Axels POV

"We have to climb," Nelli says, gulping so loud I can hear it.
"Well, no dip Sherlock!" I exclaim, it's become kind of an inside joke for us.
She smiles, but anxiety is written all over her face.
"What if I fall?" She asks, her sea green eyes look as if they'd rather be anywhere than here.
"Oh, my darling," I say, grabbing her shoulders, "What if you fly?"
She looks down, her face riddled with first fear, then strength.
"Hello! The third wheel is still here!" Rose says, when I lean in to kiss Penelope.
"Sorry, but I have to," I say, smirking, but still looking innocent.
I kiss Nelli, and it's the first real kiss. Not under a dock, or with her mentally unavailable. My ears are burning, and my heart pounding. Gods, if this is love, I hate it.
Nelli grins, and starts climbing after Rose. I make sure to stay close under her, Incase she slips, which happens, and my face is there to catch her foot.
"Hey, Nelli Dear, your foot is in my face," I call up to her.
"Sorry," she says, her voice quavering with fear.
Heights aren't good for kids of Poseidon. It's Zeus's territory. He could do anything. But I think the old guy was feeling remorse, because she was so scared. And plus, if that over glorified god, so much as laid a FINGER on her, he would be completely dead. Or as dead as a weak little Ares kid could get him. Wait, the gods are immortal. Never mind. He'd regret it is all I am saying.
Rose reaches the top, before Nelli and me. But when Penelope finally gets up, I make sure she knows how well she did.
"Took you long enough!" Rose yells, as Penelope gets up from the ground.
"Shut up, Little Miss Sunshine," I say, walking Penelope far from the edge.
That's when we see it; the shimmering golden harp.
I run towards it, and grab it.
I triumphantly hold it up, when Nelli chokes,
"Look behind you," as I turn around, a giant snake, slithers our from under a bolder.
I am so dead
