I sat on the couch, holding Mocha like a baby in my arms as he teethes on my hand lightly, I hear a knock on the door and turn to see Josh at the door. "Were you two here all day?" i nod and he shook his head. "Well you know it's not safe to go outside for to long, right babybear?" I was talking to Josh but at the end I was talking to Mocha who didn't pay attention at all. "I guess you have a point, you just need to control you power and we'll be fine" he went to the fridge. Grabbing a tub of melted ice cream, freezing it and handing me a bowl. "Thanks" i barely whisper, the tv turns to the news and some scientist talk. "Our world will soon figure out what has caused these creatures to have their powers, our labs our growing" one said proudly. "We have caught about fifty of each magical creature, but yet to figure out their secrets, but we'll know soon" another said. The camera showed their underground lab, inside were the ones with powers, like us, inside glass cages that didn't seen affected by their powers, and the hybrids and animal ones were inside cages inside small cubby like shelves. "Now if we can turn the cameras on now, we're going to give you a special clip of how we do it" the camera showed our neighborhood. They opened the door and quickly filled in, two people with tranquilizers and four with wire ropes and three with  electrical collars, and three with syringe needle, the family came downstairs and were immediately hit with the wires, the syringe needles went into the three family members, there was two wolf hybrids, the father and daughter while the mother wasn't a hybrid. I knew, Josh knew, the scientist knew, that the syringe wouldn't do much to their power, but i did make them confused, in their state they put on the collars and the people with the tranquilizers walked behind them for support as they dragged the family into their truck to the lab. "That's horrible" i couldn't believe that happens. "I know it seems bad but we're going to help them, turn them back to normal and let them be happy. From what we learned, most Hybrids wont survive the tenth year of being a hybrid, the power usually kills them, but for the Powers, they can go crazy if they don't control their power by age fifteen. Were here to help them" a new scientist said. I rolled my eyes and grunted. "I can't believe humans believe this, a human helping out Powers and Hybrids? That's crazy!" i growl at Josh. "I know, but if were careful they won't find us" he hugged me. "Promise?". "Promise".
