Kara Kent screamed again as she was kicked in the stomach by the Ultra-Humanite. She had never felt pain like this before, even back when she could feel pain. The kick sent her back flying into the wall behind her. Ultra came running at her but she managed to get out of the way just in time, although she tripped and fell to the ground.

The Humanite laughed at her misfortune before using her super speed to run into Kara and slam her against the wall, pinning her there. "Is this the best you've got?" She asked before quickly punching the girl in the stomach, causing her to scream again. "You're pathetic"

Kara's eyes glowed red and she quickly aimed them at the Humanite's eye. "Ah!" She screamed as she fell back and rubbed her now blood red eye. She quickly took a deep breath before blowing out at Kara with her freeze breath.

Kara flew at the Humanite, silently thanking herself for no longer wearing the old skimpy costume, as this new one protected her more from the cold. She punched the Humanite in the nose, breaking it and sending her flying back into the wall behind her.

Kara watched as the Humanite didn't get up. She huffed loudly as she tried to catch her breath but failed. The adrenaline was finally starting to wear off and Kara gasped as she felt a pain she hadn't felt before. She collapsed to the ground and held her stomach as she X-Rayed herself. Two broken ribs.

Kara cried in pain as she slowly started to stand up only to be quickly kicked in the stomach again by the Humanite. He must have been playing dead, Kara realized as she yelled in even more pain as she felt what she was certain was a third rib breaking.

Kara coughed loudly before the Humanite kicked her again, knocking her backwards onto the ground while knocking the little lead box Cass had given her from her pocket.

"Oh? What's this?" The Ultra-Humanite asked as she watched Kara quickly snatch up the box before opening it. They both gasped and Ultra fell to her knees while Kara just fell backwards, unable to get up.

"Kryptonite" The Humanite growled as she tried to stand up but failed. Instead she began to crawl towards Kara, who's injuries were catching up with her, she would have definitely have gone into shock if not for all the adrenaline which was once again running through her body.

The Humanite weakly grabbed the lead box from Kara's hands as she was to weak to stop her. She quickly closed it and gasped as she stopped feeling so like she was being drained. She was still weak however.

She glanced at Kara who was all but unconscious before pulling a device from her pocket. This would get her back into fighting shape and if it helped Kara enough too she'd just kick her ass again. "Turn on solar lamps" she spoke into the device and a moment later the arena was lit up as she started feeling her powers return to her.

Kara's eyes widened as she felt her energy returning to her. She watched as the Humanite seemed to get back to full strength other than her stool red eye, Kara was screwed and she knew it.

Kara managed to get back up to her knees before Ultra realized. "Ah you poor pathetic girl" Ultra spoke as he grabbed her by the hair and lifted her up so she was no longer touching the ground. "Even with my solar lamps on you're still not strong enough"

She quickly threw another punch at Kara but the girl caught it, although she screamed as she was sure her hand was broken by the impact.

"Give up Supergirl and perhaps I shall make your death a swift one" Ultra spoke as she pulled her hand away.

Kara shook her head slowly only to be met with another punch which caused her to close her eyes as she tried not to focus on the pain.

Kara opened her eyes a moment later and quicker than she ever had moved before punched Ultra with her non broken hand, electricity causing the woman to let go of Kara and then spasm as she went flying back into the wall of the arena again.

Without even waiting a millisecond Kara, now surging with electricity went flying fist first into Ultra again, powered by only adrenaline and her newfound power. She punched again and again with her non broken fist, faster than the Humanite could even process.

So much electricity was running through Kara's body at this point that her skin was glowing a beautiful shade of blue. She continued to punch again and again as Ultra's body continued to spasm because of the electricity of each hit.

After another many hits Kara slowly backed away from Ultra, certain that she was now unconscious even though she continued to spasm uncontrollably.

Kara heard a gasp and she quickly turned to see (y/n) had woken up. Whatever magic the Humanite had used to put him to sleep must have worn off when she had been knocked out.

Kara quickly sped over to her boyfriend and looked him over. "Woah" he spoke as he looked at Kara, wide eyed. "You both look amazing and terrible" he said as he observed the numerous holes in her suit, her badly bruised face and stomach, and her obviously broken hand. "Blue is definitely your color" he spoke as Kara realized she was still glowing blue.

Kara offered the boy a small smile as once again the adrenaline began to wear off. "Thanks" she whispered as she heard the sound she had been dreading. She quickly pushed (y/n) off the observation table just in time for him to dodge the Ultra-Humanite who instead went flying into Kara.

"My fucking ribs" Kara groaned as she was slammed into the wall. At this point she had no clue how many were broken. Her blue glow intensified as she felt herself beginning to go into shock. If she was going down she was taking this witch with her.

Kara quickly grabbed the lead box back from the Humanite's pocket and opened it. Her blue glow began to dim and she looked at (y/n) who quickly nodded as the Humanite fell over. She dropped the kryptonite onto the witch.

The last thing Kara saw as she fell over and went into shock was Killer Frost freezing the Ultra Humanite with the kryptonite.
