Chapter 31
Tee's POV
When I noticed P'Tae rubbing the side of his forehead in a circular motion, I did not even have to wait for him to answer Copter's question if he was alright. I turned my head away in case he noticed the guilty look on my face.
I heard him whisper something to Godt to which Godt nodded and then I saw him proceed to the bedroom. He was probably going to sleep off his headache after taking his pain pills.
I tried to help out in the kitchen but Godt said to just take care of cooking the rice.
"I would have asked Bas to be the one to cook the rice," said Godt, "but he has decided to spend some alone hours in the mini cottage."
"He knows about the mini cottage?" I asked.
"Of course he knows about the mini cottage," Godt replied, "his uncle owns this property."
"I heard that you and P'Tae stumbled upon it yesterday afternoon," he continued, "I haven't even seen it yet."
Talking about P'Tae I thought that I should check on him after cooking the rice.
I entered the room and saw him lying face down on his pillow. Well, not really face down because his head was tilted to one side so that I could still see one side of his face that was not on the pillow.
He must have fallen asleep because I heard his slow steady breathing that sounded very close to a soft kind of snoring.
I crept as quietly as I could to the bed and knelt down beside him.
Before I could stop myself, I had planted a light kiss on his slightly opened lips.
Tae's POV
I had barely started to doze off when I heard footsteps so soft that I probably would not have known that someone was approaching my bed if I had not recognized the faint familiar smell of Tee.
Yes, I have studied his scent for so long now that I could recognize it from ten feet away.
But the question in my groggy mind was why was he approaching me?
I kept my eyes closed, waiting to see what he would do next.
I could actually feel his breath on my face as he came closer and closer. My instinct was telling me what he was going to do and I knew how I was going to respond.
The moment I felt his lips on mine, I grabbed him and lifted him onto the bed beside me.
He let out a muffled shriek and I covered his mouth with my lips.
The next thing we knew we were kissing each other hungrily.
I started unbuttoning his shirt and thankfully he did not stop me from doing so.
"P'Tae! Dinner is ready!"
We heard Copter's voice from the doorway.
Tee and I immediately jumped out of bed.
"Oh, sorry!" Copter cried.
"No, no, no, I was just....." I started to say.
"We were only....." Tee was saying at the same time.
"Of course, of course," Copter interrupted, backing away, but his eyes were fixed on Tee's unbuttoned shirt.
I quickly moved in front of Tee as Tee drew his shirt across his chest.
Copter's POV
As I slowly backed away, still dazed at what I had just witnessed, I did not realize that P'Kim was walking towards me and I backed into him. i stumbled and would have dropped to the floor if he had not caught me.
"Why were you walking backwards?" he demanded to know.
"No reason," I said.
He gave me a look that said "Liar" and started to hop on his good leg in the direction of the bedroom.
I quickly ran and closed the door.
"Don't go in there," I warned him.
When he refused to listen I kicked him in the shin and he fell to the floor.
Shit I forgot all about his sprained ankle.
I ran and hugged him, saying over and over, "I'm sorry, P'Kim! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
"What are you two doing?" P'Godt said from behind us.
I quickly let go of P'Kim.
"Nothing!" I said, raising my arms up high defensively.
He smirked, shaking his head, and then went straight for the bedroom.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Too late.
I'm not sure what he witnessed but he ran backwards and fell on top of me and P'Kim.
