It was a quiet day on the edge all the riders were doing training for a recone  flight .

" Snotlot,Snotlout ,oh,oh,oy" Snotlout chanted as he hit the target with his Axe  " good , job ,Snotlout " Hiccup told him " That's right , your looking at him " Snotlout replied anoyingly " Does he ever shut his mouth ?" Asked Heather " Hardly " Astrid replied " huh" Heatger said walking away with Astrid . " good work today , gang " Hiccup spoke " all though , Ruff and Tuff you guys were a little flat " Hiccup said " Really ?...I thought we were going great " Tuffnut replied dumly " since when do you think ?" Astrid asked making Hiccup and Heather laugh " Well my thinking comes out of my mouth " Tuffnut replied looking very serious " Tuffnut we already know that ...you never stop coming up with crazy Loki pranks and idears " Fishlegs told him " you are right, Fishlegs we are the Loki masters " Tuffnut yelled making the other riders cover their ears " okay settle down , Tuff" Hiccup asked "okay,fine" Tuffnut replied and followed the other riders to the club house were Snotlout was waiting 

" um, Heather you have a visater " Snotlout told the young  women pointing to the small dog sized dragon " Gaffe " Heather said excitedly . Gaffe had grown over the past 6 months . Since  the last time Heather had seen him . " at least he doesn't scream anymore " Snotlout said " no kidding " Astrid replied " so how old is he now ?" Asked Ruffnut " I'd say he's in he's in his teens "Fishlegs told the gang " cool " The twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut both said pumping their hands in the air " remember when we were that yough , sis ?" Tuffnut hugged his sister making her puch his arm " seems like yesterday day " Tuffnut said " very funny " Astrid spoke " can we have a real conversation now ?" The blond Viking asked " I thought we were " Tuffnut replied back making Astrid roll her eyes at him then Gaffe started humming Heathers song that she sung to him when he was a younger Dragon. " aw how cute he rembebered the song you sang to him,Heather" Fishlegs told her " Hey ,Gaffe " Heather noticed a wound just below his neck " Hey,guys " Heather  mentioned " yeah " Hiccup Walked  over to were she was " Do you think dragon hunters did this or another dragon ?" Asked Astrid just noticing what Heather had noticed on the Garffes neck " Dragon hunters I'd have to guess " Hiccup looked at the wound " it looks infected ,Hiccup" Fishlegs looking concerned " I'll clean it " Heather got a bucket of fresh water and a rag . " come here , Gaffe" Heather said holding her hands out for him which he tried to fly to her but failed .And  that's when Heather noticed he had another deeper bigger scratch on his left wing ." Oh, Garffe you poor thing " Heather spoke in a soft voice feeling her symperthy for Garffe which that cut was also infected " come on , Gaffe lets get these cut cleaned up " she held the dragon in one arm and the rag in the other and dipped the rag in the cold water " Hey, it's okay,  Gaffe" she told him when he roared out in pain " The sky is dark and the hills are white as the storm King speeds from the north tonight " Heather sang comfortingly " This is the song the Storm King sings as over the world his click he flings " the dragon in her arms's started to forget about the pain " sleep,sleep little one sleep " Heather sang " he rustles his wings and gruffly sings " Sleep little one , sleep " She had finished cleaning the dragons wounds . " That was beautiful , Heather " Fishlegs wiped tears of joyed from his eyes " Thanks ,Fishlegs " She smiled " well looks like Gaffes asleep " Snotlout broke the silence " and so are ,Ruff and Tuff " Hiccup chuckled
