took out a first aid kit, then my shoes off. Yup, I was right. I watched as the maroon colored liquid flowed out of my dry, cracked foot. I quickly cleaned it up and put gauze pads on it, then wrapped it up with some weird sleeve that was inside my book bag. I did the other foot which was just as bad, then put my shoes back on and carefully stood up and put my backpack on. I walked in the same direction in hopes of finding something. I just continued to walk until I heard something. I turned around quickly and grabbed my sword. Once I was turned around I saw something I never expected.

Hey guys, ninja_of_steel here and guess what. I'm not dead!! Which is a good thing. Anyways I hope you like this short story and I'm only writing this until I start the sequel to Love From A Different Dimension. So hopefully it will be finished by then. I will upload one or more chapters every Saturday. That's all I have to tell you. Well I'm gonna go..... Wait!! I have one more thing to tell you. I was thinking that as the years pass (in LFADD) that since Jay has Nya (just go with it) and sometime in the sequel Cole will have Kaela, but what about the others? I was wondering if three people who actually read my stories would like to be in the sequel cause that will really help with writing it. If you want to be in the story just tell me on my profile and then I'll ask you a few questions. Ok well since that's settled I'm gonna leave now so I'll see all of you beautiful ninja in the next chapter.
