"I think it'd be better if you felt comfortable with it, rather than doing it when you're not ready." Natsu mumbled.
This, I've never met someone quite like him.
"Thank you Natsu." I smiled, embracing him in a warm hug.
"I'm ready when you are~" He teased, making us both laugh.
Oh Natsu, I love you.

(Lucy's POV)
"Rise and shine lovebirds!" I rubbed my eye sleepily to see a familiar looking woman opening the curtains in our hut. Yes, okay, I made curtains. I got bored.
"M-mum?" I asked with my sleepy voice.
"Hi sweety, how ya doing?" She replied, a broad smile stuck to her face like glue.
"Morning Mrs. Hear-" Natsu was interrupted.
"Oh please, you can just call me mum if you want to." Mum replied.
Me and Natsu swiftly got out of bed and welcomed my mother in properly, even though we hadn't had a chance to get changed.
"Natsu," my mother began. "Why don't you go spend a day with Igneel so I can talk to Lucy here?"
"O-okay Mrs- I mean.. Mu- no...." Natsu seemed to be struggling with his words, until he blurted out a "Okay, see you later."
And he walked out. In his pyjamas. How stupid. Baka.
"So Lucy," my mother turned to face me. "Have you given Natsu a baby yet?"
"W-what!?" I yelled, becoming red in the face. "No."
"What do you mean no!?" My mother asked. "That's what you're supposed to do!"
"What?" I asked her.
"Your sole purpose of being here is to provide the Dragneel hunters with babies to keep the population going." My mother explained. "You can't fail to do this one task."
"We decided not to do it yet sinc-" I was interrupted.
"Are you going to tell me it was because you weren't ready? Because of feelings!? You can't do that Lucy." My mother yelled.
"So, you're telling me to cast all these feelings aside and just have sex with someone that I shouldn't love!?" I retorted, becoming very angry.
"Don't speak to me with that tone, Lucy. You need to realise how stupid you're being."
"No mother." I spat. "You're the one that needs to realise how stupid they're being."
"How dare you insult me like that!" Layla yelled at me.
"How dare you tell me not to fall in love with someone!" I retorted, walking out the door.
"Lucy! Don't you dare walk away!"
"What you gonna do!? Kick me out!?" I mocked, continuing to stomp away.
"I will never call you my daughter ever again, you disgrace!" She yelled.
I paused. My own mother just called me a disgrace. How thoughtful of her.
"That's fine by me, because I don't even want to consider you as my mother after what you just said!" And with that, I walked off, leaving my mother in my house.
Natsu, where are you? I need you.

(Natsu's POV)
While Luce was having bonding time with her mother, I was out hunting with my father; just like old times.
"So son," Dad began, "How did last night go?"
"What?" I asked, as we walked along the forest floor outside our territory.
"You know... With Lucy." He mumbled.
"We ate fish." I replied bluntly.
"NO! I mean, later on.."
"I don't get you..." I mumbled.
"Did you... Do the deed?" Igneel asked me.
"The deed? Are you eating properly? What's the deed?" I asked. I swear, this guy gets weirder by the day.
He sighed, but then looked at me.
"Remember the conversation we had yesterday?" He asked, and I nodded. "Did you do that with Lucy?"
I began to blush a beetroot red.
"N-n-no." I stuttered. "W-why do you ask?"
"YOU DIDN'T!?" Igneel yelled. "Why not!?"
"Because I didn't want Luce to feel uncomfortable." I mumbled.
"Is that it?" He grunted. I looked up at him with confusion written across my face. What's he on about now!?
"What do you mean 'Is that it'." I asked. "What was I supposed to do?"
"Catch up." He replied bluntly. "This tribe needs the hunters to keep the population going. This tribe also needs people like you to come to your senses and stop caring about 'feelings' so much."
"So, you're telling me that I should cast my feelings for Luce aside and just use her for babies!?" I mocked. "What kind of person is that!?"
"That is every logical person in this tribe, son." My dad replied.
"Well that's a load of bullshit!" I yelled, walking off in the opposite direction.
"Natsu! Get back here!" Igneel growled.
"Why should I?" I retorted, my blood boiling.
"If you disrespect me like this, I won't ever want you as a son!"
I paused. He means that!? I felt my fists clench up in anger, and I turned to face him.
"That's fine by me. After what you just told me to do, I don't want to consider you as my father anyway!" I yelled, storming off.
"You better wish your sorry ass doesn't get kicked out this tribe you ungrateful brat!" Igneel yelled.
"Go to hell old man!" I said angrily, running back into our territory.
Luce. Where are you? I need you.
