I heard someone call my name from the other side of my door.

"RUBY!!" I heard Emerald's voice.

"What?" I said through tears.

"Are you ok????" he asked.

"Yea I'm fine..." I lied to him.

"Ok.." he said.

I heard his footsteps as he shuffled away from my door. I glanced back down at my drawing then got up and left the drawing on my desk then went downstairs because mom called me down for dinner was done. I grabbed food that I would eat and then started eating it, I pulled out my phone to text Misaki then mom yelled at me for having my phone out at the dinner table so I put it away and finished eating. Once I was done I got up and went back to my room at continued to draw. When I got bored of drawing I stood up, pushed my chair in, grabbed my jacket, climbed out of my window,  jumped down, then called to Dj and he jumped out the window and I caught him then set him down on the ground then he turned into his human form and stood up and we started walking. We walked to the woods and that's where it was at hiding.

"I want to see what this place is that you guys came from." I said to Dj.

"Ok." he said.

I started to pull aside the bushes and vines that were hiding this thing that lead to another dimension or realm thingy. Dj helped me pull the plants aside and then it was uncovered, I looked at it and the thing was huge, I was surprised by the size of it. Then I felt Dj grab my left hand I was freaking out on the inside because I didn't know what he was doing, then he put my hand up to the frame of the structure and it started to glow which freaked me out even more. A dark red glow started to form inside the frame I thought it was cool.

"Ok Ruby are you ready?" Dj asked me.

"Yea I am." I nodded.

Dj took my hand and we both stepped into the glowing red spirals. Once we got to the other side I then started to feel dizzy and started to sway back n' forth but Dj must've noticed because I felt him catch me before I fell to the ground but I still passed out. I soon woke up and tried to adjust my vision to the darker tone because I wasn't used to it the lighting was way different here than in the other world, then I looked around the area to see what everything was.

"Dj what is this place?" I asked.

"This is the Demon Realm." Dj said.

"Wow it's so dark.." I said in aw.

"Yea it can be." he said to me.

"Well you gonna show me around?" I asked.

"Yes, but we can't be here for too long.." he said nervously.

"Ok." I said to him.

We walked around the strange world that my friends called home. Dj showed me a lot of things that were in this world and they seemed to be very interesting. Then we had to leave, so we walked back to the portal to go home to the human realm.

We got back to the house I climbed up the vines that had grew along the side of the house then through my window Dj followed me up the vines. I then changed into my pj's and climbed up into my bed, Dj turned into his wolf form and climbed into his bed that I had gotten for him so that he didn't have to sleep on my hard wood floor I soon fell asleep. It turned morning so I woke and climbed down the ladder of my bed to get ready for school. Once I got done gettin' ready I walked downstairs with my bag on my shoulder to leave the house.

"Bye mom!!" I yelled as I walked out the door.

"Bye Ruby!" I heard her yell to me before I closed the front door.

I had my hood on over my head to hide my ears and had my tail tucked up into my sweatshirt but good thing this was gonna be the last time that I had to do this because tonight when I get home from school Dj is gonna teach me how to hide my ears and tail without having to wear my sweatshirt the way I did. Once I got to school I searched for Skye but I didn't see her so I walked inside to look for her then all of a sudden something startled me and I looked to see that some guy with orange-red hair had pinned me against a locker I was shaking in fear my eyes were wide, my heart beat fastened, and my breath became heavy.

"Hello, there." the persons voice was husky and deep.

"H-Hi..." I replied timidly.

"Your hair looks very lovely." the person said and grabbed a small chunk of my hair and played with it a little.

I looked at this person with an anxious expression on my face as they touched my hair I was startin' to get freaked out by the way they were touching my hair and looking at me, I looked at the ground to avoid their gaze.

"Nothing to say out of that beautiful mouth?" they asked.

"How about you fuck off!!" said a voice come from behind the person who had me pinned against the lockers.

I looked around the person who had me pinned against the lockers and seen Skye I was happy to see her because I was scared and didn't know what to do.

"I said how about you fuck off and leave my friend alone!!" she said.

"What are gonna do if I don't?" this person said in their deep husky voice.

"Do you really want to find out, Jaxson?" Skye looked at the person who had me clasped against the lockers for the past two minuets holding up her hand which had a purple fireball in it.

The person turned around to face Skye then his face went pale.

"So Jaxon, do you wanna find out what will happen if you don't leave my friend alone?" she inquired sharply.

"N-N-No Skye...." he said and ran off.

I still was by the lockers shaking I stared down at my hands and they were shaking Skye walked over to me and hugged me.

"Are you ok Ruby?" she asked.

"Y-Yea I'm f-fine... Just a little shaken up by that event." I told her.

"Ok, and also just to let you know Jaxon is a huge flirt." she told me.

"I can tell..." I said to her as I looked in the direction he ran.

I ran to my class and I had barely made it before the bell rang for school/class to start. After third hour I walked briskly to the foyer where I sat by myself at least I thought there was nobody else but then I heard footsteps come from behind me.

"You stupid bitch!!" said a random female voice that sounded familiar.

Then the person kicked me in the back and grabbed my hood, pulled it down my ears popped out, then she pulled my sweatshirt up and my tail popped out.

"Why are you trying to hide this huh?" she asked.

"I wasn't hidin' it I just felt like havin' my hood on" I said.

"Yeah, ok I don't believe that" she scoffed at me.

I got up and looked at her straight in her pale blue almost colorless eyes and said...

"Listen here I'm tired of your shit that's goin' on so you can stop antagonizing me!! I don't want to fight anymore, you can have your boyfriend Miara I just wanna be friends with him that's it and if you don't stop I will tell him what you've been doin' to me and see how he treats you then!"

I turned around a walked away from her with my ears and tail still out but I didn't care I had finally stood up to her and basically told her off. Miara didn't scare me anymore "I'm proud of myself" I thought to myself, but honestly I wanted to more than just friends with Misaki...
