Chapter 5
The next morning in the Beloved household started with a loud mixture of noises, waking everyone in the house.
"What is that noise?!" Tubbo said, opening his bedroom door. Ranboo was close behind him. Tubbo rubbed his eyes, "There better be a good explanation for this." The sun was just barely peeking through the curtains.
The sound was coming from Ginnit's room. There was a sight to be found when opening the door.
Ginnit had somehow phased himself halfway through the floor length wise, so only his head, upper torso, right arm, and lower legs were visable.
"Oh dear....I don't think we can help here, can we?" Ranboo said.
Tubbo hummed. "We need to call in an expert."
"Who?" Ranboo asked. Tubbo gave him a look. "Oh, right. Ghostbur."
Tubbo messaged the shepard ghost on his communicator.

Soon, they heard a knock on the door and Tubbo walked over and opened it. There in the archway of the front door was Ghostbur with Friend tied to a post on the front porch.
"I came as fast as I could. You said you were having some trouble?" Ghostbur said as he bobbed up and down in the air, "What's the problem?"
Tubbo and Ranboo looked at each other, unsure of how to explain the situation. "I think it would be better if we showed you," Ranboo finally said.
They lead the yellow sweatered ghost to the guest bedroom, the screeching noise had subsided after the discovery. Upon seeing Ghostbur, Ginnit made more noteblock noises.
"I recognise you!"
"I recognise you too. Are you dead as well?" Ghostbur asked.
"Yeah. You can understand me?" Ginnit replied.
Ghostbur turned to Ranboo and Tubbo and asked, "When did he appear?" "Yesterday," they replied at the same time. "That explains what is going on," said Ghostbur, "He hasn't figured out how to work properly."
Ginnit, who was still stuck in the floor, said very loudly, "Are you going to get me out or what? I've been stuck in here for a while."
"Very well," said Ghostbur floating over to him.
"First, you have to focus on what part of your body you want to phase," said Ghostbur holding up his hand. Slowly but surely Ghostbur lead Ginnit through the process of getting out of the floor until he was floating in the air again.
He turned to the Beeboo duo as he was floating to the door, "Call me if anything happens." "We will," Tubbo replied. It had been a very eventful morning.

Ginnit hung out with Michael for most of the day, practicing his tangibility. In the afternoon, Ghostbur came back. This time he had his journal.
"Hello." Ghostbur said to Ginnit.
"Hi!"
"You said earlier that they couldn't understand you?" Ghostbur asked.
"Yeah. They said it sounds like noteblocks." Ginnit said, letting Michael run his hooves through his hair as he tried to focus.
"Well, I was thinking, if you practice being tangible, then you could hold a quill." Ghostbur said, showing Ginnit his journal. "I found having a hobby that you can document helps."
"What's your hobby?" Ginnit asked.
"I like to write songs and poems." Ghostbur said. "I've been told that I did it in life too. They don't like it when I sing that old song though."
"Why?" Ginnit asked, tilting his head.
"They said it reminds them of times they want to forget, that they wish were different." Ghostbur said, solemnly.
He perked up. "But, enough about me, you need a hobby to write about! Do you have any ideas?"
"I don't really know. I'll find something I like doing eventually."
"Ok, then. I have to leave. Crow father is expecting me tonight."
"Ok. Bye."
