"This was a tourist town where people would stop by on their way across the country. This town was known for its festivities and hospitality of the people," Kenwyn continued.

On the monitor, I was seeing a before video clip of another small town dated one year ago. The people were busy and led simple lives. They had some tourist attractions and they welcomed tourists within their homes. Then another video came on dated four months ago where the town seemed more developed with better homes and facilities. But the people themselves looked like how I felt as their lively relaxed atmosphere had been sucked right out of them.

Then in the clip, the sound of what I think was an ice cream truck started to play. All of the townspeople stopped what they were doing to gather and looked up at the sky. The sky was clear and not a cloud was in it. So what could they have been staring at so intently? Then what sounded and looked like the town's mayor stopped the filming saying that they don't allow tapped recordings during this time.

"That town is no longer a tourist destination but a gated community that is now sealed off and requires permission to enter." Kenwyn then said.

"Ok I admit, that's weird but that still doesn't explain why Providence is interested in a town's social behavior." I had to agree but I still question why we would be involved.

Just then I heard another voice from behind me. It was my brother who should be buried in his lab work with that armor we got him. What could have gotten him up and about from that armor? He was so excited to get it so I didn't think I'd even see him again until I came back from the trip. When he came close enough to all of us he answered which showed that he had heard everything.

"The behavior doesn't look familiar to you. It should, considering you were against it when Black Knight did it."

He was right, that was what Black Knight did but never on humans. "You mean- wait these people aren't wearing collars and are not Evo's."

"There is more than one way to control people Rex, and considering we haven't heard found none of them since you cured them, any lead should be taken seriously." Caesar remained serious and said.

I would expect him to know considering he helped invent mind control. That aside without any scientists working for them anymore, they couldn't be behind this."But what can they do? They're powerless and without their prime scientist."

"We haven't found Van Kleiss since then either," Doctor Holiday answered.

That was a valid point as he was also on the team of scientists working on that but I still had my doubts."You think they would trust working with him again after what happened last time? Or that it can be him?"

 "Like your brother said nothing is solid which is why absolute discretion is advised. But since you have the most experience in dealing with those people you would be a great partner on this," Kenwyn restated part of what Six and my brother had said earlier also.

"Yeah, and if it's nothing, consider it a mini vacation where Providence foots the bill." Bobo who I think had enough of all this serious talk put in his five cents

"Yes but if it is, it will be best to have you there and since you're going I want you to look up Iru for me." Caesar, who I knew had something more to tell me than just give warnings about Van Kleiss or Black Knight.

That was an unusual name and I'd never heard him even mention anyone by that name before."I Who?" I said to find out more about this person he wanted me to find.

 "Not who, Ru, Iru. We used to go to science camp together but he moved there permanently to take care of his grandmother ever since. I'd just like to hear how he's doing." Caesar takes everything I say in a literal sense so he taught it best to also correct my pronunciation rather than just tell me how he knew the guy.

He said it with what looked like sadness and I don't think I've ever really seen him sad about anything. I still agreed to it and then he walked away. Iru was a unique name. If this guy was important enough for my brother to want to hear about him again he was worth checking into. Maybe it may lead to an even better insight into the life we had before the nanite event. A chance of something more than just fighting weirdos in battle-suited armor. Then I turned to Kenwyn who seemed to be busy working on a schedule already. Well, she may not be much fun but whenever I'm partnered with her the universe makes for it by sending me somewhere that is fun. I wasn't refusing this assignment cause it sounded like the break I needed.

If White Knight thinks that I'm just going there to work, he's dead wrong. It being a tourist and fishing town means they'll have beaches. That thought made my headache suddenly subside and a feeling of relief came over me. I guess it was shown on my face as it was like Bobo read my mind. "Fishing town's bound to have beaches, and where there's a beach..."

"There can be a beach party." I finished his sentence.

We both high-fived at the notion and at the corner of my eye I saw Six have the same expression as Kenwyn. Bobo was right she was a Six in training but that wasn't stopping me from having fun on this trip.

"Well, I can guarantee you Kenwyn that even if you're not dealing with Evo's anymore this trip will be one to remember. I remember the first time he went as a diplomat," I heard the Doc say to Kenwyn.

"And that's what I'm afraid of." Kenwyn then responded with a huff.
