Close Connection
Siddharth POV:
Finally, my daughter and I have established a close relationship, and we have a special bond. She enjoyed spending time with me regularly, and we enjoyed ourselves with everyone. Although Ashi is slowly softening her solid demeanor, she is still hesitant to tell Ami the truth. She has every right to keep her personal matters secret, so I won't meddle in them. Her words from that night are still clearly audible in my memory and severely troubled me. But at least her heart is starting to soften a little. She will soon embrace me as her spouse and reveal me as a father to Ami. Those words were the only things which I ever longed to hear in my life. Adrien followed Marinette as she suddenly knocked on the door. I reply, "Come inside." Adrien starts as they sit down on my bed. "I'm just not sure how much longer you can keep this a secret from Amrita, Sid. I am aware of your burning desire for Ashi's and Ami's love, but Ashi will not change no matter how hard we try to convince her. There are only a few days left until you must leave your past and the family you love." I comforted Adrien as tears were streaming from his eyes. I feel awful for the poor guy. "Ashi should be the one to tell Ami the truth so that she might think about giving me another chance. Since I know my wife better than anybody else in the world, I am confident that she will change her mind. After my mother died, the only family I have left is her and Amrita. I'll sacrifice my life for them, yet all I want is to once again be a part of their lives, even if that means continuing to be a stranger to this family. At least I get to see Ami grow and establish a relationship with her. All I want is that. But I'm at a loss for words when it comes to how much I love my Ashi. All I want is her back." I cry with sorrow and Marinette and Adrien threw their arms around me. "Siddharth, Ashi's current behavior is not your fault. It seems as though she has cut herself off from the rest of the world because she hardly speaks to anyone anymore. I only wish I could change the situation." Marinette notices Siddharth's smile. "You are already the best friends I could possibly want at that point, so thank you. You are making every effort to repair our relationship, which is what I need from you." As Ashi viewed him from behind, Siddharth grinned and wiped his tears away. She felt awful since she hated watching her husband cry, but she was able to manage her emotions.
Ashi POV:
I am experiencing true pain as I watch Siddharth cry. Since I have an unwavering love for Siddharth within me, I have never wished to hurt him. But the fact that all of this is taking place is his fault. I am torn between the two sides since I am unsure which one I am on. We shall all restore our familial ties one day after he earns my trust. I immediately remember that I wanted Siddharth to accompany Amrita when she had to go to the mall. I should definitely go out with them as well because I know that he is looking out for her like a father. I instantly wipe away my tears as Siddharth approaches me after he suddenly notices me. "Would you mind taking Ami to the mall? Along with you people, I want to go." I can see him grinning slightly because he's glad, and I do the same, but I immediately return to my serious mode. "Sure!" Amrita gets ready as she goes down stairs.
Ashi Look:
Amrita Look:
Siddharth:
Siddharth's good looks caused Ashi to severely blush. "You look great today." Siddharth reddened while running his fingers through his hair. "You look beautiful." Amrita responded while giggling. "My mom occasionally has the appearance of my older sister. She appears to be even more gorgeous than I am." Siddharth made a small frown. "Who said that? The same can be said about my Amrita." As she saw the two of them hugging, Ashi grinned. She cherished their strong relationship and was reminded of how close they once were. The whole family rode in the car to the mall. "I sometimes wonder about the similarity in appearance and naming between my father and Siddharth." Ashi blurted out in alarm. "Just a coincidence, I guess. Anyway, you intended to visit Claire's first, correct?" Amrita replied while shaking her head. "No Mom. Actually, since my uncle Anand and I both enjoy kulfis, we figured we'd start there." Despite Ami having lived with Ashi for all these years, Ashi was starting to feel a little left out as Siddharth grew closer to her in these recent days. She felt bad because she was always working and didn't realize how much love and care Ami needed after her father was gone. "Okay. But only if I can take part this time. Siddharth smiled and nodded. They all proceeded to the ice cream parlor and enjoyed chatting there while recounting their exciting journeys. After their shopping, Amrita and Ashi made their way to the parking lot as Siddharth proceeded to look at a map to find his way back home. Ashi was almost placed to be run over by a speeding car when Siddharth stepped in to rescue her. Sadly, he was actually struck, leaving Ashi breathless. "SIDDHARTH!" Amrita rushed up to his side in disbelief. Amrita was holding Ashi when she passed out from fear. "Amrita think. Calling Adrien and Marinette is necessary." She swiftly dialed their phone number and the ambulance. They moved as quickly as they could over. "Goodness, gracious. We must reach the hospital as soon as possible." Adrien rode in his black Kia as Marinette and Amrita sat inside the ambulance. As her mother awoke in horror, Amrita splashed water in her eyes. "My Siddharth, where are you? Where is he?" Amrita became perplexed as to why her mother had a relationship with Anand Uncle, and Marinette soothed her. "Don't worry, Ashi, he's OK." As soon as Ashi saw Amrita, she let out a small sigh of relief and wrapped her arms around her, tears pouring down her face. She observed him in the ICU with a nasal for life support over his mouth and nose. She can't stop crying, and her body shook as rivers of mournful tears streamed from her eyes. She rushed up to Siddharth, who appeared pale and lifeless as he was being taken back to the room. She sat on the edge of the bed, her face buried in her hands, and sobbed in quiet. "Sid, I'm really sorry. All I want is you back. I'm not sure how much longer I can keep Ami from knowing the truth. But please don't abandon me in this condition. You know of your Ashi's love for you. I am entirely to blame for this; I deserved this. You have my complete love. I love you so much." He opened his eyes when Ashi saw him and gave him a bear embrace. Tears were streaming down his face. She didn't give a damn what other people thought. But as Amrita entered the room, she slipped out of his grasp. "Anand uncle, you absolutely terrified me. I'm so relieved you're ok." While Ashi smiled and wept joyful tears, Siddharth gave her an affectionate hug. "I am well because of you. But I want to have a short private conversation with your mother." Siddharth gazed into the eyes of his loving wife as Amrita shut the door after she left. "Why did you respond in that way? I believed I had almost lost you. You had terrified me to death." While smiling within, Siddharth had an uneasy frown. "Ashi, your death was near. I wasn't able to bear to see you in that state. Even if you don't love me, you understand that you are my life and every single breath. I was powerless to lose you." Ashi's eyes were red from crying, and he turned away with tears in his eyes.
