Meet The Crew
(So there's a Sabrina the teenage witch male reader story over on Morning_Blankets . That story reignited my love for Archie comics and inspired this story. Please go check it out if you haven't already, I absolutely love it and if you clicked on this story then so will you)
"Out of the way!" (Y/n) yelled as he ran. "Move it people move it!" He kept running. He looked behind and noticed jughead was catching up.
"Everyone move!" He yelled again before pushing Archie out of his way and into Betty.
"What's his rush?" Archie asked as he stopped him and Betty from falling over. He had been walking with Betty and talking about the upcoming school year.
"You know him" Betty replied with a sigh as she watched jughead run past her. "They're racing to pop's again. The last one there has to pay"
(Y/n) quickly reached pop's diner and ran inside. "Morning Pop" he said happily as jughead ran into the diner. "You lose Jug" (y/n) said smugly as he turned to the boy.
"Yeah yeah I'll pay" Jughead replied with a sigh.
"The usual I assume?" Pop asked as he started up the stove.
"Yessiree" (y/n) replied with a smile before he and Jughead sat down at their groups usual booth.
"I don't even know why you agree to this race anymore Jughead. I always beat you" (y/n) said as he leaned back in the seat.
"One day I'll become much faster from all this running and I'll start beating you... or maybe you'll break a leg and then I'll win that way... either way free food" Jughead replied with a shrug as he shrugged and looked out the window.
"You ever wonder why this town is called Riverdale?" (Y/n) asked as he looked at his friend.
"They needed a generic town name that could be anywhere in the country?" Jughead asked with another shrug.
"Who's they?" (Y/n) asked curiously.
"The people controlling everything" Jughead replied cryptically.
"There's nobody controlling everything from behind the scenes Jughead" a female voice came from next to them. The two turned only to see Sabrina Spellman, she was one of their classmates. (y/n) also had a bit of a crush on her. (Y/n) quickly scooted over in his seat so that Sabrina could sit next to him.
"Thanks (y/n)" Sabrina smiled at the boy before sitting beside him.
"No problem Sabrina" (y/n) replied with a smile before turning back to Jughead. He didn't want Sabrina to think he was staring at her.
"You two ready for school to start up again?" Sabrina asked as looked between the two boys.
(Y/n) groaned before leaning his head on the table. "I'm never ready for school. At my old school the teachers didn't care if we ate in the middle of the class. I don't see why the teachers here are so mean" Sabrina patted the boys back. (Y/n) had transferred to Riverdale High in the middle of the last school year, before that he had gone to a private school a couple of towns over.
"Yeah I'm with (y/n) on this one" Jughead replied as Pop brought over their food.
"Here you go boys" pop said as he placed two trays. On Jugheads was a burger and a milkshake. (Y/n)'s had a burger and fries.
"Thanks Pop" they both said at once before the man walked back to the oven to take out some other food he was cooking.
"Look on the bright side" Sabrina said with a smile as (y/n) and Jughead started eating.
"What's that?" (Y/n) asked as he looked at the girl skeptically.
"You get to stare at pretty girl all day, you can just use the excuse that you're spacing out because of how boring class is" Reggie said as he walked over to the group.
"That is horrible advice! Don't listen to Reggie" Sabrina glared at the boy.
"Besides, I'd much rather just stare at a good burger all day" Jughead said with a sigh as he looked lovingly at the half eaten burger in his hands. He then took a bite of it as Reggie sat down next to him.
"If it's such horrible advice then how come it works?" Reggie asked as he looked across at Sabrina.
"It doesn't work, every girl in the school knows you're a creep Reggie" Sabrina replied with a smug look.
"Wait what?" Reggie asked before (y/n) started laughing. "Cut it out (l/n)!" Reggie glared at the boy.
"Oh get lost Reggie. No need to yell at the boys who are better looking than you" Veronica said as she walked over to the table.
"Wow, I guess everyone's here today" (y/n) said as he watched Reggie storm off and Veronica take his place next to Jughead. She winked at (y/n) causing him to blush a bit and ignored as Sabrina glared at her.
(Y/n) had a bit of a crush on Veronica as well, although his crush on Sabrina was much more prevalent in his life. On the one hand sabrina was fantastic in every way, on the other hand you could marry more in a minute than you could make in a lifetime, and Veronica Lodge definitely had more money than (y/n) could make in a lifetime. That's why she was always invited to (y/n)'s birthday parties... last year she bought him a car. (Y/n) finished his food.
"Sorry to disappoint ladies but I've got to go" (y/n) said as he stood up.
"Where are you going?" Sabrina asked as she moved so that (y/n) could get past her.
"Promised I'd help Betty with the summer homework tonight" (y/n) replied with a shrug. Yeah, he also had a crush on Betty... he has a lot of crushes Huh. "See you" (y/n) said before walking out of the diner.
"Betty doesn't need his help! She's the smart one in our group" Veronica said angrily as Sabrina nodded. "Wait (y/n)!" She called before heading out after him. "I'll give you a ride!"
"Ugh" Sabrina groaned before leaning her head on the table. "There are to many girls in this town" Sabrina sighed before looking at Jughead who was getting out his wallet so he could pay. "Any advice for a girl down on her luck?"
"The great thing about (y/n) is that he's basically a non-asexual version of me" Jughead replied with a shrug. "Just buy him a burger or two and bring it over to him"
Sabrina smiled happily. "Thanks Jughead!" She said excitedly before standing up and walking away.
"Paying for our meals would have been a good way to thank me" Jughead sighed before opening his wallet. "Because I sure as hell can't afford this anymore"
A few hours later
"And that's how the rebellion won the civil war" (y/n) finished as Betty just stared at him. They were currently sitting in Betty's living room.
"You realize I asked about our history work right?" Betty asked.
"Oh... I was thinking about the galactic civil war... my bad" (y/n) replied with a shrug.
Someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it" (y/n) said as he stood up. He walked over to the door and opened it.
"Burgers?" Sabrina asked as she held up a bag infront of her.
"Yes!" (Y/n) replied happily. "See you Betty!" He said before walking out and closing the door behind him.
"Wait what?" Bettys voice could be heard from the other side of the door. The two ignored her confusion as they walked away.
Sabrina grabbed the boys hand and with her own and used her free hand to hand the boy a burger which he happily accepted and started to eat. The two walked hand in hand happily in silence as they ate.
