from lonely
the differences
are clear
that's what they told me

alone is being fine
independence
free will
i'm not even sad
that you're not here

but loneliness
is dark
and comes along with fear
grows with them
as the Night grows near
and make me believe you'll abandon me here

next time you tell me
"you're lonely but not alone?"
