Branch and Poppy walked out of the room.

''I can't believe it! Why didn't she put us together?'' Asked Branch.

''I don't know. But this doesn't change anything we are still a couple.'' She said taking his hand as they were holding their eggs.

''I know. So can I still walk you home?'' He asked.

''Of course.'' She kisses his cheek.

Creek ran up to Poppy. ''Hey Poppy, so what should we name our little one?''

She looked at him with a half-smile. ''I don't know, do you have a name Creek?'' 

''Yes! Creek Jr.?'' He asked.

''Well I want it to be a girl.'' Poppy answered.

''Alright it's a girl we can name her Swamp.'' He smiles.

Poppy was surprised and Branch rolls his eyes as he heard his name.

''Creek Jr is fine.'' Poppy answered.

''Great now let's go to Chem.'' He answered as he gently took the egg and wrapped his arm around her back as they walked, and she looked at Branch.

''See ya Branch.''

''I'll see you at lunch.'' He replied missing her as they left.

''Branch!'' He looked and saw Mia coming over.

''Hey Mia, right?'' He asked walking over to her.

''Yes, so what gender is the baby?'' She asked looking a bit shy.

''Let's go with a boy.'' He replied.

''Perfect how about Stream for the name?'' She asked.

He looked at her and nodded. ''Sure. So, what classes do you have?'' He asked.

''History and Math then lunch.'' She answered.

''I have Chem science and Math.'' Branch replied.

''Ahh well I can take Stream during classes, and we can swap after lunch?'' She asked.

''Sounds great.'' He smiled as they went their separate ways.

Branch walked in and sat next to Poppy in Chem since it was their signed seats and Creek didn't look happy.

''So, where Creek Jr?'' Asked Branch teasingly.

''With his dad. Where yours?'' She asked.

''Mia is going to hold the egg until after lunch.'' He said.

Poppy smiles as the teacher came in and looked at them and sighed.

''Alright put your eggs in your hair and let's get started.'' The Chem teacher replied.

They worked through, after that Branch and Poppy left the classroom holding hands.

''See you for lunch?'' Asked Poppy.

''Yeah see ya.'' He let go of her hand went to his next class.

Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder and saw Creek. 

''Art and music is next.'' He smiles.

She smiles as they walked together.

''Is he ok?'' She asked.

''Right here.'' Creek replied pulling it out and gave it to Poppy who smiles and places it in her hair as they walked to class.

Creek opened the door for Poppy. ''Aww thank you Creek.''

He smiles as he walked in and they continued with class.

Branch went into math and sat in the desk next to Mia who looks at him.

''Hey Branch.'' She greeted happily.

''Hey Mia, how the little Stream?'' He asked.

''Perfect hasn't made a sound.'' She took it out showing him as he smiles.

''Good, can I have a turn?'' He asked.

She giggles. ''Sure, it's yours as well.''

He placed the egg in his hair as class started. Biggie and Cooper were in the back and saw Branch and Mia talking and laughing.

''Why isn't Poppy and Branch taking care of an egg?'' Whispered Cooper.

''I don't know.'' Biggie whispers back.

Later after class Branch and Mia walked to the lunchroom and went to get their lunch.

''So, Branch who gets Stream tonight?'' She asked.

''Well, I was thinking I'll take her tonight and then tomorrow I'll have her with me during classes and then during lunch I will let you take her, and she can stay the night with you.'' He said as they got their food and went to a table and Branch pulled out a notebook.

''And when we take turns taking care of Stream, we write down what happens during that time and then compare notes.'' Branch suggested as he handed her a paper.

She looked at it and smiles. ''Woah so prepared.'' She complimented.

''Always it's my motto and if we follow this then we are sure to get an A.'' He responded.

''Sounds good Branch.'' She smiles as she gave him the egg and stood up going to the table with the girl she hangs out with.

Poppy left class with Creek next to her as they got food and once they got into the lunchroom the pink troll saw her boyfriend sitting next to Mia and they were looking at something as she giggles, and he nodded.

''I got to say, they look so cute together.'' Creek replied smiling thinking maybe this is a good thing.

Poppy felt a bit of jealousy rising up in her chest as she walked over to Branch and saw the Snack pack already sitting across from Branch.

Poppy sat next to Branch who smiles at her.

''Hey Poppy.'' He smiles.

''Branchifer.'' She giggles.

Creek sat across from them and frowned a bit but got to eating.

''So, Branch how is it working with Mia?'' Asked Creek.

''Not bad, she's pretty nice and we came to a decision I would take Stream tonight and she will take her tomorrow.'' He answered.

The others looked at Poppy who was eating not saying anything.

''Why would the teacher not put you two together? Even though she had you guys married?'' Asked Guy.

''I don't know, she wanted to see us work with others?'' Poppy tried.

Branch took her hand that was under the table and held it.

''Yeah, Creek Jr. here is the best.'' Creek smiled.

Poppy smiles and nodded. ''Yeah.''

Suki smiles. ''My baby is called Disco.'' 

''Why that?'' Asked Branch eating.

''Because it's a name for a girl or a boy.'' She smiles.

'Yep, our Disco I had thought of Tiny, but Suki here won me over.'' Guy smirks.

Later Branch and Poppy were at their lockers when Mia came over.

''I just wanted to say bye to Stream.'' She replied a bit shyly.

Branch pulled out the egg and gave it to Mia who hugged and kissed it.

''Be good for daddy ok.'' She then gave the egg to Branch and waved at him and looked at Poppy smiling.

''Have a good night, guys.'' Mia called as she left.

Poppy wanted to be upset but she liked Mia, Branch saw Poppy's face and was about to say something when Creek came over and in between them.

''Poppy darling who should keep the baby?'' He asked.

''Well, I could tonight and tomorrow you can since I have cheerleading tomorrow.'' She answered.

''Alright then, say want to come over and help take care of our baby?'' He asked.

''I would love to but I have a pile of homework to do.'' Poppy answered knowing it was true.

''Same here, come over and we can do it together.'' Creek tried.

Branch rolled his eyes leaning against his locker.

''Creek, you live 2 blocks away and besides it's a school night and dad won't let me.'' She answered.

''Tell him it's schoolwork and I'll have you back by 10.'' He answered.

''My curfew it 9.'' She answered.

''Look Creek stop pushing her like that.'' Branch answered.

''I don't remember asking you Branch besides this is a couple thing and your girl already left.'' Creek snapped.

''She is not my girl, she is my partner I'm working with, Poppy is my girl.'' Branch replied.

Poppy was holding the egg and sighed wishing they would get along.

''Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow, Poppy.'' Creek replied as he hugged her.

She awkwardly hugged back and felt him linger in the hug and pulled away as he left.

Branch and Poppy held hands as they left heading home.

''So, where should we start homework?'' Asked Branch. 

''Your place.'' She answered.

''Sounds good.'' Branch smiles as they walked home.
