It was Monday and Poppy was up and had a smile on her face as she got dressed, brushed her teeth and fixed her hair as she looks at herself in the mirror.

Today was the day her and Branch were telling their friends they were a couple. She knew most would be excited, but she had a feeling one might not be too happy, but she didn't care it was her and Branch, and they made each other happy.

She walks down the stairs to see her dad on the phone and he got off and looked at her.

''Morning Poppy.'' He greeted.

"Morning daddy.'' She kissed his cheek.

''You're happier then normal.'' He pointed out.

''Yes, well today me and Branch are going to tell our friends we are a couple!'' She squealed.

''That's wonderful baby!'' He smiles.

She then left and she was walking down the sidewalk when she saw Branch who came over.

''Hey.'' He smiles as he held her hand. 

''Branch!'' She smiles and kisses him.

He kisses back and they stare at each other.

''So, sleep well?'' He asked.

''Yes! Did you?'' She asked as they were holding hands and walking.

''Well, I wish I had you there with me, but you know.'' He shifted his backpack.

''I was tempted to sneak out last night to see you.'' She giggles and kisses his cheek.

''I wouldn't say no to that.'' He winks.

They arrived at school looking at each other as they held hands and went inside the school and to their lockers that were a couple doors away.

''Poppy!''

She looked to see the Snack Pack along with Creek coming over to her.

''Hey guys!'' She smiles turning to face them.

Branch closed his locker watching them as they came over.

''Are you ok?'' Asked Satin.

''Yeah why?'' Asked Poppy.

''We were supposed to meet at the cafe, and you didn't show up.'' Biggie answered.

''Oh, right I was busy working.'' She answered.

''Working? When did you get a job?'' Asked Suki.

Guy went over next to Branch and nudged him.

''I was helping Branch with a project.'' She answered.

Guy smirks and Branch shook his head hating how Guy was smirking.

''What project?'' Asked Creek coming over and looked at Poppy and then Branch getting a bad feeling.

''We were painting a building.'' Branch replied with a smile and took pleasure in seeing Creek look upset.

''Oh the project you do every weekend? I thought it was to get out of hanging out with me.'' Guy laughed.

Biggie and Suki were quiet.

''Yeah, I helped him.'' Poppy smiles.

''And it was because of that, you didn't come to the party, right?'' Asked Creek looking at Poppy.

''Yes, Branch didn't want to go so I stayed with me, I mean we are dating so it would be wrong to go to a party without him.'' Poppy said breaking the news.

The group was quiet, but Guy jumped up hugging both of them.

''I knew it! I KNEW YOU GUYS WERE TOGETHER!'' Guy shouted happily.

The group hugged them, Branch was a bit uncomfortable but took it as they pulled away.

''About time.'' Suki replied.

''Wait what?'' Asked Branch.

''Um no offense but it was pretty clear you two had a thing for each other. You both nailed your report.'' Satin replied.

''I would have been shocked if you weren't together after that.'' Chenille smiles at them as the twins' giggles.

Poppy looked over to see Creek had a look of disbelief and shock on his face. Branch noticed this and he couldn't help but do a small dance inside, he was with the troll Creek wanted and had teased him about constantly.

''Are you ok Creek?'' Asked Poppy looking at him as she goes over to him.

''Yeah, I'm fine.'' He replied as he turned and walked to class. He was upset that Branch and Poppy were together he had planned to ask her to ask her at the party, but she skipped it for Branch, but he had an idea. He was going to break them up somehow and he knew what to do for starters.

The others smile at the couple as they left and Poppy sighed, she knew it was going to be hard for Creek.

''Everything ok Poppy?'' Asked Branch taking her hand.

''Yeah, I had a feeling Creek would act like that.'' She replied.

''I have a feeling he's gonna try to break us up.'' He gulped.

''No that won't happen, plus we are aware it could happen.'' She smiles as she pulled him to their first class that they had with the others.

Shortly their teacher Medow Springs came in.

''Alright class I hope you all had a good weekend now we are to take a pop quiz and then I will tell you your new assignment.'' She replied handing out the papers.

They all worked on their quiz and Branch passed Poppy a love note as she looks at it and smiles at him and bit her lip as she worked on the answers.

Shortly they finished and Medow collected the tests and went to her desk.

''Alright class you will your grades tomorrow. Now for your next assignment we are going to be working on.... parenting.'' She answered.

There were groans from the students. ''Now, now this one isn't going to be hard. I got these ballon eggs and you guys will be paired up.'' She replied.

Satin raised her hand, and the teacher looked at her.

''Yes Satin?''

''Does that mean we have to live together?'' 

''No, but you will take turns watching the egg and treating it as if it's a real egg.'' She replied.

''How hard can that be?'' Asked a Biggie.

''Well, I thought of that, but these are balloons so for example.'' She dropped a balloon that popped.

''If you drop the egg or handle it too roughly it will pop and you will fail, and no you can't get a new one and these have numbers on them, and I will write which number each couple has.'' She answered.

The class looked at her. ''Now I got names of the couples that will work on this, and you all have this week to prove you can take care of an egg.

She then called out names of the students working together and she finally came to the last 4.

''Creek and Poppy, and Branch and Mia and that is it.'' The teacher replied.

The snack pack were surprised but not as much as Branch who turned white and Poppy blushes shaking her head as the bell rang.

The students all went and got their eggs Poppy and Branch got up and got the egg they were assigned to.
