The Three Magic Words
Ashi gathered her luggage and took a cab to her house. The daughter's homecoming shocked Abhi and Pragya. "Ashu, why have you already returned? I believed you were going to move to London." Ashi approached her father, who was relaxing on the leather sofa, and tenderly wrapped her arms around him. "Since I want to stay in India, I changed my mind." "How about your career, though? You've been working hard for four years straight, and you're quitting?"The statement Ashi was about to speak to her father made her shiver. She inhaled deeply and exhaled her tension. "Papa, I want to get married. I love him Papa, but I have not confessed to him yet." Abhi's eyes widened in disbelief at the sudden shift in the original plan. She had a proposal from a wealthy family last year, but she turned it down because of her profession. Is she already prepared? "But Ashu, you need to meet him first. Who's this?" "Siddharth Anand, Papa. I have informed you about him, right?" "He is an actor, though. You belong to a traditional family that runs a business. "Although Ashi thought she was prepared, she won't challenge her father. "He is an excellent and honest guy. He changed his behavior. He will make a great partner for me, I'm sure. Papa, please! Pleaase!" Abhi agreed because he couldn't fight with his daughter. "I'm thankful Papa. You are the best!" "I always have been. Do go see him, please?" As she exited the room, Ashi gave her father a big hug. She kissed Pragya as well before leaving to accomplish her most difficult task. Siddharth was standing there, gazing at the rocks, when she noticed him. "Siddharth!" Siddharth was startled when he looked up to see who was calling him. "Ashi! I believed you would never return. "Siddharth I understood how important you were to me. I've changed my opinion thanks to India, Papa Mama, you, Avneet, and the others. Although I was unsure the other day, I have fallen in love with you, Sid. But I'm sorry for what I said, and I really want you. It's okay if you fall out of love with me or find another woman who fulfills your dreams. I was such a fool! Forgive me, please. Although I have seen the treasures of the world, you are my innermost treasure. Will you marry me?" Ashi's eyes pricked with tears as they rolled to the ground. Ashi's breath was snatched away when Siddharth held her face. As he responded, her heart was racing so rapidly. "I want to know if this is a dream. Ashi, I'm sorry too! I love you so much and find it impossible to understand my existence without you." There was a spark when Siddharth softly pressed his lips to hers. Ashi began to remember all the events and memories. He finally put a ring on her finger as they came to a stop. They were married after a month of enjoying each other's company. Ashi grinned as everyone applauded.
Life was wonderful after marriage. Ashi was the ideal housewife; she produced a variety of delicacies, took charge of the home, and helped Siddharth with his work through gardening. Siddharth managed his acting career, paid the rent for their mansion because they were now renting a different home, and occasionally assisted Ashi. Even though they were not the perfect couple, they remained in love. Being inseparable, they did everything together, including humorous pranks, travels, and activities. They called their family to celebrate Holi and Diwali together. After making amends to his parents, they got back together, and Siddharth always valued their concern and love.
