Fte 1

"so you want to hang out with me? Awesome! Let's go!" tobi dragged me by the arm towards the outdoors. He then did summersalts off of unstable branches.

"dude take it easy your going to get hurt" I yelled.

He stopped and jumped down "you don't have to worry about that I can't feel pain!"

"wha-"

"go on punch me! Punch me! PUNCH ME-"

I gave into peer pressure and punched him. He bearly flinched.

"haha didn't feel a thing!" he cheered.

"man that's freaky" I muttered.

"yeah I was born with no feeling in my body. Its called... Mmm I forgot"

"eh? How do you forget your own disability!"

"because it doesn't matter" he said simply "I just want to live my best life I'm not going to let some disability get in the way of that!"

"Well that's an interesting way to look at things" he's strange but I can't help but admire him. He's not the kind of person to let anything hold him back. I wish I was half as determined as he was.

Fte 2

"Take it easy tobi! Just because you can't feel pain doesn't mean you can't badly hurt yourself!" I called to the boy who was swinging dangerously upside down on the stairs railings.

He jumped down and hugged me. "eh?"

"sorry you just remind me of my sister" I said looking embarrassed.

"huh really?"

"yeah she died in a car accident" he said sadly.

"aww I'm sorry buddy" I said pulling him into a hug. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a sibling.

He looked up at me with a smile "I like you yosuke. Let's hang out again some time!" he ran off. Tobis an interesting kid. I'll think I'll hang out with him more often.

Fte 3

"hey yosuke let me tell you about my adventures" tobi said excitedly.

"Umm ok"

"Well it all started when my family decided to go on a trip to France. We were on the areplane when the pilot took a heart attack. I jumped to action and flew the plane down safely. After that they called me the ultimate pilot!"

I had no words. The fact that he was able to act in such a scary situation was nothing short of incredible.

"are you alright?" he asked.

"I'm fine just really impressed by your story!"

"hehe it was nothing" tobi giggled

And he plays it off like it's nothing!

Fte 4

I noticed tobi looking at his arm. I got closer and saw a large burn mark!

"gah!" tobi yelled covering his arm. There was a moment of silence between us.

"you want to know how I got it don't you?"

"Well not if you don't want me to" I said reassuringly.

"no its ok I trust you" he smiled nervously at me "my father wasn't the nicest man in fact he was awful! He abused me physically and sexsually. I could never feel any of it but I was always terrified" he hugged himself with a terrified look on his face "one day my mother had enough of it and tried to run away with us but dad lit the house on fire burning himself and everyone else alive. I  survived with a severe burn on my arm"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This poor kid had been through hell!

"hehe your the first person I told this to. Thanks for listening-"

I pulled him into a hug. "if you ever need anyone to talk to I'm right here ok"

He smiled at me with tears in his eyes "ok"

Tobis report card has been filled out.
