Chapter 12: The End and Beginning of Things

A/N: Hey guys, it's been a while, I think I'm a little late on the update for this chapter. To make up for it, I wrote an extra long one for you guys, over 10k words was definitely a tough one to bust out, but I don't feel too tired from working on this. After this chapter, I will take some time off this book to work on another story of mine. If you wanna go check that out, it's my gundam book called 'The Curse of Gundams (Gundam: Witch From Mercury x Male Reader)'. One of my stories that I feel pretty good about writing. I'll be updating three chapters on that story before I switch back over to this one, this system of writing helps keep me feeling fresh when writing these books, and with these stories that I am very fond of, I think I can write for a while. Hope you guys enjoy, take care!

"HHHHHHRRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Geld let out a powerful battle cry that made the air vibrate and the ground quake below everyone. "I am the Orc Disaster! I am the one who will devour all in this world!" He screamed to all who could hear throughout the area as he turned towards you two. "My name is Geld...Geld the Demon Lord!" He yelled in fury as his power drastically increased.

"Let's finish this before he can do anything too serious to us!" You yelled as you all prepared for the attack.

"Shion!" Benimaru called for her as Shion dashed ahead with her great sword.

"Right! On it!" Shion responded as she was the first to charge into combat against the Demon Lord Geld.

"Benimaru?" You turned towards him in confusion of their interference as he looked towards you two.

"Let us handle this." Benimaru said as you turned back towards Shion and Geld with some concern.

"You call yourself a Demon Lord?! Curb your ego, you foul pig!" Shion yelled as she leaped into the to cleave Geld in two, but was met with resistance as their blades clashed and the earth around them shook.

Shion tried her best to push through his defenses, but it wasn't enough as he deflected her attack away and swiped his blade towards her, making her defend as she was sent sliding on knee across the marsh. Not discouraged at all from the first failed attack, Shion charged back towards Geld at max speed as the Demon Lord raised his blade to slice her down the middle, but was interrupted when he felt a presence to his left. Appearing in an instant mid-air, Hakurou had dove down and delivered a perfect slice through Geld's neck, completely severing the Orc Disaster's head from his body. You and Rimuru were surprised at first, but shock replaced that hopeful surprise as you watched Geld hold his own head while turning toward a confused Hakurou who stood behind him.

"He's not dead even with his head cut off!?" You said in shock as you all watched strange tendrils crawl out of Geld's neck to retrieve his head and moments later, he was fully healed as if nothing happened, shocking the elder Kijin.

"That's some insane healing power." Rimuru couldn't help but comment on how incredibly durable this Demon Lord was as Geld took notice of Soei behind him.

"Arcane Thread Fetters." In an instant, Geld was wrapped up in Soei's extremely sharp webs before being encased in a giant cocoon as he held the threads tight at his finger tips. "Do it, Benimaru!" Soei called out as he set up his ally for a powerful attack.

"Have some of this!" Benimaru yelled as he threw his hand forward and shot out a Hell Flare that engulfed the cocoon and began to burn Geld in a smoldering ball of black flame.

Hearing a howl come from behind you, Ranga began to charge up his attack as well and once the flames burned away the threads that surrounded Geld, a massive strike of Black Lightning struck down upon Geld, causing a huge explosion that sent dust everywhere. Hearing tired growls coming from the Tempest Starwolf from behind him, Rimuru turned around to Ranga who seemed spent from his attacks.

"Out of magicules?" Rimuru asked him.

"I'm so sorry!" Ranga apologized for reaching his limit in this battle.

"Just hang out in my shadow." Rimuru told Ranga as you turned around to the wolf.

"Good job, Ranga. We'll handle the rest." You said to him.

"Thank you, masters." Ranga said before diving into Rimuru's shadow to rest as you two turned back to see the aftermath of those chain attacks.

"Now then, just how much of that was effective..." You muttered as you watched the dust eerily clear from the spot Geld stood on, and once the dust cleared...

"What is..." Benimaru was left speechless for a moment as the Kijin were all shocked to see that Geld was still alive and pushing himself to his feet with seemingly no reaction to the attacks as his healing kicked in.

"No way..." Rimuru couldn't believe just how durable this Demon Lord was.

"Even after all those devastating attacks, it's not enough to take down a Demon Lord?" You said with a worrying growl in your throat as Geld looked at his singed wounds that were healing.

"So this...is pain?" Geld spoke as if this was the first time he was feeling pain at all.

"You're kidding me." Rimuru said as you watched one of Geld's subordinates walk up and kneel before their Demon Lord.

"My king, I offer my body to you." The Orc soldier said as Geld simply grumbled with acceptance before cannibalizing his own underling, tearing away and swallowing the Orc's flesh as you all watched that poisonous looking aura emit from his body once again and his wounds fully healed.

"Self-regeneration and healing magic?" Rimuru concerned note of his abilities.

"Has he become immortal?" You said with worry as Geld raised his head once more.

"Not enough! I need more! Give me more food!" Geld yelled as he threw his arm forward and unleashed a surprising attack.

From his hand, you were shocked when Geld unleashed the same Deathmarch Dance attack that Gelmud had previously displayed, showing that he had absorbed all of the Demon's powers. The barrage of magic flew towards the Kijin who weren't prepared for the attack when it was cast, but once again the attack was nullified by Rimuru who had appeared to absorb it once again. While he took on the defensive role of protecting your allies, you had charged towards Geld and body slammed against him, sending stumbling back some steps away to gain some distance as you retreated back to your partner.

"My lords..." Benimaru spoke with a hint of concern as Rimuru mounted himself on top of you as you walked forward.

"Don't worry. We've got this." Rimuru said as you left with him to take charge of the battle as you saw Geld ready one of his skills, Chaos Eater, as four dark magicule serpent heads emerged from Geld's back. "Y/N, you know what to do, right?" He asked as you nodded to him.

"Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what she can do." You said with a small smirk on your face as he chuckled as well.

"It's a bit cowardly, though..." Rimuru said as he closed his eyes and readied himself. "You're up, Great Sage!" He thought as he swiped his hand across the air with a confident look. "I'm counting on you! Defeat our enemy at once!" Rimuru called out as Great Sage took over from there.

"Understood. Switching to auto-battle mode." Great Sage responded as she took over Rimuru's bodily controls and prepared for battle as Rimuru's eyes glowed red and changed.

"Let's do this, Great Sage. Don't give me a disappointing show!" You yelled as you clenched your leg muscles and readied for a charge.

"Understood." Great Sage responded in a feminine, robotic tone through Rimuru's mouth.

"Devour all! Chaos Eater!" Geld cried out as the four serpent heads from his back launched themselves forward towards you two.

"Go, partner"! You yelled as you leaped high into the air and launched Great Sage high above Geld.

After pushing yourself off the ground, you landed with a large crash that sent a rippling shockwave through the ground that raced towards Geld. Two serpent heads wrapped around from behind you as they dove in to chomp down on your flesh, but with a brief flash of light from your back, you turned around and blasted them away with a quick shot of Atomic Breath. The fiery breath incinerated the two dark serpent heads as they turned into ash and the shockwave from your landing cracked the ground underneath Geld, making his foot slip into the ground and causing him to lose balance for a moment. Meanwhile in the air, Great Sage showed impeccable versatility and acrobatics as she dodged the other two serpent heads mid-air before unsheathing the blade at her back and slicing Geld's hand that was raised in the air from losing balance, and sent the limb flying as black flames engulfed Geld's dismember arm and Great Sage's sword. Doing a few backflips, Great Sage leaped into the air and landed on your back as your spines flashed a few times and you were ready for another attack as the synergy between you two was beginning to improve.

"Nice moves, Great Sage. You're better than I anticipated." You complimented her on her fighting capabilities.

"Notice. Let us take this opportunity to strike while he is at the disadvantage." Great Sage said as you turned back to Geld.

"Yeah, let him have it!" You said as you charged forward at great speeds towards Geld.

Jumping up to give Great Sage the correct height to strike from, Great Sage raised her blade that was engulfed in dark flames and tried to cut Geld down the middle, but the Demon Lord was able to raise his blade and block the incoming strike. Though the intensity of the flames proved more powerful than he anticipated as the heat and blue fire exploded across his steel weapon.

"Impossible! Grngh!" Geld groaned as you slipped in a tail strike across his stomach as released his weapon that was engulfed by the flames and staggered back as you landed with grace as Great Sage rode atop of you with ease as Geld's blade melted into liquid as it burned next to you two.

Geld seemed uneased by the attack power you two were putting him against, and in that moment of pause in the battle, he notice that the stump where his left hand used to be, was still burning from the strike he received from Great Sage. Seeing that his healing abilities were not kicking in, Geld grabbed hold of the part of his arm that was burning and ripped the burning piece off.

"My Lord!" One of Geld's underlings, his closest aid, yelled in worry as a strong gust of wind emerged from the Demon Lord unleashing more power.

You and Great Sage watched as Geld was engulfed a pillar of green light and his power was charging up, and in the process his left arm had regenerated fully and once he was finished healing, threw his hands to the sides with another Deathmarch Dance charging in both hands.

"This time, I will eat you two!" Geld yelled out as he threw out the first two attacks, followed by another two volleys of the same attack.

Great Sage put her blade away as she held out her arm in front of you two and absorbed the first wave of the attack, and after that she raised her other arm behind you two as she absorbed the incoming barrage from behind. In that instant, Geld got the better of you two as he appeared next to you both at incredible speeds as he grabbed Great Sage in one hand while pinning you to the ground with his other hand.

"Nghahahaha! I'm going to devour you both right now! Staring with you!" Geld laughed in victory as he raised Great Sage to his mouth.

Just as he said that, Great Sage began to utilize other sources of attack as her eyes glowed a fiery red color as she tapped into Ifrit's power. Below the three of you, a blazing magic circle formed before a geyser of burning hot flames engulfed you and Geld while Great Sage was held outside the flames in Geld's hand. You were managing fine and actually held onto his hand to make sure he didn't get away as Geld yelled out in seeming pain as his silhouette was the only thing visible in the flames.

"Flare Circle! This'll do it!" Rimuru used Thought Communication with you as he watched from the inside of his own body and he was sure this wound end the battle.

"Operation complete." Great Sage announced to the both of you.

"Way to go you two! That went perfectly! But..." Rimuru suddenly added a word you two weren't expecting as even Great Sage was shocked by what was happening.

"UUUUUWWWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Geld's screams of pain had suddenly been revealed to be a cry of laughter as the flames had gone out and revealed he was perfectly fine and resistant to fire.

"Are you serious? That was an attack from the fire spirit, Ifrit..." You said before grunting as Geld pushed you down harder into the ground.

"An emergency has arisen." Great Sage announced.

"Of course...He has fire resistance now. I figured as much." Rimuru thought as you looked to your partner.

"What's the plan now?" You communicated with Great Sage and Rimuru.

"Immediately recalculating--!" Great Sage was about to come up with a counter attack, but was cut off.

"I'll take over, Great Sage." Rimuru said to his inner voice as she was surprised by this choice and her calculations were stopped midway due to unknown feelings popping up in her processes. "Don't feel bad. I think I've figured out how to defeat him, thanks to you. So just leave the rest to me, partner." Rimuru reassured his inner voice as her consciousness returned to her previous state, and the two of them swapped places once again as Rimuru's eyes returned to normal.

"Hey, if ya don't mind me sayin' somethin'..." Malenia's voice popped up in between the three of your thoughts as she was swinging her legs around in your mind while propping herself up on her own tail.

"W-What is it, mother?" You asked her in wonder.

"Why'd you hold back on yer' Atomic Breath?" Malenia asked you as you grew nervous. "Ya know you could do some serious damage to this guy. Your Atomic Breath's gotten a helluva lot stronger. Ya could probably blast this guy in one go. Why haven't ya?" She asked as Rimuru looked down at you in confusion as you avoided his gaze.

"T-That's because..." You trailed off nervously as Rimuru could only raise his brow at you while Malenia sighed.

"Jeez, my son's still holdin' back even in situations where he shouldn't." Malenia sighed in disappointment as she looked up toward the void above her. "Hey! Slimy boy! Ya hear me?!" She screamed out as Rimuru was now nervous from her rough attitude.

"Y-Yes, ma'am!" Rimuru responded to her with a yelp.

"This is what the two of ya are gonna do..." Malenia said as the two of you listened closely to what she had planned and before you knew it, the two of you were smirking in how crazy this plan sounded.

"I see..." You responded with a chuckle.

"Cool, right?" Malenia said as she was impressed with herself.

"Yeah, I'm up for it if you are, partner." You communicated to Rimuru as he smirked back at you.

"Let's do it." Rimuru responded as you two nodded at each other before looking at the Demon Lord who seemed amused by all this.

"Hmmm. It appears fire has no effect on me." Geld said in a boastful growl as he looked at Rimuru.

"Is that right? You might have been happier burning to death." Rimuru said as this confused the Orc Disaster. "We've acknowledged you as an enemy. Now we'll take you on for real." Rimuru said as this amused the Demon Lord.

"NGHAHAHAHAHAHA! Laughable! Does that mean you two weren't serious before now? There is nothing more you can do!" Geld said as poisonous fumes unleashed from both his hands as he prepared to eat you both. "Just accept that I'm going to eat you two!" Geld said before a bright blue light began to flash underneath him as he looked to see your spines glowing brightly. "W-What?" He said in confusion.

"Before you can eat us, I'm going to eat you. I'm a slime." Rimuru said as he turned into a liquid slime form and encased himself in Geld's hand for protection.

"Let me cook this pig up for you before you enjoy your meal, buddy. I know you like your pork EXTRA CRISPY!" You yelled as you opened your mouth a blinding flashes of light were blinding Geld.

"Benimaru! Retreat!" Rimuru communicated his order to the leader of the Kijin as Benimaru took notice of what was about to happen.

"EVERYONE FALL BACK! TAKE COVER!" Benimaru yelled as all your forces ran as fast as they could.

A few moments after they retreated, lightning began to strike around Geld and from your mouth, and Geld's flesh began to sear and burn with smoke coming off from the hottest points on him. Geld yelled out in pain as the lightning from above struck him, and this lightning was different from before as it felt more pure and unhinged compared to Ranga's Death Storm. Geld tried to let you go, but your tail wrapped around his arm and you held him close as the light in your mouth grew brighter and bright before flashing three more times. After the third flash, your Atomic Breath fired and a blinding pillar of light erupted into the sky above as the area around you three was blown away completely. Everyone held on for their lives as the blast unleashed a unbelievably powerful shockwave and the light from the blast forced everyone to cover their eyes. After a few moments had passed, the giant pillar of Atomic light began to shrink before dissipating completely as all that was left was a huge cloud of smoke. Benimaru and the others managed to get themselves to their feet as all participants on the battlefield were left speechless from what they had witnessed, and in front of them was a massive crater that water from the marsh was slowly flooding into. Benimaru was the first to peer over the edge and into the crater as he tried to see what had happened, and once enough of the smoke had cleared, Benimaru was shocked when he saw Geld was now only his upper torso, with his left arm gone and the right side of his head was completely eradicated as well. In front of the decimated Geld, you and Rimuru who was in his slime form as he sat on your head, stared down at Geld as his body began to regenerate once again, but at such a slow rate.

"This is...a Gojira's power?" Benimaru said in disbelief of what he had witness now in his life.

"Can you hear us, Geld?" You asked as you got no reply from him as it seemed all his energy was going into regenerating his body. "Even at about sixty percent of its strength, it was enough to do that...I should have held back a bit more..." You said as you felt bad for putting Geld through that.

"There wasn't much of a choice left...All that's left to do now is..." Rimuru trailed off as he bounced off your head and was sat in front of Geld.

"Use unique skill, 'Predator'?" Great Sage asked.

"Yes." Rimuru answered as he engulfed Geld into himself and began to slowly eat away at him as bright flashes of light emitted from inside Rimuru as Geld's body tried even harder to keep him alive.

"My lord!" You heard as you looked to your left and saw Geld's loyal aid who was at his side the entire time, dressed in a dark cloak, but he didn't seem like the other orcs, showing more signs of sincere consciousness.

"Stay back." You called out to the panicked orc as he stopped in his tracks and looked towards you. "If you try and help him, you'll only be eaten away. It's too late." You said to him as the Orc seemed despaired and collapsed to his knees.

"No..." The orc seemed greatly saddened and tears welled in his eyes, but his attention was drawn away from the sight of his dying lord when he heard steps coming towards him.

"Loyal Orc to Geld the Demon Lord." The despaire Orc looked up as he saw you standing next to him with a solemn look on your face. "Before he disappears forever, tell us why this all happened." You said as he saw you were willing to listen to his leader's story before he met his end.

"...We were on the verge of extinction. A great famine had fallen upon us Orcs, and we were forced to embark on a great exodus in search for food and a new home. As we journeyed through the barren lands, our brethren were falling one after the other and before long, it was only a small group of us continuing on as the others awaited their deaths after not being able to move any longer. I and a small number of our brethren journeyed on with our king, but even then the starvation was too great as our small party were forced to eat the ones who had fallen. The children that were with us had to eat parts from our king that he would tear away from himself in order to survive. His regenerative healing allowed him to make himself a food source for us, as much as we despised the thought..." The Orc said with a sad tone as the flashes of light next to you two grew brighter as the sun began to rise up.

"It must have been hard for him...To lead his people on a journey with no food. He must have felt like the world was crushing him..." You said as the Orc in front of you dug his fingers into the ground in frustration.

"He journeyed to the Great Forest of Jura on his own in search of salvation for all of us. Despite the divine protection of the Storm Dragon, he decided to brave the journey and headed off for our sake...!" The Orc said in a pained tone as you turned to see Geld being dissolved as his flesh was being eaten away and parts of his bones were beginning to show. "When he left us to journey to the forest, that was when he met Lord Gelmud..." He said as you closed your eyes.

"And that was when he was coerced into being Gelmud's pawn. The demon manipulated Geld and dangled bait in front of him with food and strength...bait that he had to take a risk on. Unable to choose any other option, Geld was forced to become a pawn of their game and turned into a Demon Lord all for the sake of making sure his kind never went hungry again, and in the process, lives were lost." You said in refference to how the Orc army nearly wiped out the Ogres and the Lizardmen. "Now that I hear it, it's just too sad...Too many became victims due to the schemes that Gelmud and his backers came up with." You said with a voice of pity to the Orcs as they watched their beloved king was about to disappear. "Orcs..." You spoke up as Geld's loyal Orc aid looked up to you as his hood fell back to reveal his whole face. "...I'll do my best to tell them his story, and let them know what happened to you all." You said as this shocked the Orc next to you as he turned to his dying king as Rimuru's body rose into a pillar like shape and Geld was almost gone.

"My king...!" The Orc was deeply saddened, but somehow felt a feeling of relief at the same time from hearing what you said as Geld's body disappeared and the flashes of light ceased once Geld was now eaten, and gone forever.

Soon after Geld's body was absorbed and dissolved, Rimuru's twisted column form soon burst and dissolved as well as he appeared high above the sky in his humanoid form before descending down towards you. You watched as Rimuru seemed to have a slightly saddened and solemn look on his face as it seemed he was also able to have a final talk with Geld before he left from this world. The moment Geld disappeared and Rimuru emerged as the victor between their contest of devouring each other, the effects of the Starved had disappeared along with Geld as they returned back to normal, but they were devastated by the loss of their king. After climbing out of the crater you were all in, the moment you walked out of the crater with Rimuru riding atop your back, cheers erupted from your forces in celebration of the victory and halt of the Orc advancement as the fight came to an end and everyone was able to get some deserved rest while others remained on guard to keep watch of the remaining Orcs, though it seemed they did not wish to put up any resistance to any of you after what just happened. You and Rimuru were stood at the top of a nearby hill watching the morning sun rise over the horizon as Rimuru turned his head to look at the Kijin who were stood behind you two.

"I guess it's over." Rimuru said to Benimaru as he stood in front of his brethren.

"Yes." Benimaru said in agreement to the statement as you turned yourself and Rimuru around fully towards them.

"We promised that you'd be free once the Orc Lord was defeated. Thanks for all your help." Rimuru said on behalf of you two as you gave them a respectful bow of the head, but Benimaru seemed to be at conflict with something inside him.

"Great Rimuru, Great Y/N, I have a favor to ask." Benimaru said as you two looked at him in wonder.

"What is it?" Rimuru asked him.

"Please accept our allegiance. We will continue to sever you two." Benimaru said in almost a pleading tone as he bowed his head in loyalty to the two of you, surprising you both.

"You're sure?" Rimuru asked as he was genuinely surprised at how much they wanted to stay with you two.

"I have no objections." Hakurou said with a calm smile as he closed his eyes.

"We are truly fortunate to have met you." Soei said with a somewhat excited and grateful tone which was a surprising difference from his cold and stoic voice.

"Ehehe~!" Shion giggled as she hopped on top of you while managing to wrap her arms around both you and Rimuru while her breast rested on top of your slime friend and she stroked the bottom of your chin gently. "I'm both of your and Great Y/N's secretary and bodyguard! I'll never leave your sides!" She said with a tone of pure happiness as she cheerfully swung her legs around while riding atop of you.

"Not until the ends of our lives." Benimaru reinforced that statement on the behalf of all their Kijin group.

"O-Okay..." Rimuru said as he was too flustered by the breasts that were casting a shadow over his head.

"It makes me happy that you all feel this way about us. I'm more than excited to have you with us from now on. Thank you." You said to them with a grateful smile as they bowed their heads in agreement. "Now then, one last thing to do before we can finally say this problem is over..." You said as you turned back around to the Marshland as you looked to the domain where the Lizardmen were living in.

After getting some deserved rest and finally settling on the fact that the Kijin were now and forever members of your family and the village, a day had passed and it was time to go over what happened with everyone that was included in this battle, and what would happen after all this. You all gathered in the throne room of the Lizardmen's chieftain as you and Rimuru were at the head of things, with you sat in front of everyone on the ground while Shion sat on top of you and had Rimuru in her lap in his slime form. The Kijin were posted behind you two for protection while the Lizardmen were sat on a bench to the left of you all, the new Orc and his subordinates were on the right of you guys, the Goblin riders were chilling around in the back to listen to everything and act as representatives for their race, and Treyni, who appeared for this meeting, was sat nearby on the side to be a part of this meeting between the three parties involved in the battle.

"Chairmans Rimuru Tempest and Y/N Tempest, please begin the conference." Treyni said as she foisted all authority on the two of you.

"Y-Y-Yeah, my partner, Chairman Rimuru, will lead this talk! Mhmm! Yes..." You said as you deflected the authority that was tossed towards you and left all the burden to your buddy.

"Huh?!" Rimuru gasped in shock as you avoided his gaze. "Uh..." He looked to Treyni in disbelief as she just gave him a kind, yet teasing smile as the slime in charge of the talks was now in a cold-sweat. "Uh...I've never led a meeting like this before, so it's not my strong suit. So I'll just say what's on my mind. I'd like to save your deliberations until after that." Rimuru said as all parties seemed to be listening and giving him their one hundred percent attention. "I'll start by saying this: We don't intend to charge the Orcs with any crimes." He said as this first confused, the shocked the representative and other members of the Orc party that was attending. "I know this may upset the Lizardmen, who suffered the most casualties, but hear me out. The cause of all this was starvation due to famine. Anyone, of any race, might have made the same choices under those conditions. Of course, this is just my public stance on the matter." Rimuru said as the chieftain of the Lizardmen took this as a chance to speak up about this.

"Then may we hear your personal thoughts on it, as well?" The Chieftain asked in wonder Rimuru's personal interest.

"I've taken all of the Orcs' sins upon myself. If anyone has a complaint, bring it to me." Rimuru said as the representative of the Orcs, Geld's most loyal aid and the one you spoke to, was about to speak up but was cut off by you.

"I have one." You spoke as Rimuru looked down at you in confusion. "I don't know what you and Geld talked about before he passed, but you taking on all their sins is out of the question." You said as the representative Orc felt some relief. "I'm your brother, I'll shoulder half of their sins with you." You said which shocked the Orcs even more than before.

"P-Please, wait!" The Orc representative stood up in a panic as he looked at you two in shock. "Surely there is no logic to--!" The Orc representative was cut off as Rimuru turned to him.

"That was my promise with the Demon Lord Geld." Rimuru said as this almost drained all the color from the Orc representatives' face as he was defeated by that statement and sat down in silence, not wanting to go against his king's last wish, as all the other Orcs hung their heads in sadness.

"I see. However, I feel that answer is somewhat unfair." The chieftain of the Lizardmen said as you two expected that they wouldn't really accept that, but you two grew confused when Benimaru stepped forward and turned to the Lizardmen.

"There is one immutable rule shared among all monsters: 'Survival of the fittest.' The moment they faced each other, they were both prepared for that." Benimaru spoke in defense of this answer as Rimuru looked towards him.

"You guys lost your home, too. Don't you have any complaints?" Rimuru asked them as Benimaru turned to his masters.

"I would be lying if I said we didn't, but if it happens again, we will not disgrace ourselves a second time." Benimaru replied as all his fellow Kijin nodded in agreement.

"Uh-huh..." Rimuru just mumbled in acknowledgement of their word.

"I see...That is a fair point. But there is one thing I must know." The chieftain said as you two looked towards him.

"What's that?" Rimuru asked in wonder.

"What will be done with the Orcs?" The chieftain asked as this was question that you two were worried would be brought up. "You have said you will not charge them with any crimes. Does that mean you intend to accept all of their survivors?" He asked as this was a very fragile question to answer, and the Orcs weren't very hopeful for anything in this situation.

"Y/N, what's their remaining numbers after this fight?" Rimuru asked you.

"Even after losing a good chunk of their forces, the total Orcs remaining still amount to about 150,000 of them. Definitely an intimidating number in any situation when handling a race..." You answered your slime brother.

"That being the case...It may sound like some kind of dream, but I'm thinking we can all work together." Rimuru said as the chieftain and everyone else looked at him in wonder.

"Work together?" The chieftain asked.

"Meaning what, exactly?" The chieftain's daughter said in confusion as the representative of the Orcs also looked towards you two in perplexity.

"The Lizardmen will share a clean water source and fish, the Goblins will offer places to live, and our town will give them processed goods. And in return, the Orcs will contribute labor." Rimuru said as the Orcs grew shocked when they realized they were offered a form of safe haven and new place to live and grow.

"All the races of the Great Forest of Jura will form an alliance and build a mutually cooperative relationship. It'd be really cool if we could create a nation where all races could coexist!" Rimuru said as the representative of the Orcs had to speak up at this point.

"A-And you're saying we could also take part in this alliance?" The Orc representative asked nervously.

"Well, you have nowhere else to go, do you? I have a place for you, so do some work. We won't tolerate slackers." Rimuru said as you chuckled.

"Hehe, I have a few ideas of things to build now that we have some extra man-power. We'll be working you guys to the bone, so prepare yourselves." You said as you flashed a wink towards the Orc you spoke with before as they were beyond shocked and tears welled in their eyes.

"Yes, sir!" All the Orcs in the room bowed their heads and instantly dropped to their knees in front of you two as their representative spoke up. "Of course! Of course we will! We will devote our lives to our work!" He said as you two were satisfied by their eagerness and loyalty as you looked over to see the Chieftain nod in agreement of this alliance.

"We would be honored to join forces with you." The chieftain gave his official answer and agreement to this pact.

"Treyni-san, is that okay with you?" Rimuru asked as you two looked over to the Dryad.

"Certainly. The Treants under my protection will share the bounty of the forest, as well. I believe we can alleviate the Orcs' hunger for some time." Treyni said as the Orcs were in shambles of relief and shock hearing how much they were being given as Treyni stood from where she sat. "Then...As caretaker of the forest, I, Treyni, hereby pledge to acknowledge Great Rimuru and Great Y/N as the new chancellors of the Great Forest of Jura..." Treyni said as this sentence shocked you both.

"Chancellor?!" Rimuru's thoughts were audible to you.

"What do Chancellors even do?!" Your thoughts were audible to Rimuru.

"...and declare the Jura Forest Alliance to be established under Chancellor Rimuru and Y/N." Treyni said as she walked forward to the center of the group as she got down on one knee in front of you two as you both were sweating bullets.

"H-Huh? Huh?! HUH?!" You were throwing your head around as expectant smiles were directed towards you and Rimuru from everyone. "T-T-T-Treyni-san, maybe we could talk this over a little more, yeah?" You asked as she smiled at you.

"Truly a fitting role for the last remaining Gojira and child of Malenia, do you not agree?" Treyni said with a giggle as you screamed in panic.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! SHE SAID IT AGAIN!!!!!!!" You screamed in terror of your identity being revealed as the Lizardmen and Orcs were beyond shocked.

"Goodness! A Gojira in the flesh?!" The chieftain said in shock.

"The child of the legendary Gojira, Malenia?" The representative of the Orcs said before they all suddenly got down on their knees in front of you.

"TREYNI-SAN!!! YOU PROMISED YOU'D KEEP THIS A SECRET!!!" You screamed at her with a shocked face.

"Oppsie~! Did I have a slip of the tongue? How careless of me~ Tehe~" Treyni said as she flashed you a wink, gently bonked her head with a fist, and stuck her tongue out playfully as you let out a shocked gasp as you realized something.

"That reaction..." You muttered before growing an irritated face as you threw yourself into the void of your mind. "...It was you who taught her that trope, wasn't it, MOTHER?!?!" Your cries echoed through your mind as your mother began laughing.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~! Sorry! I managed to share thoughts and have a conversation with Treyni while you two were talkin' to everyone. I thought it'd be a funny prank too, seeing your reaction when everyone found out who you were! It was seriously worth it! Ahahahaha!" Malenia said as you were in shambles.

"Mother...!" You were crying both in your mind and outside as Rimuru remained silent after hearing what happened in your head, and was in a panic as everyone in the room now knelt before you two.

"Uh...Er...Buh..." Rimuru muttered in an nervous tone as you two were scared of the positions that were just appointed to you without an input from you or Rimuru.

"Rimuru, my mother set us up..." You whimpered while hugging your slime friend as you two nervously looked at everyone.

"S-Somehow we just ended up the chancellors of the alliance...Not Treyni-san!" Rimuru thought in shock.

"And I don't think declining is an option anymore..." You responded to his thoughts as regardless of how hard you thought of a way to decline the positions, reading the room let you know that there was no other option.

"F-Fine, we will! We'll do it!" Rimuru communicated his thoughts to you before speaking up. "Okay, um...I guess that's how it's gonna be, so we're counting on all of you!" Rimuru called out as he bounced himself on top of your head.

"Yes, sir!" Everyone in the room responded as you two were left in uncontrollable cold sweats as this new Jura Forest Alliance was established.

After talks of the new alliance had come to an end and all parties were ready to leave home, you and Rimuru were walking through the tunnels of the Lizardmen's home on the way out when you heard someone speak up ahead. Not wanting to interrupt the conversation, you and Rimuru suppressed your magicules as best as possible and crept towards the corner ahead as you poked your eyes around to see the Kijin were stopped at the exit as they were speaking to the Orc that was Geld's closest subordinate as he wore his hood in shame.

"You need something?" Benimaru asked the lone Orc.

"Even in the name of survival of the fittest, hate is not a thing that can be resolved so easily. For what we did to your village..." The lone Orc spoke with a heavy and regretful tone as he fell to his knees and bowed his head in front of the Kijin as his hood fell back while he trembled before them. "I cannot apologize enough. I realize this is a selfish request...but please, take my head as penance and have mercy on the others!" He said with heavy nervous breaths as Benimaru and the others stared at him with stoic faces as you two were nervous about what would happen next.

"After the battle, we told Great Rimuru and Great Y/N that we wished to continue serving them, and he gave us official titles." Benimaru said as Shion stood in a proud stance.

"I am a Samurai, bodyguard to Great Rimuru and Y/N. I'm also their secretary." Shion exclaimed her position as you two looked at her with nervous raised brows of how flaunting she was of her role.

"Hakurou is an Instructor, and Soei is a spy. Shuna and Kurobei, who remained in the village have titles, as well." Benimaru said as he referred to Kurobei being a Swordsmith and his sister being the Holy Priestess. "And I received the title of Samurai General from Great Y/N himself. That puts me in charge of military affairs. And now that I'm in this position, I can't very well rob us of a capable fighter, now, can I?" Benimaru said as he and the others turned around and began to leave as the Orc raised his head in shock as the Samurai General stopped in his tracks. "I will show no mercy to any who do wrong to our Lords, but if you join the alliance and revere him as your chancellor, we are not enemies." Benimaru said as the lone Orc was beyond shocked from what he was hearing.

"I wouldn't dream of doing them wrong! They saved all of us. I wish only to serve them. I could never bear them ill will." The lone Orc said in absolute reassurance.

"Then we are fellow servants under the same master." Benimaru said as he turned to him with a confident smile. "Do your best to be useful to Great Rimuru and Great Y/N. I'll accept that as your apology." Was all Benimaru finished with before he and the other Kijin left outside to await the time to go home as the lone Orc stood up from the ground and bowed his head in gratefulness towards them.

"I swear on the name of my father King Geld." The Orc said as you two were surprised by how things were patched up so neatly and maturely between the two races.

"Benimaru is such a gracious guy. We should learn from him." Rimuru communicated with you through thoughts as you nodded in agreement before the two of you turned to the Orc. "And we'll have to give that one a name, as the new leader of the Orcs." He told you as the two of you smiled at this new ally of yours.

After waiting some time for them all to leave the caves, you and Rimuru called the new leader of the Orcs out to the side where you two stood in the marsh in front of him as he awaited his new name. Rimuru was sat on your head as you stood up tall so that you both could look him face to face.

"In hopes that you inherit the wishes of the Orc Disaster, Geld, I grant you the name 'Geld'." Rimuru said as the newly named Geld smiled in gratefulness.

"Yes, sir!" Geld said in sheer joy of the name he was receiving as tears welled in his eyes.

"Lead the Orcs well." Rimuru said as Geld bowed his head.

"Yes, sir." Geld said before he was engulfed in a bright light and overcome with immense power flowing through his body before kneeling in front of you both as a newly evolved Orc King.

"Right, now then..." You spoke first with a happy confident tone before both you and Rimuru began sweating bullets when you turned to the huge line of Orcs that were awaiting to be named. "...time to do the other 150,000 of them." You said in a now exhausted and nervous tone as the line seemed endless.

After spending the next ten days naming the Orcs, it goes without saying that the two of you went into sleep mode after that. Before leaving though, the two of you named the Lizardmen's chieftain 'Abiru' to increase their strength and, after you were finally done naming those who needed names, you and Rimuru were hauled off by Ranga and a pack of Direwolves that had to use all their strength to carry you, as your forces finally returned home with newly formed peace amongst multiple races. After the incident, three months had passed after the defeat of the Orc Lord, and the Orcs that were working for you had evolved into High Orcs and began learning new skills at a rapid pace thanks to the aid and instruction of Kaijin, becoming a dependable work force. You were stood at Shizu's grave looking over the village as a large portion of the trees had been cleared out, and now this village was being transformed into a large town in hopes of housing other monster races in peace.

"In three months, this much has been accomplished. It's an amazing sight to see." You said as you turned around and grabbed a bottle of saké in your mouth before pouring a bit out atop of Shizu's headstone and setting the bottle down. "If only you could've seen this beautiful upcoming, Shizu..." You said as you relished in a gentle breeze that blew through the area.

"I thought we'd find you here." You heard as you turned to see Rimuru coming up towards you as he rode on top of Ranga. "Where's Mai?" He asked as he stopped next to you.

"She's busier than ever now since she and Shuna need to make more clothes for everyone. Though, I drop in from time to time to check up on her." You said as Rimuru turned to relish in the sight of the village as well.

"It's great that the houses have been built. We've got good clothing and tools, too. And..." Rimuru trailed off as you picked up on the excitement in his tone as you turned towards him. "We laid an aqueduct, too! We even have flushing toilets, and both water and sewage systems!" He exclaimed as you laughed at his excitement.

"Ever since that first ride on the new toilet, you've been ecstatic about our water systems." You chuckled in amusement.

"We're building roads, too. The stuff we learned as general contractors came in handy! This'll be great for commerce with the Lizardmen and other regions." Rimuru said as you looked over to the large road that was being paved and laid out. "The bath I asked for will be finished soon, too. Mmmm! I can't wait!" Rimuru said as you nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, I've got a nice deep bath that I can laze around in after a long day's work." You said in relaxation of just thinking of the bath as Rimuru looked down to his Starwolf.

"Right, Ranga? We should all work hard together to make this village an even great place." Rimuru asked as Ranga let out a small bark of agreement.

"Yes, master! As you two wish!" Ranga agreed wholeheartedly as you two shared a laugh while staring down at your growing home.

"A place to live in peace...At last, our town's complete!" Rimuru said as you two shared a high five with your tiny arms, but things would be cut short as Soei suddenly appeared behind you two.

"My Lords, we have an emergency." Soei reported as you two turned around in confusion.

"I always knew your jinx followed us ever since we came here! Now it's decided to bear its fangs at our highest point!" You said in frustration while bonking Rimuru on the top of his slime form as he jiggled.

"Huh?! This is your jinx's fault! I don't jinx things!" Rimuru yelled as he jumped at you and began pulling at his face while you began morphing his body in different ways.

"W-What's happened, Soei-GNGH!" You asked with a grunt as Rimuru was pulling your lips apart in this horseplay you two were engaged in.

"Several hundred pegasus-mounted knights are heading this way." Soei said as this info bomb stopped you two in your feud immediately.

"Huh?" You both said in shock of the number heading towards your town as you two shared a look at each other before you threw Rimuru back on top of Ranga and you all made haste back to town.

After gathering your strongest allies to be prepared to take any defensive measures, along with warning the necessary parties about what was happening, you and Rimuru, along with Benimaru, Soei, Hakurou, Shion, Ranga, Rigurd and his son Rigur, were all running down one of the newly paved streets as you saw the knights descending towards the town. Not far behind though, was a panicked Kaijn who ran as fast as he could, for when the knights grew closer, he recognized a very important person among their ranks, that being the Hero King of the Dwarves himself, Gazel Dwargo. You all came to a stop in a small patch of dirt that had no construction going on at the time and watched in shock and caution as a few of the knights circled the area while Gazel and his aids slowly descended down towards you all.

"My Lords, what shall we do?" Benimaru asked for guidance from the two of you.

"We've met before and had somewhat of a discussion...actually we were tried at a court, but I don't think we're enemies, however let's stay on alert and do our best to avoid any conflict." You suggested to everyone.

"It's no problem. We can just knock them all away." Shion said before yelping as you bonked her with your tail as you and Rimuru stared at her in awe of what she just said.

"If it comes down to a fight, evacuate the townsfolk. We'll buy time until then." Rimuru spoke the backup plan as Benimaru and the others turned towards you two.

"Right." Benimaru said in confirmation of the goal in this situation as the Hero King and his forces touched down on the ground in front of you all, and Kaijin came running to the King's side before dropping to one knee in respect.

"It is a pleasure to see you again." Kaijin said as Gazel stepped off his Pegasus and turned to him.

"It's been a long time, Kaijin." Gazel said to his former subordinate.

"Yes, Majesty!" Kaijin said as he bowed his head before his former king while you took Rimuru from Shion and walked up with him in your small arms as he took notice of you two.

"You are the slime and lizard?" Gazel said as he looked you both eye to eye while you placed Rimuru on your head and stood tall and firm.

"I'll introduce ourselves first. My name is Rimuru. This is Y/N." Rimuru said as he pat him and yourself with his small slime appendage. "We're a slime and lizard, but we'd rather you didn't call us that. We are the chancellors of the Jura Forest Alliance, after all." Rimuru spoke in a firm and unyielding tone as he turned himself into his humanoid form and today he was with his coat and wore a sleeveless shirt with Shizu's mask on the side of his head as he wrapped an arm around you. "This isn't really my true form, but it's easier to talk to me this way, right?" Rimuru said with a kind smile before gesturing to them. "So...why are you here?" He asked the main question right away.

"I'll get right to the point. Rimuru, Y/N, I've come to see what you two truly are." Gazel said as with a piercing gaze directed at you two.

"What we truly--!" Rimuru was cut off as you all noticed Gazel take hold of this sheathed blade at his side.

"I will expose your true natures with my sword!" Gazel announced as this shocked you both. "Since you boasted of being the chancellors of this forest, it seems I must teach you two, exactly, where you stand! If your sword and fangs are more than mere decoration, you would do well to accept my proposal." Gazel said while grabbing the hilt of his blade as you glared at him and let out a menacing bellow from your throat as you took a defensive stance in front of Rimuru as your friend grabbed hold of the sword at his back.

"Your Majesty, are you..." One of Gazel's subordinates spoke up as Gazel turned back with a smirk.

"An earnest battle is the quickest way to settle this, is it not?" Gazel said with a quick chuckle as you and Rimuru had your own excited faces on.

"All right, then. We accept. We'll make you regret accusing me of boasting." Rimuru said as he unsheathed his sword and pointed its end towards Gazel as you stomped the ground and smacked your tail in the dirt while baring your fangs as Gazel took his own stance and readied his blade as well.

A tense breeze of air blew through the area as you three stood in silence for a few moments, letting tension rise before Gazel suddenly spoke up.

"If you can defend against my entire chain of attacks, you win." Gazel said as this confused you and Rimuru. "However...I suggest you do not underestimate the sword skill of Master Swordsman Gazel Dwargo." He warned you.

"Fine." Rimuru said before a strange presence and breeze came around once more, and you all turned in surprise to see Treyni appear in front of everyone.

"Very well. I will serve as witness to this contest." Treyni said as Gazel was surprised and confused by the appearance of a Dryad.

"Is that...a Dryad?" Gazel's aid said in shock before Gazel looked at you two and cocking his eye and lip in an impressed manner.

"I willingly apologize for accusing you of boasting. I have a vague understanding of the circumstances now." Gazel said as this slightly relieved you both.

"Then..." Rimuru was about ask if the battle would no longer go on, but that was instantly shot down.

"But that is a separate matter from judging your true nature." Gazel said as he was still determined to fight you both.

"Huh?" You and Rimuru both cocked your heads in shock and confusion as Gazel took firm hold of his blade.

"Now that we have a witness, all that remains is to clash against one another!" Gazel said as you two readied yourselves as well.

"Yeah, I guess so. We'll win this in no time and make you explain what's going on here." Rimuru said as you let out a growl as your eyes flashed red for a moment.

"Hehe. If you manage to defeat me, you will have your answer." Gazel said as you and Rimuru were ready to fight Gazel Dwargo.

"Begin!" Treyni announced as you dashed ahead of Rimuru.

"Try and hold this back!" You yelled as you slid across the ground and spun around, sending your tail towards him.

Raising his blade with seemingly no worry in terms of speed, Gazel blocked your tail strike as the generated force behind your attack continued through, sending a powerful shockwave to the side. While you were main spearhead of the attack, Rimuru dashed around to get behind Gazel for a piercing strike, but Gazel still managed as he parried you away and deflected Rimuru's attack before pushing him back a few feet. You slid across the ground on your feet and stopped behind Gazel as Rimuru spun backwards a few times before landing on his own feet and catching his balance as the Hero King stood between you two.

"Is that all the strength you two have, Rimuru? Y/N?" Gazel said in a unworried tone as Rimuru stood back up straight.

"Quiet! We just haven't started taking this seriously yet. Don't rush us." Rimuru said as he readied himself for another attack again.

"It is two vs one, we can't exactly just go all out." You said while swiping your foot on the ground repeatedly as you readied for a charge.

"You don't have to worry about numbers." Was all Gazel said before taking a step forward and clashing blades with Rimuru, a powerful strike of blades echoing as Rimuru slid across the ground on his feet from the intense strike he held off against.

"Rimuru!" You were shocked by how much power Gazel just displayed as you gave chase.

"Don't be too hasty!" Gazel said as he turned back with a swing and you managed to block his blade as well with your claws, but there was definitely a lot more power behind the strike he just did as you widened your eyes in surprise.

Though he couldn't cut through your hardened claws or heavily armored skin, Gazel still had a surprising amount of power as he pushed through with his strike and sent you flying towards Rimuru as you dug your claws and feet into the ground and slid back. Sliding to a stop in front of Rimuru, you stood back up straight and in a defensive stance as you mumbled to him.

"This old man's got all kinds of tricks up his sleeve. What's the move, partner?" You asked Rimuru.

"He's strong, all right...But we can't just lose this." Rimuru muttered back to you before you both noticed Gazel take on a familiar stance with his blade. "That stance..." Rimuru trailed off in shock as Gazel called out.

"Here I come, you two! Haze: Thunder of Heaven and Earth!" Gazel called out his technique before vanishing at high speeds.

You and Rimuru looked around in shock to see where he had went, but picking up his scent, you managed to turn back ahead and pushed Rimuru back as you swung your tail forward in front of you. There was a loud clang and a small shockwave was unleashed again as you had blocked a rising strike from Gazel's blade and staggered back a few steps. Knowing what he had just done, Rimuru had Gazel in his palm now.

"The next strike is coming...from above!" Rimuru thought as he hopped onto your back and raised his blade horizontally above you two.

Just as he predicted, Gazel swung his blade down with immense strength as Rimuru blocked the attack and there was another powerful clash as you two stood your ground against Gazel. All parties that were witness to this incredible duel were shocked from what they had just seen as you and Rimuru grinned to show some amusement as the two of you put in effort to hold back and stand strong against Gazel's blade that rubbed against Rimuru's sword.

"Hm...Hmhmhm...Hahaha! You two managed to stop my strike! With incredible teamwork nonetheless!" Gazel said in a humored and impressed tone as you two grew confused looks.

"Enough. The winner is Rimuru and Y/N Tempest." Treyni announced as the duel came to an official end and you were both left stunned as Gazel pulled his blade away and returned it to its sheath.

"I understand now after trading blows with you two. You two are not evil beings." Gazel said in his own confirmation as your allies nodded in agreement.

"What the hell?" Rimuru and you both sighed in emotional exhaustion as he slumped himself ontop of you.

"I am impressed that you saw through my Haze: Thunder of Heaven and Earth. Well done, you two." Gazel said as he patted Rimuru on the shoulder and you on the head.

"Oh, that was just a coincidence. Our master used that move, so we dealt with it a lot in training. That's all, really." Rimuru said awkwardly as you slipped your head away in flusterment from the head pat he gave you and Gazel seemed surprised at this information.

"What? Could it be your master was..." Gazel was cut off when someone stepped forward and you both turned to see Hakurou walk up with his proud smile.

"Ohohoho. Excellent work, my Lords." Hakurou let out an amused and proud chuckle as Gazel was amazed at who he was being reacquainted with.

"Ohh! The Savant!" Gazel said as Hakurou looked at the Hero King with the same proud look.

"You no longer look like the little boy I found lost in the forest. Ah...Forgive me, Dwarf King. I am overjoyed to see that you have surpassed me with the sword." Hakurou back tracked as he bowed in respect to the Dwarf King.

"What an honor to hear you say that." Gazel said with joy as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously while you two watched from the side with smiles.

"The world's a smaller place than we think. To think Hakurou was Gazel's master, what a treat." You said in amusement of this interaction between the two as calm and peaceful interactions followed suit from both parties.

After clearing the test that Gazel put you and Rimuru up against, the day came to an end thanks to being enveloped in having fun with everyone and night came as you all had dinner with one another. You were gathered in an outdoor dining house that was open walled to enjoy the outside air while under a roof and on comfortable tatami flooring. Whilst the others were chatting away and speaking about the activities they were involved in, you and Rimuru were sat separate at the head spots of the dining area where you were eating with Gazel and his closest aid and finally got an explanation of their arrival.

"I see. You were investigating the odd assembly of monsters that defeated the Orc Lord." Rimuru repeated their reasoning for appearing hear as Gazel who was out of his armor, sat with small cup of saké in hand.

"Yes, to determine whether they were friend or foe. Rimuru, Y/N, there's something I must ask you two." Gazel said to you both with a serious tone.

"Sure." Rimuru said as you two were willing to listen to him wholeheartedly.

"Have you two any interest in entering a treaty with me?" Gazel asked as this came as a surprise to you both. "If you were to gain control of everything in this vast forest, you could obtain wealth and power surpassing my own nation. It would serve you well to have another nation supporting you at such a time." He said as you two glanced at one another before turning to him with surprised faces.

"That would be fantastic, but..." Rimuru trailed off as this conversation had been caught by everyone's ears and you turned to see them all staring at you four. "Are you sure? That would be the same as acknowledging our gathering of monsters as its own nation." He asked Gazel with the warnings that came from this possible outcome, but Gazel seemed fine with them.

"Of course. And this deal would benefit us, as well. Both sides stand to profit." Gazel said as Rimuru found himself caught in a conflict of thoughts.

"What do you think, Y/N?" Rimuru asked for some input on your end as you rubbed your chin with your tail in wonder.

"Mmmmmm...it's very tempting, but personally I'm just worried about what happens to them when others hear their nation acknowledge us monsters as a newly born nation. It's not something that can be easily accepted..." You said before turning to Rimuru. "I'll agree with whatever you choose, brother." You said as Rimuru rested his head on his hand.

"I guess we have no reason to refuse." Rimuru said before pushing any worries off as you two smiled and faced Gazel. "We'll gladly accept." He said as the deal was made.

"Good." Gazel said in relief as he looked straight back at you both. "And what is the name of your nation?" He asked as this question stumped you both.

"Our nation's name?" You both used Thought Communication as you two were beyond nervous.

"W-W-What do we do, brother?!" Your panicked thoughts rang in Rimuru's head.

"I don't know I didn't think of that yet!" Rimuru's panicked thoughts rang back in your head as you both began to think hard of a name. "Um...If we take one from 'Forest of Jura' and our names that include 'Tempest'..." Rimuru's thoughts swirled around the two of yours' minds before you both agreed on a name. "The Jura Tempest Federation!" You both shouted out the new name of your monster nation.

"The Jura Tempest Federation?" Gazel repeated the name as everyone who was drinking on the side stood up in excitement.

"That's our Great Lords!" Shion exclaimed in excitement as Benimaru stood up with his cup and bottle of saké.

"Then our nation shall be called the Jura Tempest Federation, and this town shall be called Rimuru&Y/N!" Rigurd said as he made those names official amongst everyone.

"Huh?!" You and Rimuru were both flustered and shocked from what they were saying.

"Capital City of Rimuru&Y/N!" Rigurd repeated the name of the capital as you two stood up.

"Huh?! Just combining our names and calling it a capital city?! Not only is it embarrassing, it doesn't roll off the tongue that well!!" You thought in shock.

"Hang on, that's kinda embarrassi--!" Rimuru was about to protest to the name as you both had flustered pink hues on your faces, but got cut off.

"Capital City of Rimuru&Y/N! No other name would do!" Shion said as she had sparkles in her eyes from the name.

"I agree. It's a perfect name for our town." Benimaru said as you two were under the belief he was being influenced by his drink.

"It would seem that this is settled." Gazel said as he extended his hand out to the two of you, and you both gave up protesting the name and turned to the Hero King with glad expressions on your faces.

"Yeah." Rimuru said as you wrapped your tail around Gazel's wrist and Rimuru gasped his hand and the three of you shook hands, sealing the deal on this treaty as for the first time in history, a newly formed nation of monsters was established, and the capital city of this nation of monster was formed.
