I blushed madly as we pulled away from the kiss.

"I-I'm sorry Misaki." I said.

I slowly started to back away from him as tears swelled up in my eyes, then my foot nearly slipped on the edge of the stairs. Misaki grabbed me before I could fall.

"Ruby it's ok you don't need to cry." Misaki told me then pulled me into a hug.

The door swung open and the person who was in the doorway was my father. I looked over in shock "shit..." I thought to myself.

"RUBY ROSE FIRESTAR WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING WITH HIM!!!" my father yelled angered.

"...." I looked at him.

"Well are you gonna answer me!!" his voice got a little louder.

"He's a fr-"

"I'm Misaki, a friend of Ruby's we were hanging out today and I brought her home she almost slipped off the stairs so I caught her." Misaki said cutting me off from my sentence.

My father glared at him.

"Ok." my father said still having a glare towards him.

My dad still gave Misaki a little glare I let go of him and backed away a little.

"Well I'm gonna go." Misaki said.

"Ok bye Misaki." I said to him.

"Bye Ruby." he said back.

"Text me later." he whispered to me as he walked past.

I smiled as he left. Then I turned back around and my father looked at me with a mad face I gulped my ears and tail drooped and I walked inside up into my room. I climbed up onto my bed and laid there I pulled out my phone.

I put my phone on the charger, put Pandora on and then I fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night for some reason I looked around my room because I thought I heard a noise I looked down at where Dj's bed was at and he wasn't there, I panicked a little then I looked to the right to see that Dj was pawing at the ladder to my bed, I smiled and levitated him up so that he laid next to me then we fell asleep together. I woke up in the morning and Dj was still next to me sleeping, I got up and climbed down off my bed.

Once I got down off my bed I swung around the frame pole and into my desk chair that was under my loft bed and then I spun over to my desk to work on some drawings. I went into my iTunes app and looked at the songs I had and then I just played a playlist that I had in the app then started drawing. I smiled and giggled softly under my breath then I heard a knock on my bedroom door, so I got up to go open it there stood Emerald.

"Hey little sis!"

"What do you want?" I asked annoyed.

"I heard what happened last night." he said.

"What dad yellin' at me?"

"Yea."

"Was he that loud?" I asked.

"Yes, so why did he yell at ya?" Emerald asked.

"He caught me with Misaki..." I looked at the floor.

"What happened??" Emerald asked with a sly grin on his face.

"We just went and hung out, but dad caught us in a hug when Misaki brought me home..." I said.

"Oooo!!" he chuckled.

"Grrr!!!!" I snarled at him.

"Awww is little Ruby mad?!" Emerald baby talked to me.

"JUST GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY FACE OR I WON'T HESITATE TO CUT YOU UP!!!!" I yelled at him.

I shoved him outta my room and shut the door then locked it. I went and sat back down in my chair and continued to draw what I was drawing. I honestly couldn't get the thought out of my about last night the kiss between me and Misaki even though it was only six seconds it still felt magical.

I ended up staying in my room all day except to come out for lunch and dinner and maybe a snack or two but other than that I stayed up in my room drawing. It was almost 8:00 and I wanted to get up early so I could take a shower before school so I went to bed.

I woke early the next morning around 5:00 to take a shower, after that I went to get ready for school. While I was getting ready I got a text so I looked at it and it was from Skye my bestie, I screeched and picked up my phone to texted her back.

I put my phone down and finished getting ready for school. After I was done getting ready I picked Dj up off my bed and laid him back on his bed on the floor.

"You know later today after I get outta school I'm gonna go buy you an actual bed!!" I said to Dj.

He just borked in response I giggled and left my room with my backpack on my shoulder and went downstairs to eat some breakfast before I left. As I walked out the door I grabbed my hoodie and put it on with my ears and tail hidden. I started walking not waiting for Emerald to catch up because to be honest I don't want to talk to him after what he said yesterday he just knows how to piss me the fuck off.

Once I got to the school I walked in and there standing was Miara and her little possy of four other bitches, I snarled under my breath.

"Oh look at what we have here the little mut." she giggled.

"Grrrr...." I growled.

"Oh wait where are those nasty mangled ears and tail huh little mut?" she asked.

She walked around me like I was some piece of art work. I was hesitant to turn around and sucker punch her right up into her jaw but I didn't because I'm pretty sure if I did that would break her jaw and then I would get expelled so I wouldn't be able to see Skye anymore or Misaki getting pissed at me for breaking his girlfriends jaw he would never talk to me again.

"Answer my damn question you little piece of shitty ass TRAMP!!!" she screamed.

Everyone gasped at the fact that Miara called me a tramp. I turned around to face her then I grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and pulled her close to my face.
