"I'm hungry!" (Y/n) groaned as he laid his head on his desk. The day had finally come... the first day of school.

"Class is about to start" Betty said as she looked at the boy sitting next to her. "You could have had something to eat while Ronnie was driving us" she reminded the boy.

"Betty, kindly shut your mouth" (y/n) said as he glared at the girl. She huffed before turning away from him.

Sabrina smirked as she watched the two before whispering. "Magic spirits here's my chance, give me what I need to win his heart" she used her magic to make a bag of cookies appear in her bag. She pulled out the food before walking up to (y/n). "Here, don't let the teacher see you eating them" she said as she dropped the food in the boys hand.

"Sabrina I could kiss you right now" (y/n) said with a smile, this caused Sabrina to smile excitedly at the idea. (Y/n) started eating. "Mm delicious! Sabrina one, Betty zero" Betty glared at Sabrina who just replied by smirking at Betty and walking away.

Lunch time

"Ugh, even I'm not stupid enough to eat this" (y/n) said as he poked at the cafeteria food that was sitting on the table in front of him.

"Well you need to eat something. Otherwise you'll be hungry again in class" Betty said as she looked down at the cafeteria food. "This does look gross though"

Veronica then walked into the cafeteria clutching a brown paper bag in her hands before sitting down across from (y/n) and Betty. She pushed (y/n)'s plate off of the table before opening the bag and put the food inside on the table between them. "One romantic lunch for two" she said as she put a candle between them and lit it.

"Fancy" (y/n) said as he smiled and looked down at the food.

"What about me?" Betty asked as she glared at Veronica.

"I'm sure Archie would love to eat with you" Veronica replied with a smirk as (y/n) began to eat.

After school

"I'm telling you Jughead, it's like all the girl are just trying to drown me in food!" (Y/n) said excitedly as he ate another cookie which Sabrina had given him.

"You're living the dream man" Jughead sighed as he thought about pizza. The warm cheese, the crunch of the crust, it was enough to make a grown man cry.

"Uh-yeah you definitely are" Moose agreed as he walked along with (y/n) and Jughead. Their last class had just ended so the three were currently leaving school.

"Duh-I gotta go, I promised Midge I'd help pick out a gift for someone" Moose said as he started walking away.

"Bye Moose!" (Y/n) waved at the boy before he and Jughead walked off.

"How did we ever end up hanging out with that oaf?" Jughead asked.

"I enjoy his company" (y/n) replied with a shrug. "He may be dumb but he's a nice guy"

The two kept walking for a while before Archies car pulled up next to them. "You two need a ride?" He asked.

"Yeah. Thanks" (y/n) replied. Jughead got in the front with Archie and (y/n) got in the back next to Betty.

Betty smiled at (y/n) as she ate something. "Strawberry?" She offered as she held out a bag of strawberries to him.

"Yes! Strawberries are my favorite food" (y/n) replied happily as he took a couple of strawberries. "Thanks Betty" the boy said before eating one of the strawberries. He then hugged the girl.

"Can I have a strawberry?" Jughead asked as he looked back at the two.

"Sorry Jug. Those were the last ones" Betty said with a shrug before leaning into (y/n). He kept one arm around Betty as he ate the other strawberry.

"So why aren't you two taking your car (y/n)?" Archie asked as he kept his eyes on the road.

"I'm having a backup camera installed" (y/n) replied. "Should be done by tomorrow"

"Think you could drive me from now on?" Betty asked as she looked up at him.

"You bring me more food and you can have anything you'd like" (y/n) replied with a nod.

"How about we go out for dinner tonight?" Betty offered. "I'll pay"

"Deal" (y/n) replied as he smiled.

"Maybe I should get a girlfriend" Jughead said as he turned to the road. "I want free meals"

"Usually the guy has to pay" Archie told him as they pulled up in front of (y/n)'s place.

"Never mind then" Jughead replied.

"Alright, I'll pick you up in a couple of hours" (y/n) said to Betty before getting out of the car.

That night

(Y/n) knocked on Bettys door. It opened a moment later end out came Betty. "Ready to go?"she asked with a smile before closing the door behind her.

"Of course" (y/n) replied with a smile of his own as the two began walking towards Pop's.

"So how come you finally decided to ask me out?" (Y/n) replied as he turned to Betty.

"I got tired of watching the other girls flirt with you" Betty replied as she sighed. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure" (y/n) replied as he nodded.

"You know how we've all felt about you, It's obvious. So how come you never asked any of us out?" Betty asked as she looked up at the boy.

"Dating is expensive. I'm already pretty much broke, so how could I afford that? I mean the only reason I agreed to this because you're paying. That's one of the reasons why I'm into Veronica, she's loaded, nice, a bit of an exhibitionist (I read a comic where Betty calls Veronica an exhibitionist and for some reason that came to mind), and she's good looking. She could pay for every date if she was really interested in going out with me"

"Well that was... honest" Betty replied as she looked at the boy oddly.

"You asked, I answered" (y/n) replied with a shrug. "I don't see the point in lying. If you like me I want it to be for who I am"

Betty nodded. "Well this will be an interesting date" she said with a smile.
