"It's okay Antonio, we have his location." I said as I patted his shoulder.

''We're gonna get him a promise.'' Aj said.

"Alright everyone load up.'' Hank said as we all went to our vehicles and went to Diego's location.

*warehouse*

"Bust it down Al.'' Hank said as Al used the ram to bust down the door. Aj is with me and Callie, Al and Hank are together, Jay and Erin were together. (Callie always goes with them on cases)

"I go left and you go right.'' I said to Aj. I looked around a corner and i yelled clear. I couldn't see Aj and then i heard this loud boom. I saw Callie run.

"Shots fired! Shots fired!'' I yelled into the radio.

*Callie's pov*

I heard the shot and i saw my mom go down. I immediately ran over to her. She was shot in the stomach. She's 5 months pregnant as of yesterday.

"Mom can you hear me?" I asked her as i applied pressure to her wound. She nodded her head.

I pushed the button on moms radio. "Uncle Hank, Uncle Al, Jay, Erin! Mommy has been shot, she needs help!'' I said as tears were rolling down my face.

My mom started going in and out of consciousness. "Mom, stay with me, I'm gonna go get Aunt Katie, just stay with me.''

I ran back to where Aunt Katie was, she has shot the guy down who shot my mom. "Mommy needs help Aunt Katie, please help her.''

*Katie's pov*

I saw Callie run over to me with tears down her face. Oh my god, it's Aj.

"Callie go outside and wait for the ambulance now.'' I told her as she ran outside. I ran over to Aj and she was knocked out with her hand on her stomach.

I shook Aj's shoulder and she slowly opened her eyes. I held onto her stomach.

"Look Aj, you have to stay with me okay.'' I said as she nodded. I looked around and I see a first aid kit. I run to get that as she fades away again.

The ambulance is about 25 minutes out. Screw this. "Hank, did you guys find Diego?'' I asked.

"Yeah we did, take Aj to the hospital, we got it from here.'' He said.

*Chicago Med*

"I need doctor Rhodes now! She's been shot and she's 5 months pregnant.'' I said holding onto Aj.

They rolled a bed and i helped put her on it. "We'll take it from here.'' The nurse said.

I nodded. I went up to the front desk and told the lady to call me if anything changes or when she was out of surgery.

*21st district*

''Alright, I'm headed to the bathroom.'' I told Adam. He nodded.

*Kim's pov*

I grabbed Adam hand and led him outside. I've always had a crush on him since he came from the academy.

"What are you doing?" He asked me.

Now is the time Kim. I leaned in and kissed him and so did he.

"I'm sorry." I said as I pulled away. He pulled me back into a kiss and we made out.

*Adam pov*

I walked into the locker room and I see that Katie's phone went off.

I looked at the name and message.

Danny 🙄: are we still on for tonight?

What in the world? What does that mean? I barged into the bathroom where Katie was washing her hands.

*Katie's pov*

"When were you gonna tell me that you were seeing someone else?" Adam asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Danny asked you if you were still on for tonight." He said crossing his arms.

I started to laugh. Wow he thinks I would date him.

"Babe, me and Aj are supposed to go get drinks with him and Steve. My naval seal buddy." I said.

He just nodded and walked out as Kim came in. "Katie, I have to tell you something."

"Yeah what's up?"

"Me and Adam kiss-"

She got interrupted by my phone going off. It was Danny.

"Katie, I've been in an accident and I can't get ahold of Steve and I'm trapped in my car."

"Are you okay? Let me call him okay. Stay on the other line."

*accident scene*

"Thank you for being here for me."

"Of course. I've always got your back even though me and Aj didn't work out." Jay said hugging me.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said following the skid marks down the hill.

We spotted Danny's car, I ran and he smiled as he saw me.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi." I said smiling a bit.

"Ambulance is here and their gonna get you out." I said as they came down with the jaws of life.

*back at the district*

"Look, Kim told me what happened." I said to Adam. His face soften.

We just got done arguing and I'm crying, he's about to cry.

"I just think we need time apart. And you can go with Kim." I said as tears flowed down my face.

"Yeah I think that's best." He said as he opened his arms for me to hug him.

I went into the hug and he began to cry. I wish things didn't end like this.
