Chapter 25
<Stiles' POV>
We made it to the captors building about five minutes ago. It is just how Malia described. Sketchy outside and a party on the inside. Lydia and I will go in first and then the others will follow.
We pass security and eventually find ourselves past the party full of traveling, sweaty, and dancing American teens who passed the border just to drink and party. Once past the party we mention to one of the guards we are here to see the Calevera hunters. With a cautious nod he leads Lydia and I to a back room as I elusively carry the stacks of money in a black bag with me. Lydia has barely said a word to me.
I don't understand. She claims she loves me but then after Aiden died, nothing. I haven't asked her about that night. Like if she loved him too or something like that. For now I'll put that problem to the side. Right now Derek and Isaac are my main priorities.
Once we are in the room I quickly scan it for any weapons. There are two burly men holding large guns and one woman turned the other way in her chair. So all I can see is her back and the tips of her hair that cut off at the top of her neck. The man that lead us here sits us down in two chairs in front of the woman's desk. I give Lydia a reassuring look even though I'm probably more nervous than her.
Finally the older women turns around. "Ah a banshee and what, a human?" She says once she has looked at us for a split second. Lydia looks at the women confused or concerned maybe.
"How do you know I'm a banshee?" She asks. The woman smiles mischievously.
"Well you cringes as if there was a voice only you could hear, so it was either you're crazy or your supernatural, and supernatural was more likely considering you have come to see hunters, hello I'm Araya," Araya introduces herself as a figure to be looked up to.
"Let's get to the point, we want Derek and Isaac," I snarl.
"We hear you can be bought," Lydia says. I believe this to be the moment to take out the money. I slam ten stacks of money on the table. One thousand dollars in each stack.
"Well where do two teens find this much cash?" Araya asks smirking. I look at her with my eyebrows furrowed.
"What makes you think there is only two of us?" I can picture it. Everyone exactly where we planned then to be. Allison hiding in the chandelier after breaking through the roof elusively with her crossbow in hand. Malia at the bar and Kira in the crowd. Then Scott monitoring everyone from the side.
"You brought a creature into my home?" Araya asks.
"Actually we brought three different creatures, and a huntress," Lydia corrects, "a very invisible huntress," Lydia describes. She is right though, Allison is so sly she is practically invisible.
"Well that doesn't really put me in the mood to hand over your friends."
"More aquatints then friends... have you met them? Very negative people," I say convincingly. Lydia agrees with my statement by nodding. I hesitate to grab her hand, then I rethink the idea.
"Actually I didn't get much time with them," Araya states. I think for a second and it clicks.
"You don't know where they are either."
"Two days after we let that Malia go Peter, Isaac, and Derek were taken by someone, we don't know who because they killed all the witnesses, my people." Now I do squeeze Lydia's hand. She doesn't even flinch. "But maybe you know them..." she trails off. The hair on my neck sticks up and chills are sent through my body. I hear a man mumble behind us to move in. In a split second I have brought Lydia to my side and dropped to the ground with her under me. She shrieks and just when I think I've escaped the mans blow he his me in the head with his walkie talkie. My vision gets a little blurry and I see Lydia have the look of extreme peril all over her face. The man hits me again and I'm out.
<Scott's POV>
Something isn't right. I heard Lydia scream from the back room. My hearing quickly picked up the sound of the guards say move in. I look up at Allison in the chandelier and nod. She takes my cue and readies her crossbow. Next I look to Malia and she gets what I mean. She follows me quickly to Kira. "Stiles and Lydia couldn't bribe them, get ready," I explain quickly. Next thing I know a guy comes up behind Kira but an arrow hits him before I can react. Soon we are in a full fledged fight with Malia and I slashing with our claws and super strength and Kira using her electrified nunchucks. An occasional arrow hits all the guards we can't protect ourselves from. Unfortunately our efforts aren't enough. Someone climbs up a ladder to the chandelier and captures Allison who tries and fails to attack. With my mind occupied on my first love someone zaps me and I hear Kira and Malia fall to the ground as well.
Well that went well.
I wake up to cold metal on my back and tiny wire wrapped around me. The next thing I see is scarier than anything I've seen in a while. Lydia is strapped to a chair just like me. Allison is being held in front of machines with two notches. Stiles, Malia, and Kira are behind a wall of glass, strapped to chairs with duct tape on their mouths. Malia looks extremely angry, and Kira and Stiles look absolutely petrified.
The Mexican hunter woman stand in front of me smirking. "As your detective friend pointed out, we don't have your friends either, but you know who took them," Araya. I roll my eyes and grit my teeth.
"We came here! What makes you think we know where they are?" Lydia asks. Araya looses her smile and walks in front of Lydia. Without hesitation she back hands Lydia with a satisfying smack.
Allison whimpers and Stiles and I pull at our restraints. Only Stiles keeps pulling till his wrists bruise from his cuffs. "I don't think I was talking to the banshee, now this is how it's gonna go," Araya starts, "I will ask you who took your friends and you are going to answer me and if you don't answer me the young huntress will turn the dial and if you still don't answer she turns the other dial on Lydia, I don't think she can heal either," Araya says smirking.
"We don't know who took them!" I repeat angrily. Araya looks to Allison.
"No! No I won't," she resists. Araya's other Hunter reaches for Lydia's dial. "No! Attach me to the wires," Allison offers nervously. I pull at my restraints.
"No Allison!" I yell. Araya slaps me like she did Lydia and then takes Allison from behind the dials. I am forced there instead after being ripped from my restraints and the chair. Lydia starts to squirm.
"Allison don't!" She screams. Allison just ignores her and sits bravely in the chair that will soon be electrocuted.
I stare down at the dials. In a few moments I will have to electrocute either Lydia or Allison. Two of the most important people in my life. A tear makes its way down my face.
"Now I'll ask again, who took Derek and Peter Hale and Isaac Lahey," Araya asks angrily. Allison leans closer to her intimidatingly.
"We. Don't. Know," she speaks clearly.
"Turn the dial Scott McCall," Araya demands.
"No, we don't know!" Lydia yells. I look at Araya panicked.
"Severo, turn the dial on the banshee," Araya tells the hunter next to me. Stiles tries to scream through the duct tape. His face turning red from his effort. The tendons in his neck test how far they can stick out before breaking through the skin. The hot tears streaming down his face only add to the sad demonic expression. Stiles pulls against his restraints angrily. Blood spills from his wrists where his hand cuffs are splitting his skin. Severo turns the dial on Lydia. Allison screams and Lydia shouts in pain. Her high pitched yell makes me cover my ears and close my eyes.
When I open them again the Severo has stopped the electric current. Lydia lays limp in the chair but remains conscious. Allison tries to reach her best friends hand but fails for her restraints are too tight. "If you fail to answer me again I will shock the huntress," Araya claims.
"Please don't," I beg.
"It's okay Scott... electrify me until you come to your senses and realize we don't know who took our friends," Allison snaps at Araya. I begin to shake.
"Scott turn the dial all the way," Araya demands. I look up at her in shock.
"It'll kill her," I state.
"Do it," she repeats. Severo places my hand on the Dial and slowly turns the dial all the way. Allison grips the chair with all of her strength. Her knuckles turn white and a scream erupts from her mouth. I begin to cry with Stiles who's tears haven't stopped this whole time. Malia looks emotionless and Kira is close to tears as well.
I push Severo's hand away and turn the dial back to zero. When I do Allison stops moving. Now nervous I listen for her heart beat. For a few seconds all I hear so silence then it begins to thump. I breathe out a sigh of relief. Just unconscious.
"SEVERO TURN THE DIAL ALL THE WAY ON THE BANSHEE! THEY WILL TELL ME WHO TOOK OUR PRISONERS!" Araya screams as loud as she possibly can. Lydia's dial turns and I swear if someone ever asked me who can become the most in love, it would be Stiles.
Because Lydia is now dying from the electrocution Stiles pulls so hard on his wrist cuffs I hear his bone dislocate as he breaks free. With all the strength he has he removes the duct tape from his mouth and then lays his hand limp by his side, completely broken.
"STOP! I know who took them!" Stiles yells. We all look at him surprised. Severo turns the dial for Lydia to zero and she goes into the same state as Allison. "It was Malia's mother, it was her mother," Stiles clarifies sweating profusely. Malia widens her eyes. Araya looks at Stiles very surprised.
"And how did you come to this conclusion?" Araya questions.
"In the car ride here Malia mentioned her mother put her up for adoption, then before Isaac left he said she knew Peter, and also the girl knew Derek, she is Derek's aunt and Malia's mother," Stiles explains. He never seizes to amaze me. My best friend is truly the only person that could have figured that out. I want to smile, but am to worried about Allison and Lydia.
"Clever aren't you," Araya says smiling. She paces the room silently for a few minutes. Out of the corner of my eye I see Stiles unlocking Malia and Kira from the hand cuffs with his good hand. I know what he is doing. Araya looks to me. "Well my hunters will just have to go find them, and kill them."
"Not if we get there first," I say. In a split second Malia shatters the glass separating us and attacks Araya. Kira aids her as I take out Severo. Stiles jumps through the giant opening from where the glass used to be and tries to go for Lydia. When he tries a guard throws him off.
"Stiles get Allison!" I yell as I take out the guard after leaping over the dials. After the guard is out I collect Lydia in my arms as Stiles leads with Allison slung over his shoulder that doesn't have a dislocated wrist. Kira and Malia follow suit. We run as fast as possible out of that building and find our cars.
Lydia's car is left behind as we place the unconscious brunette and strawberry blonde into the backseat of Stiles' jeep. Kira drives and Stiles sits shotgun because he can't drive with his wrist. Lydia has enough money for another car anyways. Malia hops on my bike with me and we drive off with Kira leading me. Stiles looked up a nearby hotel that we can stay at until we figure out what to do.
All that is on my mind though is Lydia and Allison's health at the moment.
A/N well shit I fucked this up baddd.
