Well, you basically camp outside for a night and walk around for two days.

Sleeping next to Natsu is nice. It's like relaxing in front of a fire; warm.

But that wasn't all. Before I went to sleep, I felt butterflies in my stomach.

(Lucy's POV)

I awoke the next morning to a cold, empty space where it should've been warm. I groaned sleepily, then I heard someone stifle a laugh.

I groggily sat up and opened my eyes to see Natsu stood eyeing me up and down. In his hands was a bowl of fruit, and on his face was a big smirk.

"What are you looking at?" I asked. He laughed at me, then walked over.
"You." He smiled, sitting down next to me on the bed. "Your hair makes you look like a wild animal."
"You're one to talk!" I scoffed. "You always look like an animal."

"You make me act like one too~" He whispered.
"W-what!?" I blushed, covering my cheeks with my hands.
"What? Did I say it wrong?" He questioned, an innocent look on his face.

I sighed, but began laughing.
"Let me guess," I smiled. "Did you get that from your dad too?" He nodded at me, obviously not realising what it meant.

"If I were you, I'd stop taking hints from him and just be yourself." I tousled his spiky, pink hair and took an apple out the bowl he was still holding.

"So," I began. "What's gonna happen today?" I asked.
"Not much." Natsu sighed. "I need to go out and train for a bit, then I need to hunt for your food."
"Really!?" I yelled. "You mean, go outside the territory!?"
"Yeah, why?" He questioned.

I've always wondered what was on the other side of the territory. I love going on adventures, but the tribe rules strictly prohibit the women going outside the territory. Well, only the hunters are allowed out, but I still think it's not fair since Erza would be the best hunter in existence. And Mira too! And...

"Lucy? Helloooooo!" Natsu was waving his hand in front of my face. Crap! I'd zoned out. Oops.
"I-oh, sorry." I smiled. "Just thinking, that's all."
"About what?" He pursued, a smirk on his face.

"Life outside the boundaries."

"What? You've never been outside the Fairy Tail territory before?" He asked. I swear, this guy's brain had been replaced with a peanut.
"No." I replied. "Remember the rule that only allows hunters out?"
"O-oh yeah...." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"It's really fun." He smiled. "Jumping through the trees, climbing rocks and-" He then gasped. "The waterfall! It's so much fun to jump into the pool at the bottom! I'll have to take you sometime." He looked in my eyes and smiled.

"W-what!?" My eyes lit up. "Would you seriously!?"
"Sure, why not?" He looked at me confused, yet again.
"I don't know, maybe because it's against the rules." I replied sarcastically, chuckling at his stupidity.

"Screw the rules."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out the room.
"Natsu!" I yelled. "Where are w-" He covered my mouth with his hands.
"Shhhh!" He whispered. "I'm taking you out, but we can't let anyone know, okay?"

I nodded, and we ran through the temple. Jeez, this place is like a maze.

We stopped at a dead end.
"What are you doing?" I whispered. "It's a dead end."
"We're going through the window silly!" He smiled and pointed to the gap in the stone wall, bamboo poles blocked the gap so people couldn't climb out.

Well, they did. Until Natsu punched it down. Like honestly, how strong is he!?

"Here, stand on my hands." He said, cupping his hands and bending down to give me a leg up. I did so, and he pushed me out the window.

"AAAHH!" I yelled. We were really high up. "What do I grab onto!?"
"Jump to the tree over there!" He pointed to a nearby tree.

Shit. That's a long way to jump. And an even longer way to fall.

"Don't think! Just jump!" He yelled. WTF IS HE INSANE!??!?
"Trust me!" He yelled. "JUMP!"

So I did.

I jumped.

Okay, I read this book and saw that the author waited until they got a certain amount of votes before they updated their next chapter.

And I thought it was a good idea.
