Bucky's grumbling angrily to himself as he climbs out of the car, Happy handing him his bags with a smile. "Have a safe flight, sir."

Bucky nods, waves absently as he trudges to the jet.

Zoolander apparently set up some sort of buddying system, paring up the Stark Angels with the opposite gender in some sort of last minuet get-to-know-each-other thing.

And guess who Bucky got? Priss. Of all the girls he had to get paired up with, it just had to be her. The snarky blond who only goes by Jeanette. Not Jen, not Jean, just Jeanette.

"Just be nice," Natasha says, matching his pace as she drags her luggage. "I know you got paired up with that pasty blond, but try to refrain from making a bad impression, okay?"

Bucky grumbles back on okay, drops off his luggage next to the other suitcases, climbs up the steps and enters the jet. A few of the others are already there, including Teeth and Blue Eyes, who waves at him happily.

"I don't know what his problem is," Bucky says quietly. "He's too nice."

"Bucky," Blue Eyes stands, claps him on the shoulder and turns to Natasha. "It's nice to see you again, m'am."

"Likewise," Natasha shakes his hand firmly. "Tell anyone what I said yesterday, and I'll cut your tongue out."

"Natasha!" Bucky hisses, staring in disbelief as she shrugs. She had just told him less than a minute ago to not make a bad impression and what does she do? Threaten the only guy who seems to want to be Bucky's friend.

And then Blue Eyes is laughing, smiling wider as he leads Bucky away. "Man, she is funny."

"But she just.. never mind," Bucky plops down on the seat on the isle over from Blue Eyes, stares at the seat in front of him and sighs. "Who'd you get? For the buddy system?"

"Grayson, I think. You?"

Bucky makes a face. "Jeanette."

Blue Eyes nods. "She's a little snobby, but I've known her since day one and I'm still alive."

"Then would you mind switching with me?" Bucky forces a small smile. "Please?"

"I don't know.. Tony might not like that."

"C'mon, I'm sure Zoolander wouldn't mind. Just this once?"

It takes a few seconds for Blue Eyes to say yes. So when the rest of the Stark Angels board, Blue Eyes calmly tells Priss that she'll be sitting with him and Grayson with Bucky.

She threw a small tantrum, shouting that that was against the rules, but calmed down when Eva patted her shoulder and shook her head.

Grayson is probably the quietest person Bucky's ever met. She has her earphones on and head buried in a book, not sparing him a glance.

He tries to catch her attentions few times when Blue Eyes gives him the look saying talk to her, but he gives up on being subtle and plucks the book from her hands.

Grayson's eyes widen and she takes out her earphones. "What are you doing?"

Bucky places the book on his lap. "Trying to get your attention. Is this not a friendship building flight?"

"I didn't think you'd want to talk? You always look like you want to kill everyone so I-" She clamps her mouth shut, her cheeks quickly burning red. "Sorry, I didn't mean to.."

Bucky laughs maybe louder than he should have, because everyone's conversations cease and they turn towards them.

Grayson presses herself further into her seat and Bucky shrugs. They eventually go back to talking and Grayson sighs.

"I didn't expect that," Bucky muses. "You really surprised me there, Grayson."

She stays quiet for the rest of the flight until they land, politely asking for her book back and hurries to the redheads side.

An hour later, they're driven to the shoot for a quick brief before they're free to go until the next day.

A sharp looking woman, Nikita, Bucky thinks, tells them what they're going to be doing tomorrow and how it should be done. She had explained in detail that if she doesn't like what they're doing, she'd personally rip up their contracts and make them scrub the floors for the rest of their lives.

Bucky snorts when she sashays away. "She's cool," he tells Blue Eyes. "I like her."
