After the events of the conflict against the Kingdom of Falmuth and the Western Holy Church, you and Rimuru succeeded in wiping out their allied force and harvesting their souls to evolve into True Demon Lords. Soon after evolving into a new Demon Lord, Rimuru with the help from his newly evolved inner voice, Raphael, used the ultimate skill 'Beelzebub' to revive the ones that were killed in the initial attack on Tempest, as all your citizens including those that were revived, were given gifts during yours and his Harvest Festival. Afterwards, some time had passed since their revival and while everyone remained around you and Rimuru, the slime in question began regaining consciousness as his color was returning to normal.

"Wh-What happened?" Rimuru's thoughts were a bit dazed and slow due to the evolution as the color in his slime form slowly grew brighter and livelier. "Is everyone...Was our evolution successful?" He thought in wonder, and a few voices decided to speak up.

"Oh, he's waking up. Good." Rimuru heard as he recognized this voice to be Malenia's.

"Yes. Your evolution to Demon Lord, the Harvest Festival, was completed successfully." Raphael informed him as this put Rimuru at ease.

"Oh, good..." Rimuru thought as the color in his body was back to normal, and even the lines that make out his expressions in his normal form was back, but while he was in his thoughts, he heard a faint voice.

"Great Rimuru! You've awakened!" The voice was hazy, but his senses were slowly clearing up and catching up to him as he looked around in confusion before looking up above him, and what he saw was the one thing he had hoped would work out of all this.

"Good morning, Great Rimuru." Shion greeted him with her most kind and caring smile as she was sat on the steps of the pedestal that he was resting on before, holding him in her arms.

"...Morning, Shion. I'm glad you made it back." Rimuru said as he felt a rush of relief come over him as he settled in her arms and had a bashful blush on his blue cheeks.

"Yes, thanks to you both, Great Rimuru and Great Y/N." Shion said as everyone was already gathered around with smiles seeing that Rimuru had awoken.

"Don't worry us like that again, understand? That's an order." Rimuru ordered her as Shion smiled at that order that she would follow to the best of her ability.

"Understood. Never again." Shion said as she lovingly pat and stroked the top of Rimuru's body.

"Great Rimuru?!" One of the citizens nearby said in shock as he ran over to the crowd gathered around him.

"He's awake!" Another yelled in joy as they ran over.

Within an instant, the news of Rimuru's awakening had spread like wild fire as everyone rushed over to the plaza and organized themselves before kneeling in front of their slime leader. Shion gladly resumed the job that she was most use to as she stood up from where she sat and stood in front of the crowd while lifting Rimuru high up in the air for all to revere.

"Great Rimuru and Great Y/N have succeeded in bringing all of us back to life!" Shion announced as the light from the sun reflected off Rimuru's body, making him shiny and sparkling.

"We have all been resurrected, without a single soul left behind!" The ones who were killed and had been resurrected, all spoke in unison as Rimuru couldn't help but feel like a huge weight had been lifted off his soul as he stared at all of them with relief.

"Yeah." Rimuru said before noticing something was different with everyone. "You guys all look...kinda different somehow..." He said, but Raphael spoke up to answer for him.

"Notice. All those connected to your soul have been given gifts, which caused them to evolve." Raphael explained to him.

"Really? Also, you're speaking more fluently now, aren't you?" Rimuru noticed the difference in how his inner voice was speaking to him.

"No. This is how I have always spoken. It's just your imagination." Raphael denied his allegations.

"Oh, okay! Guess I imagined it! Hahahaha!" Rimuru laughed in a fake tone before breaking away from that voice. "Wait! Like hell I did! You sound way more fluent!" He wasn't buying what she said for a single second as Malenia's voice popped up.

"Ahahahahaha!!! Nice one, Raphael! You played that joke perfectly!" Malenia said as Rimuru was irritated.

"What did you do to my inner voice, Malenia-san?!" Rimuru asked as he was about to pin the blame for Great Sage speaking differently on Malenia.

"Notice. The truth is that your unique skill 'Great Sage' evolved into the ultimate skill 'Raphael'." Rimuru's inner voice re-introduced herself to him as he was shocked.

"Raphael?! You must be pretty amazing if you have an angel's name!" Rimuru said as his expectations were high.

"There is no question that I cannot answer." Raphael said confidently, while maintaining a somewhat monotone voice.

"Y-Yeah? Well, I'll look forward to that!" Rimuru said as he couldn't ignore how well she spoke now. "You do speak more fluently now, don't you?!" He asked.

"No. It's your imagination." Raphael denied the allegations once again.

"You're gonna keep insisting on that, huh?" Rimuru said with no expectations of her confirming his suspicions as Malenia could be heard laughing in his soul as that conversation ended.

"By the way, Great Rimuru..." Benimaru spoke up from Rimuru's right side as the slime looked towards him. "Just to make sure, allow me to test whether or not you retained your reason after becoming a Demon Lord." Benimaru said while standing to his feet and stepping forward as Shion lowered Rimuru from the air.

"Huh?" Rimuru said in confusion of what he meant.

"Shion's cooking..." Benimaru began the phrase they were supposed to say together, as Rimuru remembered what he was supposed to say and gasped in extreme nervousness.

Flashback, After the War Meeting

"Great Rimuru. To test whether or not you retain your reason after becoming a Demon Lord, shall we come up with a password?" Benimaru suggested to ensure that everything would go accordingly to plan after you and Rimuru evolved.

"A password? How would Y/N even do it since he isn't here to know about it?" Rimuru said in wonder.

"We will figure out something for Y/N once he awakens, but we can focus on you for the time being. Such as..." Benimaru trailed off as he came up with a perfect password. " 'Shion's cooking tastes like shit.' " Benimaru said as a shocked symbol formed on Rimuru's slime body.

"Huh?!" Rimuru exclaimed as he didn't know if what he heard was real.

"I'll say, 'Shion's cooking...', and you say, '...tastes like shit.' Got it?" Benimaru said as Rimuru was beyond baffled.

"What kind of password is that?! Shion will be pissed!" Rimuru exclaimed as his body was sputtering around in shock as Benimaru smiled.

"That's why it's ideal. She might just get mad enough to awaken and complain." Benimaru said as Rimuru felt a bit better after he worded it like that.

"R-Right...Okay, then." Rimuru said nervously as Benimaru looked at him with a determined, serious look in his eye.

"We will see this through at any cost." Benimaru said as Rimuru's nervousness was quickly put to ease by his demeanor.

"Yeah." Rimuru remembered accepting this condition.

Flashback Over

Benimaru smirked at his leader as he managed to lure Rimuru into this dangerous trap, even more dangerous since Rimuru was in the hands of the person that was going to have 'belittle' due to the password he agreed to. Rimuru was sputtering and sweating nervously as he turned his body to look at Shion, who raised him up to her face with a gentle and excited smile.

"What abbout my cooking, Great Rimuru?" Shion asked excitedly as her smile glowed so brightly with expectations.

"I can't respond with 'tastes like shit' now!" Rimuru thought as he was confused and terrified of what he should say with Shion in front of him.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! THIS IS SOME FUNNY STUFF!!! That Benimaru sure caught you in a trap! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" Malenia was laughing hysterically inside of Rimuru's soul.

"Great Rimuru, your answer." Benimaru urged Rimuru as he stepped closer to hear him say the next part nice and loudly as Rimuru flinched nervously and looked sad and scared. "If you've retained your reason, you can say it!" He insisted.

"Benimaruuuuuuuuu!" Rimuru cursed Benimaru as he held a small slime fist up in anger towards the red Kijin before turning away from Shion and putting small slime hands together in prayer. "Lord of Wisdom, Raphael! You're up! Use your wisdom to come up with a great answer I can give that'll fool Shion!" Rimuru immediately put Raphael's skills to the test as he was counting on his inner voice for rescue.

"Answer. The applicable answer..." Raphael trailed off.

"What is it?!" Rimuru asked as he rubbed his little slime hands together in hope.

"...does not exist." Raphael revealed as Rimuru was baffled and Malenia began cackling in lunacy.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! DID YOUR HUMOR EVOLVE WITH YOU?!?!? YOU'RE KILLLING ME AND I'M TECHNICALLY ALREADY DEAD!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!!!!!" Malenia was losing hold of herself.

"HUH?! YOU'RE USELESS! I THOUGHT THERE WAS NO QUESTION YOU COULDN'T ANSWER!!!!" Rimuru berated his inner voice while swiping his little slime appendage up and down at his inner voice in rage.

"Well? What about my cooking?" Shion asked as he snapped Rimuru back to reality and he poked his little slime hands together nervously.

"Yeah, uh..." Rimuru trailed off as he was absolutely lost about how he would get through this near impossible situation as Benimaru silently chuckled into his hand.

"You wish to eat some? He seemed really sad that he couldn't eat any while you were dead." Benimaru told Shion as he struggled to keep himself from breaking down in laughter, but toughed it out as he stopped his body from twitching in humor.

"He set me up!" Rimuru thought in shock of Benimaru's actions as Shion turned to Rimuru with happy tears in her eyes while Benimaru quickly laughed into his hand quietly.

"Is that true? I'll gladly make you something!" Shion said with joy as she rubbed her cheek against Rimuru's body lovingly as Rimuru was scared for what would happen to him. 

"But I do recommend giving this answer." Raphael spoke up as Rimuru was surprised.

"Raphael!" Rimuru said as some hope returned to him.

"Are you ready?" Raphael asked him as Rimuru carefully listened to the answer she suggested he say to them.

"Uh-huh...Uh-huh..." Rimuru thought as he managed to remember everything she said and was ready. "Of course! That's my Lord of Wisdom!" Rimuru thanked her before turning confidently on Shion's hands and pointing to Benimaru with his little slime hands. "Ah, Benimaru-kun..." Rimuru spoke up as Benimaru was confused by his sudden change in attitude. "Ahem! You're asking me for the password you came up with, yes? When you say, 'Shion's cooking,' I'm supposed to say, 'tastes like shit.'" He flipped the table on Benimaru as the red Kijin was shocked by how Rimuru responded to this trap while the slime in Shion's hand pointed at him in a petty manner. "You're the one who told me to say that, right? YOU! TOLD! ME! TO!" Rimuru emphasized out loud for Shion to hear as Benimaru began to panic.

"G-Great Rimuru!" Benimaru was in awe and shocked as Shion stood silent with a shadow over her eyes. 

"You do remember that, don't you? That's the password you came up with! Do you see now that I still have my reason?" Rimuru was getting some payback on Benimaru, but Shion turned towards her fellow Kijin with Rimuru as the two of them were startled by her sudden movement.

"W-Wait, Shion! Great Rimuru is still a bit confused, having just awakened!" Benimaru tried calming down Shion as he backed away to seek aid from those behind him, but the group behind him quickly shuffled away, not wanting to be caught in this storm.

"I understand." Shion said in a nerve wracking tone as she began stretching Rimuru's body with her hands instinctively in rage as Rimuru groaned from the uncomfortable stretching as a dark purple aura began leaking out of her. "Sir Benimaru...no, Benimaru. I serve Great Rimuru and Great Y/N directly, so I don't need to use a title for you anymore." She said as a terrifying smile appeared on her face while she looked to her former superior. "Allow me to fill your belly with my cooking until it bursts." She said as Benimaru grew a horrified and fearful smile on his face before Shion suddenly handed Rimuru over to him and he watched in a cold-sweat as she walked away with a vengeful smile on her face.

"How could you do that to me?!" Benimaru asked Rimuru in shock of how he turned things on him.

"Try not to die, okay?" Rimuru encouraged Benimaru with a small tap on the shoulder.

" 'Try' not to?!" Benimaru repeated as he raised his head nervously. "Well, since I've been taste-testing it for so long, I did learn Poison Resistance recently..." Benimaru admitted as Rimuru looked at him in shock.

"Poison Resistance?!" Rimuru said in shock of how he learned a new resistance.

"But this time...I might die." Benimaru said in a morbid tone as a cold breeze blew by them.

"Um...Well, you reap what you sow." Rimuru said as he hopped out of Benimaru's hands.

"Oh...R-Right. We don't have time for all this. There is still a problem." Benimaru said as he remembered that some issues still hadn't been resolved yet.

"Before we do that, is Y/N awake yet?" Rimuru asked as Benimaru turned himself around and faced Rimuru to let him see you were still unconscious with your dorsal plates pulsing red every few moments. "Take me over to him, please." He asked as Benimaru walked him over to your body as they stood a few feet away. "Why hasn't he awakened yet?" Rimuru thought in wonder.

"He's absorbing energy from planet. Do you see his dorsal plates flashing?" Malenia spoke up as Rimuru looked upwards at the specific part of your body she was talking about. "The flashing signifies the energy he's absorbing. However, this is strange..." She spoke in a confused tone.

"What's wrong?" Rimuru asked her.

"For the most part, the colors that he usually flashed were either white or blue, but his dorsal plates have a tint of red..." Malenia said in wonder as she examined you through Rimuru's eyes. "Rimuru, can you place your hand on him?" She asked the slime for help.

"Benimaru, take me closer, please." Rimuru asked his aid.

"Of course." Benimaru nodded as he walked over to you with Rimuru in his hands and held him closer to your body as Rimuru stuck out a small slime appendage and was going to place it on your body, but a strange barrier warded him off with a spark of red energy.

"W-What was that?" Rimuru said in surprise.

"I-I don't know...This hasn't happened before." Benimaru spoke in confusion as he held Rimuru with one hand and used his other to reach out to you, and surprisingly, he was able to place his hand on your body. "I-I'm able to place a hand on him, but Great Rimuru cannot?" He said in shock.

"Answer. Y/N seems to be reacting to the being, Malenia." Raphael spoke up as this was shocking to Rimuru and Malenia.

"What do you mean, Raphael?" Rimuru said in wonder.

"It seems that during Y/N's evolution, a new ultimate skill took place and is blocking Malenia from re-entering his body or is rejecting her attempts to merge with his soul." Raphael explained.

"Are you able to analyze it?" Rimuru asked.

"No, due to the barrier rejecting Malenia, thus rejecting you, I am unable to attempt any appraisals of his body or soul. The only assumption to be made is that the new ultimate skill is rejecting Malenia's consciousness." Raphael said as this was disheartening.

"What I do...?" Malenia said as she was beginning to worry.

"Don't worry, Malenia-san. Once he wakes up, we'll figure out what to do. He can probably merge with you somehow. Let's keep our faith in him." Rimuru said in reassurance.

"O-Okay..." Malenia said as Benimaru and Rimuru stared at you in wonder, but they were interrupted when someone called out to them.

"Lord Rimuru! You're awake, thank goodness." A female's voice called to them as they turned to their left and Rimuru saw someone walking towards them, and he didn't recognize them.

The woman walking towards them looked to stand at about 172 centimeters, had a petite build with bright red hair that was tied up in a high pony tail. Her eyes were amber colored and her skin was fair as along the edges of her arms was red hued skin that reached to her elbow and a pair of wings on her back. She wore brown short-shorts with knee high brown black boots, a white crop-top shirt and a long red cape that was attached to a scarf around her neck. The woman walked up to them both and got on one knee in respect of Rimuru.

"You're...?" Rimuru trailed off as he was unsure if who he thought she was.

"Riza. I'm glad you've finally awakened." Riza said as Rimuru formed shocked eyes that popped out from his slime body in shock.

"Riza?! You're really Riza?!?" Rimuru said as Riza stood up with an amused smile on her face.

"Believe it or not, yes. After I fell asleep and received my gift, I noticed that I had taken this form already. It was a shock for everyone at first because I ended being nude when I changed, and Shuna had to hurriedly get me clothes." Riza admitted as Rimuru grew an awkward sweat mark on his body.

"That would be a bit awkward, yeah..." Rimuru didn't wanna ponder the thought as he realized something. "Wait, if the plan worked, then..." He trailed off as Riza nodded with a smile as she turned around and waved her arm to some people behind her.

"Hey! Hurry and greet Lord Rimuru already!" Riza called out as Rimuru leaned out of Benimaru's hands a little to see who she was talking to.

"Lord Rimuru!!!" Rimuru heard a pair of female voices call out as when he saw who was heading over, his face exploded in a huge blush as an exclamation mark formed in his body.

Rimuru's eyes locked onto two pairs of bouncy, boisterous, plump lumps of flesh that bounced up and down each time the ladies heading towards him took a step. One of the girl was about 164 centimeters tall, had skin almost as white as snow, with shiny white hair and bright blue eyes, and on her back were beautifully colored moth wings with orange and black details, while on the top of her forehead were two white feather shaped antenna's. Rimuru noticed that her clothing was similar to that of a traditional Japanese kimono that matched her color palette with orange being the main color, accented by black details and a white obi with flower like blue flower like designs on it, and she wore Zori sandals to complete the look, with her breast area looking like a soft pillow as the seams around there were lined with a feathery design. Rimuru reached a definite conclusion that this was Mai, the cute moth that was by your side since the beginning of you two becoming leaders of the old goblin village. The next girl stood at almost 150 centimeters exactly and she had a slightly more tanned skin color than Riza's, black hair tied in a nice bun that was held by a red ribbon, as red scales ran up along her arm like a this layer of armor, an orange horn on the top of her forehead, and a red tail on her lower back. She wore black martial arts pants and black slip-on shoes while adorning a sleeveless red shirt designed with golden flowers all over, and gold ring bracelets on both her wrist. Remembering who had a horn and tail like this girl, Rimuru deduced that this was Lilia. The two girls ran over in excitement as they took hold of the slime and held him between themselves.

"Good morning, Lord Rimuru!" They exclaimed in unison as Rimuru gasped in shock and awe when he felt their breasts sandwich him, one side being soft, fluffy and warm, and the other being nice, smooth, and cool.

"OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH~~~~!!" Rimuru gasped in awe as he grew a massive blush on his face.

"We're so glad you've awakened." Mai exclaimed with a kind smile on her face.

"Welcome back, Lord Rimuru." Lilia greeted him with her best smile as Rimuru was almost like puddy in their arms.

"I never expected to feel like this anywhere else except Dwargon..." Rimuru said before sputtering in shock when he felt someone grab him and pull him away.

"Hey, you two can't just grab him out of no where." Riza said as she held him respectively and close to her chest.

"Ah, this feeling compared to those two..." Rimuru trailed off as he noticed the hard and plank like texture of Riza's breast, but gasped in surprise when Riza violently turned him around and glared down at him with a fiery gaze.

"What was that?" Riza said with a scary tone as steam was leaking from her mouth and Rimuru began to scream and panic.

"N-N-NOTHING!! Nothing at all! Benimaru!" Rimuru called for him as Riza clicked her tongue while tossing Rimuru over to the red kijin who stood by awkwardly. "W-Well, it's great to see you all doing well. I'm sure Y/N would be more than elated if he saw you three right now." He said as Mai and Lilia nodded to him.

"Yes. We've been waiting by his side ever since we woke up." Mai said as she stared at you longingly. 

"Thank you, Lord Rimuru. If it weren't for you and my Lord, we wouldn't be here today." Lilia said as she bowed her head, making Rimuru bashful.

"Ah, don't worry about it. By the way, where's Honda?" Rimuru asked as he was confused by the absence of 

"I'm here." They heard a male voice call out from behind the girls as the sound of heavy boots stomped towards them and Rimuru was in awe when he saw the one who responded.

Heading over towards them was a tall man who seemingly stood at 193 centimeters, with brownish skin, brown eyes, and dusty brown-colored hair that was tied in a messy pony tail. This man was extremely muscular and wore what looked like armor with small spikes all over the pieces. The chest plate he wore had spikes on the back as a tail ran out and free from his lower back, he wore gauntlets that covered his forearms and the top of his fists with spikes, and lower leg armor that covered the front of his thighs, knees that had a single spike on the ends, and armored boots with spike-shaped toes. The man stopped in front of Rimuru as he pointed at himself with his thumb.

"I'm the guy yer lookin' for, Honda." Honda introduced himself like Rimuru thought he would, but to the slime's surprise, suddenly dropped on one knee and bowed his head. "Thank you for returning, Lord Rimuru." He said as Rimuru was shocked by Honda's curtsey.

"Huh?! Honda? What's wrong? Did your personality change?" Rimuru asked in worry as Honda irked in irritation.

"No!" Honda said in annoyance as Rimuru flinched from him suddenly raising his voice as the humanoid Ankylosaur sighed. "After everythin' that's happened and after dyin' only to come back from the dead, I figured I try gettin' better at this life he gave me." Honda said as he stared at you with a furrowed brow. "I need 'im to wake up so we can do things like normal again, otherwise what was the point of it all?" He said before growing confused when Mai walked in front of him and held out her hand.

"I'm sure the point he would tell all of us is that we should live according to our lives, and do the best we can for one another..." Mai trailed off as she reached down and took Honda's hand. "...Because we're family." She said as Honda was in awe of what she said before scoffing and standing up with her help.

"Right, that's some stupid stuff he would say. I don't get it at all..." Honda said while placing his hands behind his head as Mai pouted in frustration of what he said. "...but, I'll do my best just like he wants. That's something I can get behind at least." He said as the others smiled at his words, but were shocked when he suddenly ran up and smashed his fist against your tail. "SO HURRY THE HELL UP AND GET OFF YOUR ASS, DAMN IT!!! I NEED A SPARRING PARTNER!! ORRRAAA!!!!" Honda was about to punch your tail again, but...

"HIYAAA!!" Lilia let out a battle cry as she sent a palm strike towards Honda's exposed side, striking him and making spit up in shock before the humanoid Ankylosaur crashed to the ground twitching in shock.

"Sorry, Lord Rimuru. He's been like this for the past three days ever since he woke up." Lilia said as something in that sentece shocked Rimuru.

"Huh?! Three days?! I've been asleep for three days?!" Rimuru said as they were surprised by his outburst.

"That's what I was trying to get to you about." Benimaru said as Rimuru looked to him and the others listened in as well while Lilia dragged Honda by his tail as he remained unable to move. "Something drastic happened in the Animal Kingdom of Eurazania." Benimaru said as he held Rimuru with one hand and gestured to his left as they turned to see Albis, Suphia, and Phobio standing in the middle of the street waiting for him, and they wore troubled looks on their faces.

After gathering in the meeting hall to reconvene and listen to the story of what happened in the Animal Kingdom, fetching Grucius since it was also his home, everyone gathered in Rimuru's office as Rimuru was in shock of what he heard transpired in Eurazania, and that Milim was the one who annihilated their home with showcase of unbelievable power, along with another named Frey who teamed with Milim and took down Carrion.

"So Eurazania was totally destroyed?" Rimuru said in disbelief as he sat on top of the end of the table.

"Yes. I saw it happen." Phobio said with a heavy tone as Grucius was in disbelief of hearing what happened to his home.

"But we did evacuate all the citizens in advance, so they are safe." Albis said as Rimuru's inner benevolence kicked in.

"We need to arrange lodging and food for the refugees!" Rimuru said to Rigurd who was in the room with them.

"Right! I hesitated to do so without asking you, but I have already taken care of that." Rigurd revealed that he moved ahead without asking Rimuru.

"Oh, good. I can always count on you." Rimuru said as Rigurd was pleased from his praise.

"We are grateful. We're also sorry that Y/N has not awoken yet. We had spoken with him briefly about this manner before the events that transpired here." Albis said as Rimuru rolled on his desk towards them.

"It's okay, he'll wake up soon. Still...the Demon Lord Frey was with Milim?" Rimuru said in confusion of two Demon Lords working together in such a plan.

"We never imagined two Demon Lords would team up. Above all, we believed Demon Lord Milim hated those kinds of tactics." Phobi said as Rimuru agreed in that manner.

"Yeah, it does seem a bit unnatural. I can't picture Milim playing dirty, either." Rimuru said as Phobio stepped forward.

"Regarding that..." Phobio spoke up as Rimuru paid attention to him and saw he was clearly angered by something. "The direction in which Demon Lord Frey flew afterward was neither her own domain nor Lord Milim's." He said as Rimuru was perplexed.

"Hm? What does that mean?" Rimuru asked as Phobio furrowed his brow.

"She was flying toward Demon Lord Clayman's domain." Phobio revealed as even Suphia and Albis were not aware of this information, tying this new scenario back to Clayman.

"Okay, I gotta go!" Suphia said in rage as she was about to run out of the room and chase off into Clayman's territory.

"Stop, Suphia!" Albis called as Suphia stopped in her tracks to look to her superior. "If you're thinking of getting revenge, we'll all go together." Albis said as she wasn't opposed to storming off after Clayman, but Rimuru didn't want them to be too rash.

"Hang on a minute, you guys." Rimuru spoke up as they all turned back towards him. "I think Demon Lord Carrion is still alive. And Milim has to be pissed that their duel was interrupted. Something's going on behind all this. So you guys better not go flying off the handle over this. We won't be able to help anyone unless we work together." Rimuru said as he offered your nations aid to their wishes under the condition of cooperation.

"Very well." Albis said as she respectfully bowed to Rimuru.

"All right/Understood." Suphia and Phobio also bowed in agreement as Grucius joined them silently, as he too felt worried about his people.

"Is it Demon Lord Clayman pulling the strings? So in the worst case, we could be up against three Demon Lords?" Rimuru thought as this situation against Clayman was only getting messier and messier.

After trying to process all the information Albis and the others had on their situation, Rimuru needed to take a break and went out with Ranga to spend some time to himself to think. He went the top of a nearby hill that looked out over the entire city and you since you were the size of almost half the city, and took this time to contemplate things. It was around sunset as he gazed to the distance in wonder.

"Well, what should we do now?" Rimuru said in wonder, but his moment of peace was interrupted when Ranga snapped his head to the left with a fierce look in his eye. "What's wrong?" He asked before they saw a black shadow appear in front of them before it reshaped and the Archdemon appeared before Rimuru.

"I am glad to see you have awakened, my lord." The Archdemon said with joy as he bowed to Rimuru with his hand across his chest.

"Uh, yeah..." Rimuru said awkwardly.

"I offer my sincere congratulations on your successful evolution to Demon Lord." The Archdemon rejoiced at Rimuru's success, but the Slime was beyond lost as to who he was.

"Um...Who were you again?" Rimuru asked bluntly as the Archdemon flinched as if that question physically injured him, making him stagger back seemingly in pain as he held his head before toughing his mental troubles through with a pained smile. 

"S-Surely you jest...Even I, a demon, find my heart wounded." The Archdemon said as he grew a nervous and saddened look on his face as Rimuru looked at him closely.

"He looks like a pretty high-ranking demon...I have no idea who he is, though." Rimuru thought as he didn't know what to do with this demon.

"He is the demon that was summoned when you consumed the soldiers of Falmuth." Ranga reminded Rimuru of who this person was as Rimuru's memory finally connected together.

"Oh, right! So you're still around, huh?" Rimuru said in surprise and amazement, while the Archdemon's reaction was well...

"S-Still...?" The Archdemon struggled as he forced another smile, though the pain from that word still lingered.

"Hey, I heard you helped me out a lot! I appreciate it!" Rimuru said as the demon's emotions instantly perked up with excitement.

"Please, no thanks are necessary." The Archdemon returned to his gentlemanly demeanor as he walked towards Rimuru and Ranga. "On that note--!" He was about to say something, but...

"Sorry to keep you for so long. You can go home now." Rimuru gestured with little slime arms as the sophisticated, high-ranking demon let out a shocked whimper.

"Go...home...?" The demon muttered in awe as he was trembling in sadness.

"Yeah!" Rimuru said enthusiastically, unaware of how cruel his words were unintentionally slicing the demon's feelings into ribbons. "Huh? What's wrong?" He asked in confusion as the demon collapsed to one knee in near tears as he bowed his head loyally to Rimuru.

"Please, don't say such a thing! As I asked of you previously, I wish to serve as yours and the other lord's lowest, most humble servant!" The Archdemon said as Rimuru was surprised.

"You want to serve us?" Rimuru said in disbelief. "But this guy's obviously a lot higher-ranked than something like a greater demon, right?" Rimuru thought in confusion of the demon's wishes as Malenia sighed.

"Jeez, Rimuru. How could you cut a man down like that? Is this what happens when someone turns into a Demon Lord nowadays? Where's the chivalry or compassion? Don't you think, Raphael?" Malenia said in a playful manner.

"It is as you say." Raphael responded as Rimuru was feeling more pressure thanks to them.

"Hey, Ranga, is this really the demon I summoned?" Rimuru whispered quietly to Ranga in confusion.

"Without a doubt." Ranga whispered back to confirm.

"I see...Well, okay, then..." Rimuru muttered as he took the best course of action that he thought would settle things in a nice manner. "We won't pay you or anything. Is that okay?" Rimuru asked in wonder of how the demon would react to this proposal, and upon hearing the offer, the demon couldn't be more excited with the look in his eyes.

"It would bring me the greatest joy you simply to serve you two." The Archdemon immediately jumped on the offer.

"Then it's a deal." Rimuru agreed as the demon couldn't be any happier than now.

"Ohhh! Thank you so much, my lord!" The Archdemon said with sincerity as he bowed his head low.

"Drop the 'my lord' thing, though. It creeps me out. Also, I think it's trademarked by Y/N at this point, since the ones closest to him call him by that..." Rimuru said in a bashful tone as he hopped off Ranga's head and bounced in front of the demon. "Rimuru's fine. Just call me Rimuru." The slime assured the demon to speak with him in familiarity, but the demon looked out to the sun with awe and joy from hearing his name.

"Rimuru...What a beautiful ring it has. The same with Y/N!" The demon exclaimed in glee as he basked in the light he thought was bringing him good fortune, but it was just the setting sun as Rimuru watched awkwardly. "Then I shall henceforth accompany you both, Great Rimuru." The demon raised one hand to Rimuru, and then one to you in the distance. "And Lord Y/N." He said as he seemed to want to continue to call you by the title 'lord'.

"And what's your name?" Rimuru asked him.

"I am more than content to remain a nameless demon." The demon said with joy, but Rimuru was surprised.

"You don't have a name? Then I'll give you one in place of payment." Rimuru offered with kindness as the demon got down on both knees in shock and joy in front of his new master.

"What?! That is the greatest reward you could give me!" The demon said as he seemed to be sparkling with excitement and anticipation.

"Let's see...You're a demon, so you should have a demonic name." Rimuru said as he contemplated different names, but then instantly had one come to mind. "I know! Your name is Diablo!" He exclaimed as the demon was amazed.

"Diablo..." The newly named Diablo repeated his name in awe.

"It straight-up means 'demon', but there was a supercar with that name, too. I see no downsides." Rimuru thought without worry as he accepted his new underling. "Serve us well enough to live up to that name!" Rimuru said as Diablo stood up in a respectful stance, and Rimuru grew confused and surprised when power from his body came out like tentacles and surrounded Diablo in a cocoon of magicules as it seemed like he was undergoing a change, and Rimuru had to shake off a weird feeling from his body. "That took about half of my magicules, but summoning the greater demon Beretta took about 30%, so I guess that's less than I expected." Rimuru thought in surprise of this use case.

"Notice. Since you evolved, your magicules have vastly increased. For this reason, a fair comparison cannot be made." Raphael informed him of the increase of his magicules.

"How much more, anyway?" Rimuru asked in wonder.

"Ten times what you previously had." Raphael stated.

"Huh?!" Rimuru said in shock as his slime form looked like...

"I have a feeling he's gonna evolve into a hell of a fiend..." Rimuru thought in worry as Diablo's cocoon dispersed and he emerged in new attire befitting a butler.

"Ohh! He looks so strong!" Rimuru thought in awe.

"Diablo...That is my name. My heart overflows with gratitude, Great Rimuru. From this day forth, you and Lord Y/N have my full devotion." Diablo said with absolute loyalty to you both.

"Hm! We'll be counting on you." Rimuru said as Diablo descended down to the ground and rested on both his knees to be of service.

"Now, it seemed as though something was troubling you. Please tell me, if you don't mind." Diablso said as he wanted to Rimuru to know he could confide in him.

"Oh, it's no big deal...Okay, that's a like, but...It's about the future." Rimuru admitted.

"Meaning?" Diablo asked him.

"There are too many problems at once right now. The thing with Clayman...The aftermath of the Kingdom of Falmuth...And how to deal with the Western Holy Church that views monsters as enemies. Not to mention that my other half, Y/N, hasn't woken up yet." Rimuru said as he was clearly under a lot of pressure.

"I see." Diablo said, and in that moment, Raphael interruped Rimuru.

"Notice. I believe there is no need to worry about the Western Holy Church." Raphael said as Rimuru was perplexed by what she meant.

"Why?" Rimuru asked her.

"Because the Appraisal of the Unlimited Imprisonment that seals the individual named Veldora is nearly complete." Raphael said as this shocked Rimuru.

"Huh?! So it's seriously possible to free Veldora?!" Rimuru said as Malenia was surprised by this.

"Huh? Veldora's still alive?" Malenia said before realizing something and growing irritated at Rimuru. "Wait! You ate my student, Rimuru?!" She yelled at him.

"Seriously." Raphael responded to both Rimuru while also confirming that information to Malenia.

"I thought that would take hundreds of years! You're amazing, Raphael-san!" Rimuru praised his inner voice.

"Hey! Don't get all buddy-buddy with her! She's my best friend!" Malenia argued as Raphael sighed from suffering for being too popular before continuing with her theory.

"If Veldora is freed, that should be more than enough to keep the western nations in check." Raphael theorized.

"That's true. As a church, they can't afford to be careless." Rimuru agreed before jumping to another point to spring on Raphael. "Also, you do speak a lot more fluently now!" He sprung on her.

"No. It's your imagination." Raphael denied once more as Rimuru lost heart in the cause.

"Oh, forget it." Rimuru gave up on getting her to admit it as he moved on. "But I'm starting to see a way out of all these problems now." He thought to himself as he felt a bit better about their situation and bounced optimistically. "Okay! I think I can make it work!" He said as Ranga and Diablo especially were perplexed at Rimuru.

"Oh? Have you come up with a brilliant idea?" Diablo asked eagerly.

"I've decided to live up to the title of Demon Lord!" Rimuru said as Diablo was excited for his master.

"Kuhuhuhu! Splendid, Great Rimuru. I, Diablo, swear my loyalty to you for eternity." Diablo said as he lowered his head gracefully.

"Yes! On the subject of loyalty, I, Ranga, am also your loyal servant, Master!" Ranga said as he sat on his belly with as cute a howl he could make while Rimuru hopped on top of his head.

"I know, I know." Rimuru said while petting Ranga with a small slime hand, and Diablo watched with a envious and sad frown, wanting a head pat from his master as well. "Now that that's settledd....Ranga, I'm going out for a bit. Tell everyone to start preparing a banquet." Rimuru said as he bounced onto Ranga's back.

"Done!" Ranga said as he made this his first priority and Rimuru turned around to contact someone.

"Souei, you there?" Rimuru called as the aforementioned Kijin appeared in front of him with Souka by his side as they were down on one knee in honor.

"Right here." Souei responded in an instant.

"Get started--!" Rimuru was about to tell him what to do, but Souei was more than ahead of him.

"I will gather information on Clayman at once." Was all Souei said before he and Souka disappeared from their spot, amazing Rimuru.

"Wow. I didn't even have to give the order. Gotta love a man who's good at his job!" Rimuru said before hopping off of Ranga. "Okay, I'm heading out." He told his two loyal servants as teleportation magic activated underneath him and he was transported off some place else.

After teleporting away from the city and the others, Rimuru found himself deep within a cave as glowing rocks and crystals shined all around him. Taking a look around in his surroundings, he felt nostalgic about this place as it was the first place he met both you and Veldora when you and him were reincarnated in this world.

"This place brings back memories." Rimuru said as he remembered you three touching tips and forming a bond of kinship with one another. "It's been two years since then?" He realized how long it had been since he'd been in this place.

"Notice. Appraisal of Unlimited Imprisonment is complete." Raphael said as the time had finally come.

"I can finally fulfill my promise. I'll set you free now, Veldora." Rimuru thought with joy as he hopped up to transform into his humanoid form.

Once he changed into his humanoid form however, he noticed something had changed in its apperance. Upon closer examination of his form, he was in awe at the differences from his previous humanoid shape.

"Am I...taller?" Rimuru muttered in surprise as he was dressed in a white shirt that had sleeves that couldn't reach his wrist, black pants, and his signature blue shoes. "Raphael, make a double of me. Veldora can inhabit it." Rimuru asked of his inner voice.

"Activating Enhanced Body Double." Raphael obliged as magicules came out of Rimuru and clumped together to form a perfect body double in front of him.

"Huuuh?" Rimuru muttered as he leaned in closer for examination. "I really did mature a bit." He said as a blush of amazement spread across his cheeks. "If I do say so myself...I'm kind of...beautiful..." Rimuru said in amazement of his looks.

"Jeez, talk about humble..." Malenia said in his thoughts as Rimuru felt bashful about what he said and cleared his throat, though his pink hue remained on his face.

"Ahem! Okay, time to do this." Rimuru said with determination as he closed his eyes and focused on the important task at hand.

Focusing on his desire to release Veldora from his prison, a purple aura emitted from his body as a pair of purple wings made of magicules came out of his back and the magicules surged around his body. Within moments of releasing the power of Veldora, the Storm Dragon's soul exited Rimuru in his dragon form before condensing into an orb and entering the body of the double Rimuru made. A bright aura shined from the body double as Rimuru watched closely to see if this would succeed.

"Please work." Rimuru hoped as the light from the body double died down to a calmer dark aura.

"Notice. Soul corridor between Master and the individual named Veldora confirmed." Raphael informed as this was good news making Rimuru fist pump in excitement.

The body double closed its eyes as its form began to change and shift, becoming more muscular and masculine as the shirt was tearing and the hair changed from blue to blonde and short. The shirt reformed into a black cloak and revealed an unnaturally strong body build as the body double had been reformed to an image of that suited Veldora as the cloack wrapped around his shoulders and covered his neck and he wore white gloves over his hands. Once the change was complete, Veldora's eyes shot open with consciousness as his presence had returned and the first thing he felt in a long time was sheer excitement as he opened his mouth with a massive smile.

"Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!! I am the Storm Dragon, Veldora Tempest! I am fully revived!" Veldora proclaimed his return in a flamboyant voice as he flew into the air struck a powerful pose. "All who defy me will be slaughtered!!!!! Haaaaahahahaha!!! Haaaaaaaahahahahahahaha!!!!" He let out a hearty laugh as the Storm Dragon had returned in a bright display of power.

"Uh, old dude...how do you know that line?" Rimuru asked in confusion of how he knew such a famous line from his world as Veldora's bright shine dissipated.

"Grahahahaha!!" Veldora laughed as he began performing martial arts and other fighting moves in the air to get used to his body, but also try imitating some techniques he learned as well. "Well, I was bored, so I analyzed your memories and read all of that 'manga' stuff you had in there! Not only that..." He said while firing off finger gun blasts as Rimuru moved his head to dodge one before he leaped into the air and changed clothing before descending to the ground slowly in a traditional Japanese Yukata while holding out his arm with a Shogi piece made of light. "...but I play shogi at the master level now, too! No, since I'm the Storm Dragon, I've reached the Ryuo level!" He proclaimed his own level of professionalism while holding his hand in the air proudly.

"I see. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed life in my stomach so much." Rimuru said as Veldora changed back into his original clothes and turned away from Rimuru in a sad manner. "Huh?" Rimuru hummed in confusion as Veldora gave him a sad glance.

"I'm back after all this time, and you're being so cold." Veldora said with a pout as Rimuru was awkwardly amazed at his demeanor. "That went a lot more quickly than I expected, though! I thank you, Rimuru Tempest! My BFF!" Veldora walked over and pushed out his fist for a fist-bump, making the slime chuckle in humor.

"Aha! Did you really just say 'BFF'? That's so old." Rimuru said as he bumped fists with Veldora, but something didn't feel right with the Storm Dragon.

"Huh? Where's Y/N? I figured he'd be here..." Veldora said as he looked around for you.

"Oh, a lot of things happened and he's not awake right now. We don't know when he'll wake up. Malenia said that he was absorbing energy from the planet and that he would--NGH!" Rimuru groaned in shock when Veldora suddenly grabbed him by the shoulders and came really close to his face.

"You talked with my Master?! How?! When?! Why?!" Veldora said in shock as Rimuru was startled by Veldora's behavior.

"Huh? Well, it's a long story but, when Y/N was in an egg turning into an adult, something forced her into my soul and she's been with me since..." Rimuru explained as Veldora squished his face and began looking into his eyes.

"She's in you right now?! Master?! Do you hear me?! I can't see you!" Veldora exclaimed as he tried looking through Rimuru's eyes to see if he could find her inside his BFF.

"Goodness, this brat hasn't changed..." Malenia thought in exasperation before establishing a connection since Veldora was pressing his forehead against Rimuru's. "Hey, Veldora. It's been a while." She greeted him as Veldora was shocked and gasped.

"Master!!! It's me, Veldora!! I'm still alive! Can you hear me!?" Veldora yelled right in Rimuru's face, causing the slime to become disoriented as there were spirals in his eyes.

"I CAN HEAR YOU CLEARLY! YOU'RE TOO DAMN LOUD, DAMN IT!" Malenia scolded him as the Storm Dragon flinched in response. "Jeez, all these years to settle down and you're still this crazy? Well, I can't say I didn't expect it. You were always like that since you were a hatchling." She said in annoyance.

"Rimuru! Do you think you could make a body for her, also?" Veldora asked as Rimuru was confused.

"Huh? I don't know, I think it's a bit different from your case..." Rimuru said as he turned to his inner voice. "What about it, Raphael?" He asked her as Malenia sighed.

"Hahhh...Don't even try. Remember, I'm only a shadow of Malenia. There's no way for me to come back to the world of the livi--?" Malenia was cut off when Raphael interrupted her.

"Yes. Soul corridor between Master and the individual Malenia is possible." Raphael said.

"Huh?" Malenia was surprised.

"Would you like to execute?" Raphael asked.

"Huuh?" Malenia said in confusion.

"Yeah! Make a body double for her to inhabit!" Rimuru said as more magicules exited from his body and he closed his eyes to repeat the process while Veldora watched like an excited teenage girl.

"Huh? Wait! Are you--A-AHHHHHH!!!!" Malenia's voice soon faded from Rimuru's thoughts as she was seemingly sucked away.

Magicules that formed into dorsal plates and a tail that were colored blue protruded from Rimuru's body before Malenia's shadow/consciousness exited his body in its Gojira form. Malenia looked shocked and perplexed before her magicule Gojira form condensed into a ball of light that entered the body double, and the new body began changing. The body double began morphing into a more feminine state as the chest grew out exponentially and the limbs and stomach area became slimmer, while the thigh area expanded a bit. The hair turned black with blue highlights at the ends as dorsal plates and a long tail formed on the back and her buttocks also grew in volume. Within moments, a black leotard covered her body and a pair of black short-shorts formed to cover her lower parts. Long black boots that reached up to her mid-thighs formed and black fingertip less gloves formed on her hands that had sharp nails, and a crop-top black jacket with its sleeves ending halfway down her arm covered her. Malenia in her new body opened her eyes as they flashed blue with power.

"Notice. Soul corridor between Master and the individual named Malenia confirmed." Rimuru said as blue power irradiated and shined from Malenia before it was all absorbed back into her.

"It worked!" Rimuru said in amazement as Malenia stared down at her body in disbelief and shock.

"Welcome back, Master!" Veldora rushed over to hug his previously deceased Master, but was met with a foot crashing into his face.

"Don't just decide things for people on your own..." Malenia spoke as she shot open her eyes that glowed blue with power and revealed her sharp teeth behind her lips as she glared at Veldora. "...YOU IDIOT OF A STUDENT!!!!" She yelled as Veldora screamed as he was sent flying into the cave wall, creating a huge crash as Rimuru was shocked with his jaw almost dropping to the floor. 

"T-That's definitely...her..." Veldora stuttered as he was buried in rubble with his feet sticking out and twitching, and after kicking his face in, Malenia snapped her head to Rimuru, making him flinch in fear.

"I-I was just thinking that maybe Y-Y/N would like it if you were actually around to spend with him! You are his mother! I thought it would be nice! Ahahaha! Ha-HYA!" He yelped in a high pitch when Malenia walked over and firmly grabbed Rimuru's shoulders.

"Rimuru, you brat..." Malenia's voice was terrifying and fierce as Rimuru was sweating profusely in fear, but was shocked when he was pulled into a hug. "...Thank you." She said with sincerity as a tear escaped one of her eyes.

"Huh? You're not mad?" Rimuru asked as Malenia pulled away and smiled at him. 

"You've given me a chance to be with the child I gave all my life to. I don't think any mother would be upset at that if they were given the chance." Malenia said as Rimuru smiled and nodded at her, but something confused her. "That said, why do I feel like I'm back in my prime age of power?" She asked.

"Answer. In order to ensure success of the transfer, additional magicules were taken from you to make up for her lack of magicules. The percentage lost totals to 25% of your total amount." Raphael revealed as Rimuru was surprised.

"Really? This boost in my amount is really something. I don't feel all that tired." Rimuru said as he felt a hint of laziness coming over him, but he wasn't sure if that was exhaustion, or just himself and his own desires to lounge around.

"Thank you, Rimuru. Now I can be there when Y/N wakes back up." Malenia said with joy as Veldora joined her at her side and the two shared an excited smile with one another.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Did you not get my gift?" Rimuru asked Veldora as bright shine beamed from his eyes with excitement.

"I'M GLAD YOU ASKED!!" Veldora yelled in excitement as Rimuru and Malenia looked at him awkwardly due to his behavior. "Thanks to you, my unique skill, Inquirer, evolved into the ultimate skill, Faust! It is the power to reach the ultimate truth..." Veldora exclaimed as he went on a whole tangent explaining the skill which was VERY long, while Malenia turned to Rimuru to tell him something.

"Actually, it seems like I also got a gift from you, too." Malenia said as Rimuru seemed surprised. "My unique skill, Defender, evolved into ultimate skill, Indomitable. In a battle of either mind or body, I cannot be beat." Malenia explained her skill much quicker as Veldora was still going on his tangent.

"Oh? That's neat." Rimuru said as Malenia nodded. "Ah, that makes sense. My Great Sage evolved into Raphael, too." He thought as the one who was mentioned thought she should chime in.

"Yes. That is not all. Analyzing the remains of Veldora and Y/N, has given you the ultimate skills 'Veldora' and 'Gojira'. In addition, using the unique skill 'Unlimited Imprisonment' as a basis to consolidate all of your abilities, you have successfully acquired the ultimate skill 'Uriel'. " Raphael revealed as she displayed the five ultimate skills that were at Rimuru's disposal.

"Wait, that means I have five ultimate skills now!" Rimuru thought in shock.

"It does mean that." Raphael said as Rimuru had a nervous smile on his face.

"Oh? Why the face? Did Raphael say something to you?" Malenia asked in wonder.

"Oh, it's nothing..." Rimuru said as he decided to keep those skills under wrap before gasping in shock as Veldora aggressively and playfully wrapped an arm around Rimuru's neck.

"Hehe! And that means you, Master, and I are invincible now! Just relax and go with it!" Veldora exclaimed.

"R-Right..." Rimuru said awkwardly as Veldora let out another hearty laugh before growing confused when Malenia removed his arm from Rimuru.

"Hey, Veldora. Stop handling Rimuru like some toy of yours. You'll break him." Malenia said as she gently placed Rimuru's face in her bosom, making Rimuru explode into a red bashful blush. "Well, now. Since we're up and around, why don't get out of this place? I'd like some fresh air." Malenia suggested as the other two agreed to that notion.

Deciding that it was time to leave the cave, Rimuru used teleportation magic to bring them to the main entrance of the cave as they appeared in front of the massive dungeon door to see it was nearing the end of sunset. Malenia and Veldora stepped forward as they took a good look at the world they hadn't seen in so many centuries.

"My first time seeing the outside world in centuries..." Veldora trailed off as he stretched out his arms and took a nice deep breath of air. "The air tastes so sweet!" He exclaimed.

"Mmmm! The warmth from the sun feels good on my skin, also. It's been too long since I had a nice sun bathe, but since it's getting dark, that'll have to wait for tomorrow." Malenia said as she stretched out her right arm over her head while yawning.

"Look, do you two think you can tone down those enormous auras? You're gonna scare everyone in town." Rimuru suggested to them as they agreed.

"Easy enough." Malenia said while cracking her neck.

"Very well. I shall try." Veldora said as Rimuru wanted to visualize it form them.

"Think of it as storing it inside." Rimuru gestured with his hands to condense their auras as they nodded.

"Yes, I get it! You mean like that!" Veldora said in reference to something Rimuru didn't know he was getting at.

"Like 'that'?" Rimuru said in confusion.

"Oh, I see. I know what you're talking about!" Malenia said as Rimuru raised a brow at her.

Without any warning of sorts, both Malenia and Veldora let out powerful roars as they clenched their fists, flexed their muscles, and released a high volume of power as Veldora glowed bright yellow, and Malenia shined bright blue. Rimuru had a bewildered smile on his face as he couldn't believe what they were doing.

"No, that's just putting out even more aura!" Rimuru thought as there was no stopping them now.

Malenia and Veldora continued to roar as the lights from their auras shaped into their respective beast forms before they shrunk down in size before beginning to become condensed as their auras still shined around them.

"How's this?!" Veldora asked confidently.

"Hey, not bad! Your aura's a lot smaller now." Rimuru said with an impressed smile as their auras had been condensed to a reasonable size after that brief display as the lights surrounding them dissipated.

"Kuahahahahaha! Thank the wisdom of the sacred texts that contain all knowledge of the world!" Veldora let out a tooth laugh.

"Oh? We should exchange what we know. I've read almost all the sacred texts that were in Y/N's mind also." Malenia said as the two of them firmly clasped their hands in agreement with an understand nod to one another.

"They just tried something they read in a manga, didn't they?" Rimuru thought as he was nervous about what was to come from this duo.

After getting them to suppress their massive auras in order to not startle your citizens, Rimuru lead Veldora and Malenia back to Tempest as the trio entered the city and began heading back to the plaza where the banquet was going to be. Though, something seemed off since all the citizens and workers who were present at the location, were all gathered together in the center of the plaza with confused, concerned, and strange looks. The three of them walked up to the huge crowd where everyone was waiting as Rimuru was the one to speak up for them.

"Hey, everyone. Sorry I'm late." Rimuru called out as everyone reacted joyfully when they heard his voice.

"Great Rimuru! You're all right! We were so worried!" Rigurd exclaimed with joy as he and Rigur ran up to him while Malenia and Veldora stood behind Rimuru. "We suddenly sensed signs of the return of the Storm Dragon, Veldora and the God that passed before we could learn more about her..." Rigurd was explaining as everyone else walked over to listen, and Rimuru raised his hand to stop him short.

"I'm gonna explain that right now. But first, let me introduce you all." Rimuru said while gesturing to Malenia and Veldora, but was confused when he saw them huff out nervous breaths from their noses as shy blushes appeared on their cheeks and they were making sure they looked presentable, provoking a nudge from Rimuru as they straightened up. "This is Veldora-kun and Malenia-chan! They're a tad shy around new people, but try to make friends with them!" Rimuru introduced the pair as they were shocked by what Rimuru said about them while everyone stood in silence and confusion, but Diablo smiled a little as he got the gist of what was going on. "Huh?" Rimuru said in wonder of everyone's silence.

"Wait! I'm not shy around new people at all!" Veldora complained to Rimuru.

"Yeah! I was a people person believe it or not back in my day!" Malenia whined to the slime leader.

"It's just that not many people ever actually reached us alive!" Veldora explained as Malenia nodded in agreement, but a strange light appeared as everyone turned to see the Dryad, Treyni, appear in between them all.

"Treyni-san!" Rimuru said in surprise of her apperance as Treyni knelt down before Veldora and Malenia.

"Our guardians, Lord Veldora and Queen Malenia, I congratulate you on your returns from the bottom of my heart." Treyni said to the both of them.

"Oh, the Dryads, right? I remember them. Thanks for taking care of my Forest of Jura!" Veldora exclaimed with a toothy grin.

"I am unworthy of such praise. Such a task is in no way enough to repay you for taking in my sisters and me when we were separated from the Queen of Spirits." Treyni said with gratitude.

"Don't worry about that! Kuuuaaaaahhhhhahahahahahaha! Hahahahaha-OWW!" Veldora's heart laugh was interrupted when Malenia suddenly smacked him on the back of his head with her tail. "What was that for, Master?!" He asked in confusion while rubbing his head.

"You just remember the Dryads? Jeez, at least remember their names, you idiot student of mine." Malenia said as she walked over to Treyni and extended her hand out, allowing Treyni to take hold of it as Malenia pulled her to her feet. "It's so nice to see you again, Treyni. If you need anything, just come see me, okay?" Malenia said as she reminisced speaking with an old friend.

"Of course, Queen." Treyni said with glee.

"Jeez, stop with that 'Queen' stuff. Remember? I said to talk to me like one of your friends all those centuries ago." Malenia said as the pair shared a cute laugh with one another.

Meanwhile, from hearing the familiar laughter and hearing that Malenia was a 'Queen' of sorts, all your citizens that had been living in the Forest of Jura before you and Rimuru reincarnated, looked to one another in disbelief before realizing who they were stood in front of. Not wasting another second, every single monster in your nation dropped to one knee with their heads lowered in honor as they all shouted in unison.

"OUR LORDS!!" They all cried out as those who weren't monsters like Kaval's party and Youm's party were in shock.

"Wait, is that the real Storm Dragon?!" Eren pointed in disbelief and utter shock.

"You gotta be kidding me." Youm said as he couldn't believe another crazy monster appeared in this nation.

"By the way, since I guess you all revered me as well before I died, I'm not just some dragon. I'm a Gojira. The same as Y/N." Malenia explained to them.

"HUH?!?!?!" They all screamed in shock.

"Keep looking out for Rimuru and Y/N for us. You'll be looking out for me and Master now, as well." Veldora said to Treyni.

"Hey! what do you mean by that?" Rimuru scolded Veldora.

"That's right, Veldora. They're not your servants that you can just boss around like that." Malenia said while delivering a little chop to his head, though Treyni and anyone else would never disobey or not do an order that came from either of them.

"U-Um..." Rigurd spoke up as the three insane monsters looked over to him.

"Yes?" Veldora asked.

"Lord Veldora, Q-Queen Malenia, just what is your relationship with Great Rimuru?" Rigurd asked a question that was on everyone's mind.

"Ehehehe. You wanna know?" Veldora asked with a smug grin.

"Y-Yes, please!" Rigurd begged to hear.

"Very well." Veldora said with a grin before he and Malenia sandwiched Rimuru in between them and threw up their index fingers with pride. " This goes for Y/N and Rimuru! They are my bosom buddies! My other halves! My sworn friends!" Veldora proclaimed to all.

"Rimuru is my other son! My child I didn't know I needed! My cute little slime-chan!" Malenia shouted for all to hear as she had a blue glint in her eye while Veldora had a gold glint in his, leaving Rimuru with an embarrassed blush on his face.

"Please stop! You're embarrassing me!" Rimuru thought in embarrassment as he was struggling to keep it together and not hide in bashfulness.

"Q-Q-Queen Malenia!" Rigur stood up as Malena turned towards him.

"What is it, boy?" Malenia asked as she was ready to answer any question.

"You said you were a Gojira like Y/N. Does that mean...?" Rigur trailed off as Malenia smiled and struck a cute pose.

"Yes. I am that boys mother~" Malenia said with a cute wink.

The entire crowd erupted into cheers, especially the men thanks to Malenia's wink as she instantly won them over not only because she was an almighty being, but because she was extremely beautiful. The entire crowd was in disbelief as they had their rulers and protectors suddenly returned to them.

"What?! You're friends with not just Lady Milim, but Lord Veldora and Queen Malenia, as well?!" Rigurd said in disbelief and awe.

"I knew Great Rimuru and Great Y/N were amazing from the very start!" Gobta yelled as he jumped around in excitement.

"At this point, anything goes." Youm said as he was done being surprised or shocked by anything that involved you or Rimuru.

"One should expect no less of my masters!" Ranga revered yours and Rimuru's names.

"Precisely. Kuhuhuhu..." Diablo chuckled as he was well aware of how amazing you two were.

"Incidentally, why have you taken these forms?" Treyni asked in wonder as Veldora was excited about this question and tossed Rimuru off to the side so he could flex his new body.

"Rimuru had this body prepared for me! Well?! I look awesome, right?!" Veldora said while flexing his muscles flamboyantly.

"Yes, you look wonderful." Treyni complimented him.

"Don't I? Don't I?!" Veldora exclaimed as he burst out into another hearty laugh.

"I understand now! You and Great Y/N appeared before us just after Lord Veldora vanished!" Rigurd said as he finally realized the coincidence.

"We were keeping it a secret. We thought it would take over 100 years to free Veldora, and if this had gotten out, there's no telling who would've come after me. Y/N was very adamant about it to me, especially before my first trip of Engrassia." Rimuru said as he remembered you scolding him about not letting this secret slip out.

"True." Benimaru said as they continued to watch Veldora and Malenia be happy as your mother slapped Veldora on the head for laughing too long and getting annoying, garnering laughs from the crowd.

"Queen Malenia!" Your mother heard someone call out to her as she turned to see Mai walk up to her.

"Oh, the little moth that's always around my son. Well, not that I can say you're little anymore..." Malenia said suggestively while staring at Mai's bountiful breasts, making the moth girl blush profusely.

"U-U-Uh...Anyway, I just wanted to ask if you could join me for a drink and tell me some of the things you like. If I know what you like, then maybe I could figure out what other things Lord Y/N likes--HIIEE!" Mai yelped when Malenia suddenly walked over and gently grabbed her by the chin with a suggestive look. 

"Hm? Trying to get on my good side to score a chance with my boy? I like your boldness~" Malenia said as she licked her lips while everyone watched in awe as the moth girl was extremely nervous. "Another thing I like is eating up cute little girls like you, so maybe my son and I have something in common in that department~ Well? Why don't we spend a night together? I can teach you things that might get my son to fall for you~ I'll teach you a lot of things too~" She said as Gobta and the other men had nosebleeds from what they were seeing as steam exploded out of Mai's head and she melted to the ground in bashfulness and shock.

"Master! What have I told you about doing things like this?! This always happened back in the past when you stumbled upon cute humans when you took a human form!" Veldora said as Malenia laughed heartily.

"Don't worry! I'd never go after a woman that my son is possibly gonna settle down with! I was just having fun since it's been a while." Malenia said cheekily as everyone was in awe of her attitude.

"Great Rimuru!" Rimuru heard as he turned to see Shuna rush over to him with an excited smile. "The preparations for the feast are complete." Shuna said while gesturing to the plaza.

"Okay." Rimuru said as he decided it was time to start the banquet.

After making sure everyone was handed a nice large mug of liquor or whatever beverage they wanted, with most of the adults having liquor, Rimuru stepped up to the podium that he was previously asleep on for three days. Turning around to everyone, he found everyone's attention was on him as he firmly held his mug in one hand and decided to say a few words for the night.

"First, I wanna start off with Y/N. I know it's worrying that he hasn't woken up to join us for a night like tonight, but I know he'd want us to celebrate over the success of everything we've done, and becoming a whole family again. To Y/N!" Rimuru put his cup up in the air as everyone followed suit.

"To Great Y/N!" Everyone chanted with all their hopes and wishes that you would wake up, unaware that your tail twitched a little and the red pulse of your dorsal plates stopped and remained glowing red.

"Everyone, we've ben through some pretty tough times, but for today, you can eat, drink, and forget about it all! Let's just be glad we're all still alive!" Rimuru yelled as this sparked joy with everyone as the crowd erupted in joyful cheers while throwing up their drinks in excitement.

"That's right. Tonight is a night that should be celebrated with a bountiful feast and festivities. I couldn't thank you all anymore for being such incredible, loyal subjects." A voice echoed through the area as all the cheering stopped and they looked around in confusion, and in that moment, Veldora and Malenia dropped their drinks and looked on edge like they were anticipating an attack. "Don't be so hostile, Storm Dragon and Gojira, we should be joyous over the feats that we've accomplished...Including my rebirth." The voice spoke ominously.

"Rebirth?" Rimuru said in wonder before there was a strange noise behind him.

Turning around in confusion, Rimuru and everyone were met with a powerful shockwave that pushed them back and made them stumble as high winds blew through the area, and Rimuru was shocked when he turned to see something was happening with you. A bright red pillar of light shot into the air from your dorsal plates and cast a red hue over everything as the lighting of the environment turned a hostile red color, and your body began glowing brightly, forcing a lot of the crowd to cover their eyes. Rimuru could barely see as he noticed your body was shrinking down and down until it disappeared into the pillar of red light. 

"I've longed for this moment for too much time. Now it's finally mine." They heard a voice coming from the pillar as the pillar of light began to get absorbed and condensed down into a ball of red magicules as the winds stopped.

"W-What happened? Where did Y/N go?!" Rimuru said in shock as he, Veldora, and Malenia ran around the center pieces of the plaza and rushed over to the area where the ball of light was.

"My Lord!" Mai yelled in fear as she and everyone else who could fight if necessary gave chase.

Before any of them could reach the sphere of light, it surged with magicules before suddenly exploding, sending a shockwave through the area that knocked everyone down except for Rimuru, Veldora and Malenia. The three of them ran to stand in front of everyone as they stared at the smoke cloud in front of them and made out the appearance of someone standing in the rubble. When the smoke cleared, it revealed a humanoid monster that had a well-toned body build, short black hair with glowing red highlights, and a fair skin tone. Red sparks of energy popped every so often around this individuals body as a red aura emitted around them. They raised their right hand up that had sharped claws and the fingers were covered in scales. He began to open and close it in a fist repeatedly to get a feel of their body, and the smoke cleared to reveal more of the humanoid. A tail line with dorsal plates swung around behind the monsters as its dorsal plates ran all the way up their back and glowed with an ominous red hue. They wore no shirt and had only black pants on while their feet weren't humanoid, but reptile like with sharp clawed-toes. Everyone stood in suspense as the dorsal plates on the back of this monster began flashing and surging red with immense power as their eyes opened with a red glow.

"Is that you, Y/N?" Malenia asked as the person began chuckling. "No..." She growled as Rimuru looked at her in shock as her eyes glowed blue. "Who are you?!" She screamed as everyone looked to the person in confusion who just smiled softly at her.

"What? You can't recognize your own son? Well, this is his body, but not his soul, so I guess I can't blame you." The man said as he showed a bit of his fangs behind his lips with a grin as Malenia clenched her fists tightly in anger.

"I'm sorry, Rimuru...This party might have to be held off for a little while." Malenia said as she walked up and stopped about a meter away from this imposter. 

"Ho? I don't believe there's a need to stop this celebration, after all, it's important to celebrate when your king returns. However, since you're feeling all fired up, mother..." The one in control of your body trailed off as his dorsal plates began flashing violently and a red glow began shining in his mouth as they smiled. "...I'll play along with you until you're satisfied." He said as what was supposed to be a night of celebration after having a reunion with their former gods of the forest, turned into a night of fear and terror as your alter ego took control of your body, and wanted to claim this nation of monsters for himself, starting with making Queen Malenia submit as his first loyal subject.
