Ryuki: (Thinks to himself: Okay I'm completely lost. Some of these questions make absolutely no sense) 

Rin: (Thinks to herself: Ugh I can't believe I got to sit next to sasuke, I mean really? And these questions totally sucks) Man this really sucks.

Sasuke: Will you be quiet, I'm trying to focus.

Rin: Or what huh? 

Hidden leaf ninja: No talking or minus a point (smirks)

Rin & Sasuke: (Sighs and mumbles)

Shikamaru: (Thinks to himself: I hope everyone else is holding up.)

Naruto: (Thinks to himself: Aw man. There gonna kill me!)

Sakura: (Thinks to herself: I believe sasuke can pass and I know I can...but Naruto....Please do something right for once)

Ryuki: (Thinks to himself: There are a lot of weird people here. This is so boring why can't I just fight.) (looks at the time) I guess I'm just gonna have to guess. (starts to put random answers in his paper)

Shikamaru: (Looks at Ryuki and thinks: Jesus I hope he isn't guessing) What a drag.

Ino: (Thinks to herself: I hope we all pass. I mean we have the advantage because of the number of squad members but still....It's also a disadvantage, what if Ryuki gets kicked out......)

*As time passed along, the room was getting more and more emptier with the tenth question beginning getting ready to be asked with 20 minutes left*

Ryuki: (While cracking his knuckles he notices Naruto completely losing his mind) Geez take it easy Naruto. (looks around the classroom) Dang talk about empty, more than half were caught and some others quit.

Rin: (Looks at her test surprised she was able to answer half the questions) I did pretty good (looks as sasuke as he glances at her)

Sasuke: What are you looking at?

Rin: None of your business emo. (huffs)

Sasuke: I have no time for you or your brother. (Sighs)

Ino: Aw man the tenth question is coming up.

Ibiki: Alright, listen up here's the tenth and final question.

Ryuki: (Thinks to himself: Okay this is the big one right here Ryuki so don't mess it up)

Naruto: (Grips his pencil tighter and thinks: Okay here we go....everything's on the line here)

Rin: (Gulps and thinks: Oh boy. I haven't been this nervous before. I think I'm gonna be sick to my stomach)

Ibiki: But before I give you the tenth question there are some more rules you need to be aware of. Number one each of you are free not to be given the final question, It's your decision.

Ryuki: What? No way.

Sasuke: Huh? We're free to choose?

Rin: Whoa really?

Shikamaru: (Sighs)

Temari: Whoa so what's the catch huh?! Let's say we decide not to do it, what happens?

Ibiki: If choose not to do the tenth question regardless your answer on the other nine, you'll get a zero. (smirks) In other words you'll fail, which also means your teammates will fail too.

Rin: Well so much for stopping (pouts)

Ibiki: Not so fast, I didn't finish yet. 

Ryuki: What the hell is with all the damn rules?

Ibiki: If you do the tenth question and fail (pauses) You'll be barred from doing the chuunin exams ever again!

Kiba: HEY THAT'S BULL MAN! WHAT KIND OF BOGUS RULE IS THAT!? There are alot of people that are here that took the test before.

Ryuki: What the hell, this is intense shit.

Rin: What the hell is wrong with this guy and these dumb rules?

Ino: What? This totally changes everything.

Ibiki: (Chuckles) I guess your just unlucky. I wasn't making the rules before, but I am now. Of course if you don't wanna take it you can quit. If your not feeling confident then by all means skip it and you can come and try again next year.

Ryuki: Okay. If I quit now my teammates and I fail, but if I fail the tenth question we all fail and won't be able to take the Chunnin exams ever again. Crap, this is too much pressure.

Rin: I don't wanna disappoint my Ry-Ry, but I also don't wanna have one try only. What do I do?

Ino: If they don't quit I don't wanna quit, but I don't wanna fail this and we have no more tries and they get mad at me or ryuki might hate me. I don't want that.

Naruto: Aw man, aw man, aw man. I'm sooo dead.

Ibiki: If you don't wanna take the tenth and final question raise your hands. Your number will be recorded and you'll be free to go.

Naruto: Okay. Maybe the questions easy, maybe not. I don't wanna be genin for the rest of my life.

Ryuki: You know what forget it. I'm doing this damn question and passing it. But what if.......(Looks and sees rin looking at him with worried eyes) Rin (He nods at rin then smiles, giving her comfort the best way possible) I'm not giving up on anyone. Especially you sis. 

Rin: (Smiles back and fixes her composure and herself completely) If my brother's in, I'm in.

Ino: Ryuki and the others would be furious if I quit now. What the hell would I look like giving up. I'm Ino Yamanaka Damn it. And I won't allow no one, mainly sakura to best me.

(A kid next to Naruto raises his hand) 

Kid ninja 1: That's it, I'm out I just can't do it, I'm sorry.

Hidden leaf ninja: Number 50, fail. Number 130, Number 110 that's mean your out too. 

Kid ninja 1: I'm sorry guys.

Ryuki: Damn tough luck. (looks around and sees other ninjas also quitting) Well, shit.

Naruto: (slowly raises his hand)

Ryuki, Rin, Sasuke, and sakura: (Gasps and looks towards him)

Ryuki: No. Not Naruto. That isn't like him. He wouldn't let this kind of pressure get to him.

Rin: No. Whiskers.

Naruto: (Slams his hand on the table) Don't underestimate me! I don't quit and I don't run! You can talk tough all you want, You guys aren't gonna scare me. No way! I don't care if I get stuck Genin for the rest of my life (stands up) I'll still be hokage some day! (sits down and crosses his arms) 

Ryuki: (Chuckles) I knew he wasn't gonna give up. That's not him at all. Well I guess I have some catching up to do to compete with Naruto's will. And if naruto isn't gonna give up (Stands from his seat) Bring it on dammit! I'm ready for anything!

Rin: (smiles and chuckles) That's my Naruto and my brother for ya.

Sasuke: He's completely brainless but he's still going for it. He has guts, so I give him that.

Sakura: Way to go. You fool (Smiles)

Ino: All that heart. I don't think I'll ever reach that kind of passion.

Ibiki: This decision can change your life. If for any reason you would rather quit, now's your last chance.

Naruto: No way, I never go back on my word. That's the ninja way.

Ibiki: (thinks to himself: Remarkable, He inspired the others on staying. 78 left more than I expected, I don't see anyone wavering. I think that's it.) Well then I admire your determination. For all of you staying there is one thing left to do. And that's to tell you, you all passed the first part of the exams.

Ryuki: Wait.........What......(Looks around confused)

Naruto: (Drops his pencil) huh.........

Sakura: Wait a second hold on, what do you mean we passed? Where's the tenth question?

Rin: I had enough. (lays her head on the desk) I wanna go home.

Ibiki: There never was a tenth question, Or a written one at least. Your answer to stay was for the tenth question.

Temari: So what about the other questions? Were they just a waste of time?

Ibiki: No no not at all. It was to see your ability to collect information under the most dangerous situations.

Ryuki: Oh. Okay that makes sense. (Rubs under his chin)

Rin & Shikamaru: (Thinks to themselves: Ryuki has no idea what he means.)

Ibiki: My job was not only to test your skills has an individual but as a team. That's why we connected the scoring as a team, so you'd know if you mess up, your team messing up along with you. I wanted to see how you handled the pressure. 

Naruto: (Nods) I figure it was something like that. That's why I kept my cool.

Ryuki: Bullshit.

Sakura: What a liar.

Hinata: (Quietly laughs)

Ibiki: The first nine questions were difficult, and as you may know too difficult for any genin to answer. I imagine most of you quickly came to that conclusion. In fact we encouraged you guys to cheat and almost demanded it. Of course it would've been good so I disguised some Chunnin as students who already knew the answer and had them sit in with you.

Naruto: The answers were right in front of me the whole time! Aw come on I totally knew that. You'd had to be a complete idiot not to know that, right hinata?

Sasuke: Wow. So the whole time, (Pauses) he didn't know.

Ibiki: Those who were caught at cheating failed, It's better to cheat than cheat clumsy (takes off his headband and reveals some battle scars) Information can be a valuable thing in battle. There'll be times you'll have to risk your life to get it.

Ryuki: He looks like he's been through hell and back trying to get some info.

Ibiki: But you have to be careful, info from the enemy isn't entirely accurate. Bear this at mind, this information is better than no information. It can mean the death of your allies or the destruction of your village. That's why I pulled you into a position to gather accurate information. Cheat in order to survive. that's why those who weren't good at it got caught.

Temari: Okay. But I still don't get the point of the tenth question?

Ibiki: Well it was the whole point of the test, do you not see.

Ryuki: Yeah, but explain it anyways.

Ibiki: Like I said before it was to test your ability not only as a individual but as a team. The final question have you two choices. You could choose to play it safe and skip the question which would mean you and your teammates would fail, but if you stay you'd lose another chance to try again. It was no win situation. There will be many missions that will seems suicidal if you think about it. So don't think about, you think only of the goal and you find a way through courage and discipline. Those are the qualities to be a chunnin squad leader. Those who tries to save there own necks instead of trying are not worthy of becoming a chunnin. 

Ryuki: Wow.....

Ibiki: As for the rest of you, You've successfully answered all ten questions. You have earned the rights to continue the next part of the exams. I hear by declare this part of the chunnin exams completed. I wish you all good luck.

Naruto: All right! We did it!

*After being congratulated someone jumps through the window and throws kunai's at the wall*

Ryuki: Aw crap what now!?

Anko: Heads up boy and girls! This is no time to be celebrating. I'll be your next Procter, Anko Mitarashi! Ready for the second test? Good let's go! Follow me!

*The whole class gets quiet*

Ryuki: Um, okay.

Ibiki: Your early. Again.
